While vacationing in San Jose del Cabo with my daughter in March of 2026, we had occasion to return to Rosa's Spa for massages. Both my daughter and I have had many massages in Texas where we live, in the six months since we first visited Rosa's Spa in September of 2025. Our experience of Rosa's was even better than before and was judged by both myself and my daughter to be the best ever. Rosa's has made several improvements to their facilities in the last months and has even added another building location a block away from the main Spa to increase the number of massage rooms. Every massage room now has a privacy door. Last September, that was not the case, as only one room had a door. Most other massage establishments in San Jose del Cabo have curtains at the massage room entrance instead of doors. This latest week in San Jose del Cabo I had multiple massages by Jasmine and my daughter had multiple massages by Sheila and also one by Jasmine. Both of us agree that Jasmine and Sheila are the two of the best massage therapists that we have ever experienced. I also had a 90 minute Four Hands massage by Jasmine and Elaina which was fantastic. My daughter had a facial at Rosa's Spa which she said was great. All of this at a fraction of the cost for the same services at our resort located close to Rosa's. There is nothing "rosy" about this place. It felt more like a dark, hot storage room than a spa. This was honestly the worst massage I've ever experienced. My daughter enjoyed hers, but mine was a mess from the start. I requested focus on my right side, but the therapist physically couldn't reach that side of the table the space was too tight, and she didn't have room to move properly. She awkwardly squeezed between the wall and table, gave up halfway through, and just switched sides. To make it worse, her nails were way too long for bodywork. It didn't feel like massage it felt like scratching and rubbing. Ten minutes in, I asked her to stop. She walked out without a word, like she already knew it wasn't going well. Even though it clearly wasn't a full session, the front desk tried to charge me for 30 minutes. He showed me a timer as proof, but it was obvious she just clocked out late. Unfortunately, this matched the tourist-trap energy I've read about in some parts of Cabo pushing for payment no matter the quality. The space had no A/C, no spa like ambiance, and no professionalism. Just staff sitting outside when we arrived and again when we left. If you're looking for relaxation, look elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I live in San Jose and have been going to both of Rosa's locations since 2019. I have brought many friends for massages as well. The staff is lovely. They do their best to accommodate you. Sometimes 2 people will go to one spa and other friends will cross the street to the other location for us to complete the massage at the same time. They are very professional and have a clean business. read more

Contacted this place for a gel manicure and pedicure via phone. Made an appointment for the next day via whatsapp and sent a photo of the color I wanted to make sure they had it. I arrived next day to my appointment, the color I wanted was exactly the same and the process started right away. Now, this is not your usual mani pedi salon. They have a makeshift pedicure station, but I didn't care as long as the service was good (which it was!). My nail technician, Shaira, was extremely patient, attentive and super flexible. The host, a male, was also extremely nice and a great translator. My gel mani and pedi took about 2 hours total (I know that's pretty long, but the results made it all worth it). Overall, I took a risk with this place considering their lack and negative reviews but I encourage you to consider this place for a mani and pedi based on my experience and you'll be amazed! BEWARE!! Something HORRIBLE happened!! I sent my adult daughter here and she was sexually assaulted!! The male masseuse also put his hand on her mouth doing so. She froze in the room, left and burst INTO TEARS 10 min later when she came home. Her husband and my fiancé went to management and management denied it and did NOTHING!! More expensive than I was hoping for just a basic mani pedi but really happy to have somewhere I could instantly get in. The massage rooms looked nice I would have gotten one but was wanting to hit the beach. They spoke English great and my nail artist seemed so attentive.
