The technician was very patient and helpful throughout the process. I was able to get my TB test done without any problems. The only issue I've experienced is that I never received a receipt and haven't been able to find one through the app, even after searching twice. That's the only problem I've had with an otherwise smooth experience. I will have to physically go into the quest office and request a receipt. I was hoping not to have to drive in to get this done. I tried to call them but the wait time is over 10 minutes so I've given up.

Encountered the WORST ATTITUDE from a staff member today 7/15/2025. My 94 yr old mother had a lab…read morerequest for a urine sample from her doctor for a suspected uti. I had been emailed a copy of the lab request from the doctor during our drive to Quest but was reassured it would be in their system once we arrived so no need to stop and print it. We made an app appointment at 12:30 and when we arrived, the tech could not find the lab request so I offered the copy I had to be emailed over. That's when I first witnessed the attitude. As if I had inconvenienced her. Not my fault the system wasn't showing the test. There was only one other gentleman in the waiting room and no one else was on the wait list screen. The gentleman was having issues as well and was emailing his lab request paperwork. Tech handed me a post it with a handwritten email. I immediately sent the pdf attachment and continued to wait with my mother to be recalled. Tech came back out and spoke with the gentleman and then snapped at me as she walked back to towards the locked doors telling me make sure I only send the correct file attachment to which I stated that I had already done so and to please go check the email before being so snippy. 5 minutes later we are finally recalled back to room 6. Tech then complains that the referral doctor's name wasn't on the paperwork and I was looking directly at it with the ID number on the right column of the order. She continued to type my mother's year of birth incorrectly into the system and gave me an attitude again when I repeated the correct year to her. Then a coworker walked in and started chatting about needing her car battery jumped and my tech was sweet as pie to her offering to jump her car since she had a fresh new battery in hers and made jokes with her. As soon as the coworker left, the tech asks me if my mother is fasting and I ask "what for? She isn't having any blood drawn, just a urine sample for a suspected uti" I am then met again with her nasty unprofessional attitude as she snaps at me and says "I'm just doing my job and reading what is on my screen!" I then say to her that I'm asking a question because it seemed odd to ask for fasting for a urine sample for a UTI and I wanted to know what for? She then continues to run her mouth and tells us to leave the sample in the basket down the hall. Wish I would have gotten her name because she needs to be FIRED since she is completely RUDE/UNPROFESSIONAL and hates her job so much! As a paying customer, I do not need to put up with such nonsense. There are better labs out there. Stay away from the VALRICO location!

People checking in an hour later still get called even before your scheduled time. The staff is rude and noncoherent to anyone with disabilities in the waiting room, and also NOT ADA compliant. Older people with wheelchairs can not open the doors, get upset, and leave, missing their doctor's assigned appointments. While I was waiting, other doctors and nurses who were doing drop-offs with expiring samples complained. I was told to wait further after being assigned someone who had not signed off on processing my lab. patients with later appointment times called bedoreme after I was told I was next in line due to being assigned the wrong "Specialist".

From the time my name was called I was treated with a lack of respect when the nurse (Edith) called out 'Danielle' when my name is 'Daniel'. Not trying to sound petty but perhaps she should exercise a little care in something as simple as calling a patient's name for multiple reasons. When I politely corrected her/repeated 'Daniel'? to make sure it was me that was up, she gave me an extremely nasty attitude and barked at, "Go in # One!" (Room One). At this time I asked what the problem was and why I was being given attitude. She continued with the same attitude and stated nothing was wrong. I asked for another nurse. I'm not having someone with that AWFUL bedside manner poke me with a needle/draw my blood. The other nurse (Arlene) was very polite and kind. It's how the first should have behaved and should be the standard for anyone in healthcare. I hope their directors see this and address with their staff appropriately. I asked for the name of whomever is in charge of this location and I was told Edith! I was given a card for another nurse at a different location whom they insinuated was in charge but I will do my own investigating to find the right person that should hear about this experience first hand. Do better Quest Diagnostics. 5 Thumbs DOWN.

