She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and wasn't causing any discomfort to myself or the baby. I love that she asked me what scents she should avoid during the massage, I hadn't really thought about it but while pregnant there are just centain smells you just can't stand. So I appreciated her attention to the little details prior to my arrival. I only asked her to avoid lavander because I'm allergic to it, but she ended up avoiding anything scented, which I appreciated. Sometimes I don't know if something is going to make me nauseous until I smell it, so avoiding anything scented so my nausea wouldn't be triggered was very thoughtful of her. She was gentle yet applied enough pressure on tight spots without hurting me. She mentioned that massaging feet was her specialty, however, my feet are very ticklish so I asked her to avoid touching them. However, I can only imagine how good of a foot massage she gives because when she was working on my legs and thighs (getting closer to my feet) the better I felt she got at the massage! Since she had to avoid my feet she gave me a face massage, which, up until then I didn't know could be so enjoyable and didn't know was as relaxing as it was. The menu is small and limited in terms of what they offer. I had to ask the masseuse if there was a body and foot combination and she said that there was for $65. It didn't really save me any money because she said that a full body for one hour was $40 and the foot was $25. My masseuse was quite flexible as she fit me in at the last minute on a Saturday night. Once you are ready for your massage, you are led down a hallway and there are several rooms off to the side where you can enjoy your private massage. The facility was clean, but the bathroom could have been more pleasant and warmer as there was some stucco repairs that needed to be done, and the sink looked as if it was a sink to wash clothes in- not your hands. Be prepared to be in the buff for your massage. Don't be shy. My masseuse was kind, easy to talk to and she asked me what particular areas on my body I wanted her to focus on. My overall experience was more of... stroking with oils by hot stones, but I prefer the deep tissue, hands on approach. As soon as I was trying to leave, the masseuse opened the door to let me out and we both saw a homeless guy looking inside of my car with a flashlight that was parked close to the door. Thank Goodness he wasn't really in his right mind because he didn't seem to notice that we were observing him. He then moved to the car parked next to mine and was looking in it as well. He then scurried off down the Pep Boys driveway into the darkness. There was nothing that we could really do about the situation, so I just briskly walked to my car as fast as I could. This is not a safe plaza to be in at night.
