Layered corn tortillas w/ ham and beans, topped with salsa verde and guac
    Lindsay B.

This was my favorite breakfast in Holbox, I think because it was different and I have never had anything like it before. I wish I could remember the exact name of the dish on the menu but I got the layered corn tortillas with ham and beans in between, which was topped with guacamole, pickled onions and salsa verde. I was so in love with this dish I was making annoying "Mmm..." noises the entire time I ate it. The interior is fun and catches your eye and they have a table that has swing seats (we obviously chose to sit here). The over all experience was a good one and I have been craving that meal since! **FOLLOW MY FOOD INSTAGRAM: @LinnysLunchbox

Excellent food and atmosphere here. Fernando is an excellent representative and very gracious. The Pescadillas are the best!!

It is a great restaurant, the food in very original, from the drinks to the desserts... the mix of Mexican ingredients is incredibly good. My recommendation is the the Fish green ceviche and the goat cheese flan and the Chocolate tamal.

Chilaquiles verdes con pollo y la burrita

Stopped at this sweet outdoor restaurant for a great affordable breakfast of chilaquiles verdes with chicken and burrita. The dishes were flavorful and filling. The pickled onions were a nice touch. Our bill came out to 220 (~$12 USD) after tip. Will definitely stop in again before we leave!

The seabass was great, but the lobster was incredible, and unlike anything we'd be able to access in New York. Also a nice date night-type setting, on top of the great food.

The night we were there, the menu choices included white fish (like sea bass) with poblano chilies, a shrimp with chipotle butter, a mixed seafood dish and a steak entree. Nothing was truly spicy. Later, seeing the small open kitchen, we were surprised at all they produced there with one person cooking. When on Holbox, go for the seafood. (It's a fishing village. You can't go wrong.) The chef came to each table to take orders after his business partner greeted us and shared initial details about the set menu. We tried to buy time to ponder the menu, but the chef let us know we had to order immediately. We didn't want to offend the chef and miss a chance at dinner so we obliged, but maybe a little less pressure would have worked better with our vacation pace. Still a nice dinner experience on the island.
