Denise O'Dunn is patient, caring and an excellent practitioner. I am a registered yoga instructor who has studied ayurveda myself and has has experienced panchykarma treatments in India. Balance and Bliss is the real deal, right here in Tampa. Namaste.

I decided to temporarily leave the frenetic corporate world, to find a better balance in my life. During this time, I found yoga at the Lotus Pond and even decided to enroll in the Teacher Training program scheduled to begin in January. But, I still was not as strong as I expected to feel and need direction. A couple of friends suggested a consultation with Denise. During the consultation, Denise took time to listen to my concerns and when I left our appointment with my "personalized plan," I was filled with hope. Within the first few days of following the recommendations, I noticed a significant difference both physically and mentally and by the second week, I decided to schedule Panchakarma - the full cleanse. I thought it would be a nice way to start a New Year. I tell everyone that Panchakarma was one of the "Top 5 Best Decisions" in my life because I found "Balance and Bliss". Even though "the cleanse" is rather restrictive for a few weeks, you get out of the experience what you put in. I was completely dedicated to that time and believe my experience was rewarding and successful because of that commitment. Denise and Kevin treated me with the utmost respect, care and love during the treatments. It was an incredibly beautiful week.! It was not until I finished the week that I realized how truly out of balance I was and how far I had come in such a short period of time. I will schedule Panchakarma as an annual event. This has been a life changing process. Even after my Panchakarma treatment ended, I was so amazed at how much I learned both about my body and myself that I felt the need to share with everyone my experience. I needed to explain how simple it was to feel better after so many years of stress related issues yet I still was not sure how it worked. Each conversation with Denise left me hungry for more knowledge about this ancient science so within two weeks of completing my Panchakarma treatment, I enrolled in Florida Academy of Ayurveda. I would highly recommend both Balance and Bliss as well as the Florida Academy of Ayurveda. I am truly blessed to have met Denise and feel fortunate she and her family have assisted me on my path to find Balance and Bliss. Namaste, Krista

A dear friend referred me to Kecia Fowler and I'm forever grateful to her because Kecia is perfect for me and for everyone She is calm, kind, listens well, asks leading questions to help draw information from me that it is relevant to my healing. I felt totally safe with her, right at our first meeting. Kecia has taught me so many helpful lessons like, I don't need to remember my trauma to forgive and or release it, to me that was HUGE! She also does this thing called Zero Balancing where she reads the energy flow through within the body and can detect blockages and with her gentle touch and acupuncture needles she can help get things back into a balanced flow. I love that at every session we talk first about what's going on and how I'm feeling emotionally and physically, because every little detail means something and the more she knows the better she can help me heal myself. I'd like to say it's like magic but it's not, it's the ancient art of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. In the beginning while I was going through the hard times of healing and letting go, I saw Kecia often but now that I feel amazing I still see her once a month for maintenance so I stay feeling great. If I have my way, I'll see Kecia for the rest of my life

It has helped with other issues. However, going to Art of Acupuncture is another whole level! It is like going to a high end resort spa - decor, music, candles, heated massage bed- along with the acupuncture. So it is emotionally, mentally, and physically rejuvenating. Katie brings another level to it with her caring and her ability to adapt the needle placement to changing emotional, mental, and physical issues. I started here with lots of physical issues that had happened all at once and the trauma of the two storms during this time of physical pain and medical issues. I had almost no energy and no appetite. This pain and symptoms had lasted for 4 months and physical therapy did not help. After 4 sessions with Katie, I was able to walk normally and with no pain in knee, no rib pain from costochondritis, and my energy was flowing again. I felt mentally and physically capable of getting out and enjoying things again. My energy is flowing. She gave me advice that I actually took because of her knowledge and her caring attitude and that has also made a big difference. Now that I am feeling well, I am still going to go at least once a month because it may be the best thing I have ever done to feel better. Just talking with Katie is like great therapy, and then the spa environment, and the effects of the acupuncture - what a great experience. Marianne at the front desk is very helpful. Also, the way Katie does the needles, they don't hurt. I might feel 2 of them and am not even aware of the others.
