was inline at checkout and I noticed 2 boys horsing around and being smart with each, just being kids. at some point 1 must have not scanned or missed an item. the security dude was a complete D***. instead of giving the kid a stern warning and being done with it, he called the cops and pressed charges I heard the Mom talking with the kid on the way out and the security douche pressed theft charges for $10. ridiculous. I used to spend about $500 a month on groceries there due to convenience, but that ended today. I will be taking my $500 a month to Winco for groceries from now on. I understand how preventing theft is important to stores, but this kid made a mistake at self checkout. nothing in either one of their actions warranted any suspicion they were stealing. shame on Walmart for hiring such a tyrant. read more

Pharmacy is full of lazy Lil twats..I was right there watching the Lil fat one in glasses help another person and my scrip was ready but she was so worried about her lunch she couldn't be bothered to help me real quick.so I complained and drove back after an hr which is almost 40 miles round trip.lil fatty saw me and whispered to her co-worker and then calls the person behind me to help them.i am done with walmart pharmacy they are lazy and the Lil fatty behind the counter is a asshole to customers. Original Walmart in the area. They built the Pullman Walmart in 2012 and started scaling this location back. Then they renovated this Walmart and two Supercenters. One for each of the nearby Universities. Prices between the two are generally the same. Main difference is obviously Idaho versus Washington sales tax. This location I prefer right off the highway for the ease of parking and getting in and out of the store. Same layout for each store. Real difference is the staff but both stores have a majority of college students working along with locals. This location does beat out Pullman for proximity to University of Idaho obviously. Also nearby stores to supplement anything you couldn't find in the store here which is a big plus Up a bit on the "hill" but loads of parking all around. A great place to grab food, household items, or to walk around and kill time during finals week. read more

I have to give a shout out to this store's manager, Zach Williams. We went to the Moscow, ID Walmart when moving our daughter into WSU recently because the Idaho store had more stock of the things we needed. We had no problem getting everything there, and all went well until we got back to her room, unpacked everything, and realized they had forgot to give us 2 packages of lightbulbs we'd paid for. Husband and I were trying to leave town for a long drive home, so did not want to have to drive all the way back to the store, and our daughter is a freshman, so she didn't have a car to get to the store either. As she was going to be busy all week during Rush, we tried to call the store to get someone to bring her the lightbulbs or mail them, but couldn't get ahold of anyone even after repeated calls to the store. We left feeling very frustrated. Upon coming home the next day I was able to get ahold of the mgr Zach, who was very apologetic and drove the 2 packages of bulbs over to my daughter's dorm along with a $30 gift card inside another card extending his apologies for our inconvenience! He was very genuine and sincere when I spoke with him on the phone, and our daughter was sure happy about the gift card which she can really use. This is truly going above and beyond, and we just wanted to say "Thank You" so much for the great customer service!! read more

I don't have a problem with the Walmart itself, but the deli staff is always extremely rude to me. I've had my fiancé order our deli meat when we go together because they're not rude to him, however every time I go alone I get horrible service. read more

Watch out for daily price increases, while their costs have gone up 5%, they have increased 25-30% and sometimes 50%, yes, when you print more money it loses value however their costs have not gone up that much. The way that Sam Walton beat out all the other stores in his area that way back when in Arkansas, was that he relied on volume by cutting prices instead of gouging like the idiots that used to own all of the five and dime stores. However not a single Walmart employee I've ever asked has ever read Sam Walton's book, which is stated in his will ll that every employee should read it, or at least anyone in management. Price gouging slows sales and reduces profits, it's an archaic business model that has no place in a mega chain like Walmart, that owns the planes trucks as well as some of the manufacturing, and has a low operating and supply cost because of that. Gouging=less profit, slow moving supply chain. Facts! read more

Wal-Mart Pharmacy is slow, lacks any any type of customer service from the Pharmacist, who remain behind their counters and make the lackies, making minimum wage, break the news to upset customer that they haven't heard from the doctor, or they don't carry the medication or whatever it is. This after you have done your part in the process, gave them a week to get the medication ready, drove 16 miles out of the way in a snow storm just to be told that they haven't heard back from the doctor. I so want to scream profanities right now! Guess what mom, you are switching your medication needs to Rite-Aid or Rosauers, both of which are awesome at customer service commitment. Ok. I admit it. I love Wal-Mart. And this one is no different. While I was participating in an internship here in Moscow, Wal-Mart was on my list of daily stops after work. Everything I ever needed, I purchased here. If you've ever been to Moscow or live there now, you should pretty much know that there ain't too many places to shop there. Moscow is a small town but its the home of the University of Idaho. Less than 10 miles away is Washington State University in Pullman, WA. As you can guess, this Wal-Mart is on the Idaho/Washington border. A perfect place between both universities. Great location. Great neighborhood. read more

Ugh. I can't stand Wal-Mart and this store actually helped push me over the edge. My family didn't have much growing up and every month we made a special 4 hour round trip drive to the closest one. And so, it was natural when I was out on my own that I still gravitated to it for everything that I needed. I was in that store so often that people were asking me why I didn't just get a job there. And so it still was as I started having my children. My husband and I didn't have much either, especially when he decided to go back to school. So, we had it in our heads that we couldn't afford to shop anywhere else. But as time went by, I started discerning a pattern of cheaply made shoes that always fell apart (even for me, and adult that has a huge shoe fetish so not only rotated them quite often but also at that time was quite lazy and drove everywhere instead of walked), cheaply made toys that broke in less than a week, etc. Over the last several years, I have gravitated towards the greener way of life but up until two years ago (has it really been that long?), I still shopped here quite regularly. It started with their crappy house brand baby wipes & diapers that broke my little ones out in a rash. So we stopped with those and went with clothe diapers and since this store had such a tiny selection I wound up ordering offline. And it was often that I experienced empty expanses of shelves, boxes piled in the aisles, items not labled properly etc. Not only was this during the day, it wasn't during a holiday rush when this type of stuff is expected as well as understandable. I have several family members that worked for Wal-Mart in general and I didn't like what they said about how the treat their employee. And then I started learning about where their stuff is made, how those workers are treated, etc. And that made me mad. But I still shopped there! But the more times I went there and found empty shelves, and crappy items, the more I got sick and tired of spending money only to have it break or fall apart much sooner than should have been expected. You get what you pay for. So I decided to see if it was true: Could my family only afford to shop here for everything or was this just big corporation in a very commercialized country that had convinced a whole generation of this idea since everything was so darn cheap? And you know what? We could afford to shop elswhere. We have learned to do with less or even do without. Just because it's only $1 or even less, doesn't mean you need it! So there's less crap around the house and the kids aren't heartbroken everytime I turn around because their new favorite toy was now food for the dumpster. I also got tired of all of the huge toy recalls due to lead, almost all of which were sold at this store. I'd much rather pay a little more for a well made item that wasn't made in a sweatshop with defective products and will last longer than two hugs from a small child. So, yeah, I admit I could go on all day here. While I disagree with Wal-Mart in general, I do know of several well run stores. This wasn't one of them. And from what some of my friends, who do still shop there, have said, it still isn't. read more

Absolutely deplorable customer service. Do not ask a question or ask for help from any of the associates roaming aimlessly around the store unless you'd like to feel like an idiot. After being treated horribly while shopping it will only get worse at the register . Micheal at customer service was the only redeeming factor after the rude jerk at the register, Donald, screwed up my transaction completely then argued with me about it for 10 minutes! So now after all is said and done I still have to wait 7-10 business days for the refund to hit my account since Donald is an idiot! read more

Don't bother with the deli. It is always understaffed and out of the good stuff. WinCo is the place for deli.