I probably should just try traveling a little out of Plant City to see if they are all the same, but this particular location has a bunch of unfriendly people working there -- and I've been there quite a few times. The reason they are getting 2 stars, however, is because they have never had any difficulty drawing blood and this last experience wasn't painful at all (at least not physically). I made an appointment online to get bloodwork drawn. When I arrived I went up to the window as I had done before but I was shooed away to a kiosk to check in. Ok, I didn't see the kiosk, but they could have told me nicely to check in there. Then I was called up to the window to give my order in, which was for quite a few tests - I was just told "I have to verify these, it's gunna be a while". Luckily my doctor's office is awesome and got her the info she needed right away and the lab wasn't crowded, so I did't have to wait super long, but the lady just seemed so annoyed to have to help me. Basically the entire time I was in the lab I was talked to like the employees would rather be doing anything else in the world. I'm just hoping they get my tests correct, as the have ordered the wrong ones for my daughter in the past. If your insurance doesn't force you to go to LabCorp like mine does, go to the Quest in Plant City. They are sooooo much friendlier!

Everything went smoothly from check in, pre op, surgery and post op. I spent the night and received excellent care from a very well staffed and professional nursing team. I provided a very positive review on their web site. My second visit was scheduled late morning at 10:30 arrival. I will never accept a late morning surgery appointment again. First every parking spot was full. A five level garage provided not one open space. Eventually I found a car leaving in front of the women's care entrance. This was at the other end of the hospital from where I was told to enter near the south garage. I had no idea how to get back to the surgery check in. I entered the women's entrance and told the security guard I needed to get back to the south garage entrance. He radioed a man in a golf cart to meet me at the entrance and take me back to the surgery area. I told him the hospital website said there was valet parking near the children's emergency area. He said that was no longer being offered. My surgery lasted longer than the doctor told us and by the time I arrived in recovery and then post op I was the only patient in post op area. The nurses were all leaving and saying good night to other nurses. My nurse was the only one there. The motion lighting in the other tented rooms were turning off. As I was getting dressed to leave the nurse told my wife to bring the car to a different door to pick me up for the drive home. As I had dropped her off at the surgery entrance at 10:30, seven and a half hours earlier, she had no idea where our car was except my description of it parked across from the women's entrance. The nurse was so pleasant and helpful she offered my wife a wheelchair and took her to the security desk to call for the golf cart courtesy driver. Unfortunately, both the nurse and my wife learned that service goes home at 4:00. It's now 6:30. So now the only nurse in post op pushed my wife in a wheelchair the entire length of the hospital to the women's section to get our car. I sat by myself in a chair with now one light on waiting for the nurse to return. There are 6 handicapped parking spaces outside the surgery entrance. And perhaps 10 non handicapped spaces. Arriving late morning you will not find a parking spot. There are no reserved for surgery parking spots. As patients are released the assigned nurses go home and the area pretty much shuts down for the night. Very poor arrangement. The staff readily acknowledges that parking is horrible but apparently that's where it ends. The Doctors have a reserved parking area. The patients including surgeries are left to fend for yourself self. My future hospital needs will be at Tampa General or St Joe South.

My barely 25‑year‑old daughter, Taylor, died after what multiple independent physicians and an…read moreautopsy have confirmed was reckless medical negligence and neglect in an HCA Florida Hospital where she was taken after being rear‑ended at a red light. Her internal bleeding went undiagnosed for about eight hours despite glaring signs. Once imaging was finally ordered and active internal bleeding was confirmed, surgery was delayed for roughly seven more hours. In the meantime, the doctor ordered mass blood transfusion in an improper way that worsened her condition instead of stabilizing her, while failing to move the central line that was improperly placed and that the radiologist recommended be repositioned. HCA Healthcare has faced no consequences, and there is no way for people researching physicians through the Florida Department of Health (DOH), the medical licensing board, to see what happened to my daughter. Because she was 25, unmarried, and had no children, Florida's 'Free Kill' law strategically blocked me from pursuing legal recourse to ensure the hospital and its physicians are held accountable so the harm does not continue. My diabetes and heart stints obviously are data in my records and there's absolutely no reason to be seen for my past records. Office staff is not that friendly although there are a few that are. So if you're looking for a cheerful friendly greeting, this is not the place for you. As a doctor Joel was polite, respectful , and listened to my needs.
