In hindsight this was a huge mistake on my end. The next curveball was getting the Comcast package they insist you have here running. I was on the phone with Comcast for almost 4 hours my first night since it became clear that there was only one viable cord connection for either wifi or cable in my apartment and the other three cords were not working. The next curveball was finding out that I was stuck living underneath a couple with a toddler and another baby on the way (something I might have found out about sooner if I had seen the apartment before signing the lease). My first few days were full of being woken up either in the middle of the night to the sound of crying or at 5:30 am to the sounds of footsteps (not just full on stomping). The apartment walls and floors are very poorly insulated. When I reached out to the office to ask about the rules about noise and if there are quiet hours, I was superficially told about how "everyone has the right to enjoy their apartment" and the neighbors would be told to watch their noise. I was also told that if I complained again, however, I would have to supply a video recording as proof of the noise. My neighbors are still loud a month into me being here and I do not have the energy to engage in a back and forth cycle with the noise complaints. So some feedback for management includes: do not say an apartment is going to be available if the potential resident is not going to be able to see it before they move in, have Comcast service empty apartments if you keep making the technology package mandatory, insulate the floors and walls better, and try not to make new residents feel like they are just another number.

I don't know the name of the lady who I saw in the office today, but she was very rude when I walked in. I tried to drop off my lease letter and as I go in to the office to drop it off, she rudely goes "He's on a phone call" (referring to another employee who I don't have an issue with here). I wasn't loud, rude, or anything like that. I simply walked in to deliver a letter. She was nasty and had a bad attitude. As soon as my lease is over I am out of here. Good riddance.

Nearly all the fire lanes are taken by resident cars, because often there are not enough parking spaces for the residents. Along entrance of the whole complex, almost everyday there are two lanes of cars (obviously only one lane of parking space). Can a large fire truck come through if there is emergency?

Nina and British Home Emporium were godsends! Nina walked us through layout and design choices seamlessly and efficiently. Working in the store was amazing. We were able to select furniture for our new living room, dining room and 2 bedrooms in no time. In addition, to the furnishings, Nina was able to facilitate custom rug and window treatment installations. Finally, Nina and her team were there every step during the delivery and placement of our new furniture. After living in one place for 20 years it is hard to believe that another place could feel like home, but thanks to Nina and British Home Emporium we have moved forward to our next chapter seamlessly!

Complex refuses to give children a proper play area. Can't sit outside without maintenance stalking tenants. Horrible winter upkeep. Clean up does not start till after 9 after when residents and children have already left home. Doesn't maintain sidewalk and stairs free of ice. Etc etc.
