My wife did that given this is our first child. The doctor got her PDF and replied back that she is no longer a "good match." No phone calls, no explanations, just unprofessionalism. Highly don't recommend. Now the stress this is creating is ridiculous. All because of this doctor.

When I first came to her, I thought I already knew what I needed. I've had ADHD since I was 5 and was originally treated with Ritalin. I stopped treatment as a teenager, convinced I didn't need meds anymore. Years later, in my 30s, I went through a really rough time with anxiety and depression and tried a bunch of SSRIs with awful side effects. Nothing helped. Eventually, a doctor suggested my anxiety and depression might actually be symptoms of untreated ADHD, and he started me on ADHD meds. He was right -- the moment my ADHD was treated, my anxiety and depression basically disappeared. I stayed on that treatment for a few years and then stopped. Fast forward five years -- symptoms were creeping back in, and that's when I found April. I gave her the full backstory, confident I already knew what worked for me. But she didn't just take my word for it -- she really listened to both what I said and what I didn't realize I was saying through my symptoms. Based on my responses and behavior, she suggested starting with something to treat depression. I was hesitant -- I reminded her that SSRIs had never worked for me. She explained that Wellbutrin wasn't an SSRI and asked if I'd be open to trying it. Within a week, I felt different. Not just better -- but clearer. For the first time, I realized I might have actually been depressed my whole life without knowing it. I just thought that was how life felt for everyone. After a few months, we started ADHD treatment again. I'd always done well on Vyvanse, but April suggested we try Concerta. The combo of Wellbutrin and Concerta has been a complete game-changer. This place is awful. They work on the sunk-cost principle. You first have to go have an interview…read morewith the office manager, where he assures you how much cheaper their services are than a regular doctor's office. Then you have to have an appointment to establish service. During this appointment, they literally will NOT talk to you about any medical issues you have or any prescriptions you might need. You're supposed to make another appointment for that. This first appointment is just for the APRN to nod her head while you go over your history. They make a big deal about being cheaper than doctors, and it's true, their actual visit cost is less. However, you'll quickly find (if you pay out of pocket like we do) that they have "procedure fees" for everything. For instance, at the doctor we eventually found, I only pay a $35 nurse fee for vaccinations, but at Park Wellness, I was expected to pay the regular office visit fee PLUS an additional amount for a procedure fee, which brought the total to MORE than a checkup with the doctor. Not only that, but I was flat out told that they charge MORE for a procedure fee for people who pay out of pocket than they charge insurance companies. The office manager, who is related to both APRNs and is therefore likely there to stay, is a rude jerk. I'd say more, but frankly, I have so little trust for this place that I don't want to say enough that I can be identified. This was one of the worst "doctor" experiences I've ever had.

Both APRN's that work at this office truly care about the well being of their patients, they will call and check in after an appointment to make sure you are recovering. They do keep you accountable on your end of the health plan, which in my option we all need. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to do so.

The worst experience ever. I was accepted into her practice a year ago, but I have never met or…read moreseen her. I was given three appointments. I showed up on time for all three but was sent home without seeing her. The first time after waiting 3 mos for the apt., I got there right at 9am the appointment time, but because I didn't get there 20 mins before my apt, though I called from the road and was told to still come in, I was sent home without seeing her or anyone. The second time 3 mos later, I saw the medical assistant. When I said I was hoping to meet Dr. Dolan, the assistant said, Maybe this practice isn't for you. Rather hostile. The third visit also 3 mos. later, I had hope to finally meet the doctor and get the referrals for serious conditions that require follow up--I was turned away again. This time because I didn't have labs. But the staff never requested labs and I had the blue sheet given by the assistant that showed that labs had not been checked. I was turned away by very unpleasant staff. I moved from Honolulu a year ago, and all this time I've been trying to actually meet with Dr. Dolan as my PCP and I've been trying to get her to refer me to both a Gyn doc and a Gastrointerologist, but it has been hopeless. The staff said the sent requests for records from my previous docs and asked me to follow up with them which I did. NONE of the four docs had gotten requests. This office held up any care and I'm a senior with on-going issues, for a year. They wasted my time and treated me without normal human kindness or concern. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor who was completely unavailable. I don't know why she accepts new patients if she can't see them and relies on medical assistants who may or may not be certified. I've finally found a doc that I can actually see, and his staff is efficient and kind.
