We were lucky enough to learn about Amanda Collins Photography through Viaggio Winery's preferred vendor list, and I couldn't be happier to have Amanda as our wedding photographer. Not only did the pictures end up absolutely gorgeous (and delivered in a reasonable timeframe with near-immediate social media previews) but having Amanda and her husband there genuinely made my wedding experience more enjoyable and seamless. They also did an excellent job in getting both black and white and color shots, as well as a good combination of posed and candid photos. I honestly couldn't be happier with the pictures. It might be worth noting that we had a Persian wedding ceremony, which meant a bit more of an elaborate setup including something called the Soreh Aghd. Amanda and Chandler did an incredible job capturing the details of the Sofreh Aghd. It was very reassuring to know that she took care to capture the cultural elements of our wedding with such attention to detail and precision. Additionally, Amanda went absolutely above and beyond the duties of a photographer- from taking care of my immensely complicated bustle, to acting as a security guard for some overly interested passerby near the ceremony site (lol). These 2 have the full package when it comes to what you need from a photographer; Their photos/videos taking skills are top shelf, know how to make people feel comfortable, and are true professionals. Particularly for a wedding, there was something special about them being an in love husband and wife themselves that made them blend in for their shots just a bit more. For our engagement shoot and our wedding, they sent us sneak peak photos and video real within days which we were not asking for or expecting. Those photos, along with the final, could not have been any better! My wife is more of a natural when it comes to getting her photo/video taken but as the groom, J&R gave me and my groomsman a bunch of smiling/posing tips for the wedding day that elevated the photos. So much so, that a lot of our friends were naturally asking for their contact. Lastly, we like J&R so much as humans that we are still texting with them post honeymoon because we legitimately miss hanging out with them. That's how awesome these 2 are. The latest review was exactly what I experienced. Shelly not even responding back after being paid in full is to me ridiculous. I am the customer, but yet I am the one calling and being ignored for a product or update. Im afraid to call and ask for what I paid for or even write this review because I really want the memories from my wedding. This is not something someone should ever feel as a customer who is paying for something so sentimental! No one should have to experience that and I would love to update my review to 5 stars if I ever receive a response and get the video I have paid for. I am not the only person who feels this and I know 2 others who are going through exactly this at this very moment! So my reception was February 2019. He said it's slow season and 2 months it should be done. Ok cool. The day of, I hear nothing and they show up with 2 camera guys and I had no issues there. Well, 2 months goes by and delay... ok cool. 3 months crickets and eventually he responds says his phone is lost and ask me what songs I want... which I'm like dude I gave that to you like 2 months ago so hmmm this makes me think you havent event started... now 4 months and I message maybe 1 time a week and he says ok we shall it by end of the month. Well... now end of month and again crickets. No surprise. Meanwhile, my friends are messaging me saying he taped their wedding back in Oct 2018 and they haven't heard from him or received a video. I told him to call them and he never did. She had to ping him repeatedly. Still she has no video. We all paid in full and honestly cannot help but to feel scammed and sad and frustrated. Honestly, if it took 6 months then I wish he would just say that and have our expectations there but he didnt. And now with 2 months to 5 months and hearing no responses back and having others reach out as well about this issue makes me nervous. Shelly I really wish you could atleast be responsive and just give us realistic timelines and just communicate. Your work seems amazing and I would love to see if.

We were required to use this establishment for my child's senior photos and because of the exorbitant prices, we were really conflicted about it. We had the option to take the basic photo at no cost IF we were available for the one month period they were offered. If you are not available or cannot get an appointment because they are full you are forced to pay a $20 fee just for the sitting. I think it is horrible that a child's family be forced to pay just to have ONE photo taken so they can be listed in the yearbook. This is the first red flag you will notice when dealing with this business. A senior yearbook photo is something every child, regardless of socioeconomic status should be entitled to. Males also have to either rent a tux or pay the photographer $10 to use one of theirs. We actually paid much more for our sitting because I wanted my child to have the opportunity to select his yearbook photo (which apparently people of little means don't deserve) and to have options to chose from. I received an email THE EVENING BEOFRE our appointment stating that I would have to rescheduled "due to air conditioner maintenance" when I had already taken the day off work. This was the second red flag and the beginning of our horrible customer service experience. I had to reschedule and take another day off work. The photo session itself was fine. We were in and out. The photos were fine too, but no better or worse than any others we have ever had. THE PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS! We paid over $400 for an 8X10, 2 5X7's and 8 wallets of 3 different poses. It's enough to make you cry. I emailed them multiple times trying to make an order. I explained that I need to make my order through email because I cannot use my personal cell during business hours due to my job. I explained they could charge the same card they charged for the "Sitting fee". I was told it was being handled on July 30th. On August 20th I still had heard nothing from the business and emailed the "Client Relations Manager". Eight days later, still no response so I emailed them again (The photographer Arnold and the employee Kendra). In September I was contacted and told the emails were missed and to call to make an order... What???? I had to go through the process all over again and at the end of the month, finally received an email that the photos were ready. This was a painful 4 month process. All the other reviews about horrible customer service and this attitude that their business is too good to apologize are accurate. Also, since the owner likes to post comments to people's reviews, I have kept all the emails and would be more than happy to share them online. ****Any parents forced to use this business please take my advice: Spend the least amount of money possible here. Get in, get out and take your child to any other photography place for their photos. You can get 10 times as many poses for a fraction of the price at any other photography studio and I can't imagine the customer service could be worse, so it's worth taking a chance. I hate to give bad reviews but this business was a nightmare: Overpriced product, terrible customer service, entitled attitudes and looking down their nose at customers. Remember how much you love your child and they deserve this special moment to be with people who will treat them with respect and should not cost you a fortune.**** I hope this will help any parents struggling with this decision as I did. She was able to help me with poses and caught the best angles. I can't stress the angles enough, she maneuvers the camera until she finds the shot and it makes all the difference.
