I took a tour of the Elk Grove Rose Garden, where I found myself running from a bee, but that is to BEE expected.
The garden sits on a small lush, green grass Park with a gazebo, decorative fountain, chess table and a cute little sitting area. It also has several bench seats for you to relax and take time to enjoy your time.
The roses were beautiful and in full bloom. I really enjoyed walking in the garden. It is nestled on a street with no parking. There is a PRIVATE parking lot across the street but your car WILL be towed if you park there, if you are not a member.
I was nervous parking on the street in front of someone's home because there was not one car parked on the street, barely in the driveways.
I was very uncomfortable and felt as if someone was going to call the police on me. Taking pictures was kinda hard because I did not want to capture the resident's homes. I was not sure if this was a park only for resident's walking through neighborhood or if it was a public park. Kinda of reminded of a parking a gated or senior community.
It was a BEAUTIFUL park, but no one was there and it did not feel friendly or inviting, but the flowers were GORGEOUS, I did enjoy them QUICKLY, thanks to the BEE.... read more
