I've always been happy with this Rosauers location. Just received a cake from their bakery. While placing the order, I was asked if I had any particular theme in mind. I let them know that I did not - but I was ordering the cake for a very silly person who owns rubber chicken earrings and who used to have an IG account for chicken sightings. If you want an affordable one-stop grocery shop in Moscow that will include natural/organic options, this is your spot! The Moscow Rosauers has two distinct sections. To the left is the regular grocery store with great selection of affordable foods. They have a fantastic seafood department - best in town! On the right side of the store you'll find the "Huckleberries" (natural food) section with bulk bins, allergy-friendly food, organic options, etc. I usually shop the regular side first to get the best deals and then pop over to the Huckleberries side for my specialty items. The Huckleberries section is significantly larger than the one in Lewiston, offering almost as many options as the Co-op, and at way better prices. They have lots of local goods for sale too - raw milk, kombucha on tap, etc. read more

Full service prices without full service. Baggers are completely inept and do not get any better. Which leads me to believe management is inept and cannot properly train their staff. I'm talking about basics like don't put canned goods with bread and produce, and keeping like items together so they are easier to unpack. My wife had a $500 load of groceries and the bagger made her place the items in the cart because she was afraid to do it wrong. Many moons ago I worked at a grocery store (for 4 years). If someone has a large load, just use a second cart and help the customer out to their car! read more

So Rosauers isn't going to have the low prices of Winco, but what they lack in value they make up for in everything else. I called to make a bulk order and was met with a kind and helpful individual who made sure that I got everything I needed. They have a great assortment for a small grocery store (i.e. if you're making a quick trip and are afraid they won't carry what you're running in for, fear not, they probably will) AND they have an entire organic/health section that often has better prices than the local Co-op. Plus the checkers are always friendly and happy to help you search something down. Plus they have lots of new deals every week. So I can't afford to shop for everything here, but that doesn't warrant saving a "star" because Rosauers is great in every other way. I'd rather have a great selection with fabulous service than anything else anyway. read more

This review is for the Deli mainly I have gotten other stuff here but the Deli is were it is at baby over all its a grocery store ya so what .... but if you are ready to get your lunch on go to there deli and gets some food the Fried chicken is damn good, no its not Albersons (see my review on there deli) so is the baked and rotisserie but hey its what is in town and its better than KFC any day of the week !! and the salads and other sides all that I have tried so far have been fresh and damn tasty the people working here must take happy pills or its just that its a small town, they always have a smile on there face, and are a pleasure to talk to, and living in Seattle I know how bitchy the people can be at Safeway and QFC read more

This store is my go-to shopping center in the Moscow area. Let's jump right into my opinion of the organic foods of the store. They have organic vegetables, fruits, nuts, and high-quality meat. My favorites are the avocados, tomatoes, kale, and tenderloin steak. The quality is exceptional- in fact it's the best in town. Their only close rival is the Co-op, so make sure to check quality and prices in both stores before you go to the checkout because Rosauers is quite expensive across the board. The deli department is fantastic, my favorite is the roast beef. Their cheeses have broad variety however are extremely expensive. The bakery is not my favorite, however I don't like bakery foods in general so I can't speak for everyone. If you happen to be an oddball like me then you should know they carry unusual items such as squid steak, fresh turmeric, Japanese pears, persimmons, giant avocados, star fruit, etc. The wine and beer selections are amazing. They carry Guinness beer at a decent price (my favorite beer). The wine selection is dedicated to an entire aisle involving good wines at low prices. The ruby port called Whidbeys is my favorite. Whidbeys is roughly $17 a bottle, however it tastes like a $50 or $60 bottle of port. Now onto the service and a appearance of Rosauers. The store seems well organized and clean. Other Shoppers are usually quiet and respectful. The atmosphere is just lay back and professional in general. Employees are kind, respectful, and very knowledgeable about the products in the store. The lady in the meat department was very kind to me and answered my questions- even if they're about unusual Meats. The checkout is prompt and they take care to bag your groceries properly. Overall this store in Moscow is undoubtedly my favorite with the Co-op as the runner-up. This is why I granted Rosauers five stars. read more

I think the tag line could be: Rosauers - it's not WinCo. I lived nearby and shopped here often. What I liked most is that it wasn't full of screaming children or hoards of college students. The produce was well stocked and had some exotic items now and then. Actually most items are very well stocked. I could get most everything I need here. The staff is super friendly and the bakery does a nice job. There is a RedBox in the vestibule. It gets a 4 for not being the Co-Op (my favorite store) but would make a 4.5 if possible since they do have a nice all natural section. This is your average aging grocery store. The employees are friendly and prices are mostly competitive. It's in a pretty decent location to make it an easy stop for lunch, though sadly the prepared foods division and deli are regrettably unpalatable. Either hot or cold prepared food items tend to be very bland leaving much to be desired for the prices charged. If you need to make a quick grocery store run for ingredients, it will suffice so long as you have the patience of a saint to traverse the parking lot. read more

Like Safeway they have a few items deeply discounted and everything else is regular priced. However, unlike Safeway, the selection is great and everything seemed well stocked. The reason I give it five stars is because it is one of the few stores with such a great health goods section. They have a large section for gluten free snacks and cereals. A large supplements section and a variety of healthy oils. read more

unfortunately I have to change my reviw thanks to their new policies in the store apparently with security, after working my 8 hours I stopped to buy coffee and something to eat, and as always I pay at the deli, but a dude followed me throughout the store and when i have to left the store he told me: that I cannot go out because I have not paid and I should show him my receipt, he was never showed up who is doing there, but it bothered me a lot because in 5 years that I bought in the store they never asked me about my receipts and im only spanish guy in the store and no one else were asked about their receipt, the subject ran me off the store and told me not to come back , I wanted to talk to the manager about this situation but the only thing the manager responded to me was :is new store policies....anyways the store is clean and nice stuff u can find there, the personal at deli have good customer service and always something good to eat, but unfortunately for me im not come back .... read more
