Rosenblum is in Jack London Square surrounded by restaurants, Ferry access, World Market, and other stores. They're tucked away next to the Waterfront hotel. There is street parking and garage parking so it shouldn't be difficult accessing unless there is a large event happening in the area. If you're still trying to keep your distance from other people, you may enjoy the spaced out seating indoors and outdoor. If you are more comfortable sitting outdoor, note that they do not have heaters so come prepared and layer up. Oh and I recommend making reservations if you plan to visit in the early evening (6-7pm ish). Their bubbly is delicious and the variety of cuvée and brut is great. Be mindful that the charcuterie is Al la carte and you get what you pay for meaning you can expect to get a full block of cheese and an entire 5 oz package of crackers. The servers are knowledgeable and helpful but also allow you time to enjoy yourself without hovering. Would visit for a date night or happy hour with friends again, you should too! read more

I stumbled across Rosenblum Cellars while in Oakland recently and had a great experience! I did not have a reservation but was able to instantly sit at the bar area since there was plenty of available seating and I was by myself. They have outdoor patio seating and indoor tables which is based on a reservation. Nice view of the waterfront area in Jack London Square. I ordered the bubbly flight, which was recommended by the bartender. If you like champagne or something sweet, definitely order the Bubbly flight! You will not be disappointed! Rosenblum Cellars is tucked away behind the Oakland Ferry Terminal at the end of Jack London Square. I stopped here for a night cap after having dinner nearby, and it was the perfect way to end my evening. First, let's talk about the location. This spot is prime for those who want to take in the bay views while sipping on some vino. The sunsets are pretty killer as well. During the time that I visited, they weren't doing tastings. I opted for a few glasses instead (they have wine by the glass and bottle for purchase). They'll let you sample the wines before you decide on your glass/bottle. What's nice about this tasting room is that they not only carry wines from their own label, but they also have some other local and foreign wines too. Ended up having a glass of the Garnet Carneros Pinot Noir and the Longevity Chardonnay. The Chardonnay was actually a suggestion from my wine steward that evening, and damn did she put me up on game. This Chardonnay was lip smacking good! Bright, crispy, and citrusy. I really enjoyed it. They have plenty of outdoor patio space with lots of tables for seating. Their indoor area is really chic and cozy. The temperature really drops as the sun goes down. Unfortunately, they don't have heat lamps. You should definitely dress in layers or at least bring a coat if you're planning on coming during the evening time. They're open pretty late which is nice. But when that wind gets to whippin', you'll be freezing your arse off. They have blankets if you get cold. I actually ended up asking for a blanket myself since it was so windy. I hung in there to catch the beautiful sunset, and it was definitely worth it. Service is truly outstanding. All of the wine stewards were friendly and enthusiastic! The vibe is super relaxing and low key. The perfect spot to really unwind or to enjoy some quality time with others. And of course, the view of the bay doesn't hurt one bit. Cute wine bar right on the water in Jack London Square. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. We came on July Fourth weekend without a reservation. The staff were very accommodating in finding us a table quickly. They offered a table outside that was open for about an hour but we were re seated quickly inside to a table that came available for about 2 hours. I ordered the bubbly wine flight ($20) for 4 pours, which is slightly cheaper than my go to wine bar in the South Bay. I mostly ordered the bubbly flight to try the pretty blue sparkling wine, which tasted better than expected and such a pretty color. They do have some small bites, which looked pretty good glancing at the other tables around us. I look forward to coming back and trying some of their food options to enjoy with my wine next time I'm in the area. My husband and I came here one day on a whim. We were walking around jack London and we have seen this place before when catching the ferry to SF but never popped in. Love this place!!! I've been a member since maybe August 2017. I often tell people that joining the wine club was "the best decision of 2017" and I stand behind this statement!!! During non-Pandemic times, this place is poppin'!!! Actually even now, it's still popping during the pandemic. You must make a reservation at least a few days in advance for seating outside. They have a great outdoor setup where they added seating for the pandemic. When it's not a pandemic and we can sit inside, you don't need a reservation and can just walk-in. Rosenblum is right off the ferry so there is a beautiful view of the water and I've seen many sunsets from this place. It would be super convenient because my partner and I would take the ferry from downtown SF after work!!! Highly recommend!! Especially during weekdays BECAUSE... When I say POPPIN, I mean it!!! During normal times, they have so many events during weekdays: trivia on Tuesdays, sips and SAMPLES (this was my FAVE! Miss it.) featuring food samples from local chefs on Wednesdays, and karaoke on Fridays. I've noticed you can also book this place partially or completely for events! Staff is usually pretty nice. I'm recognized by a couple of them because we come here fairly often! The staff has changed a lot during the pandemic but overall everyone is friendly and helpful. Sometimes they're busy so it may take a while to get your bill. Sharon is the homegirl lol she is so fun and friendly, I appreciate her! I love this place and being a member. Being a member means I get a free glass or FLIGHT (the best deal) with every visit for me AND UP TO THREE GUESTS. No limits except I guess one visit per day? I came back for a longer period of time to do a wine tasting. Didn't have an appointment so had to sit inside. I did the bubbly tasting and husband did one of the red tasting. I only really liked the Prosecco of the 4 bubbly's. The other 3 were super sweet. Not really a fan when additives like coloring and more sweetness are added to wines. I never really turn down wines especially bubbly, but couldn't do these ones. Husband's 4 reds tasted good- zinfandels, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. I believe it was called the Rockstar flight. The wine tasting sizes are nice heavy pours too. We had crackers and cheese which were large portions--a chunk of cheese and a bowl full of rosemary crackers. Nice place to enjoy the water view and weather. I'd like to come back when they have music playing. And probably try other wines. read more

Loved everything about the experience here. They have a great ambiance on the inside, but the view from the patio is where it's at. On colder days they have some heaters and blankets for those willing to brave it. I did their red wine flight and loved all of them, and felt it was a reasonable price for the amount and quality of wine. My friends all loved their selections as well, and the employees were amazing with recommendations and checking on us over the couple hours we were there. Driving through the area, I was very concerned that our driver was lost but this wine bar is right on the waterfront in a very modern looking shopping mall. My friend wanted wine and views on a Sunday which brought us here. We didn't have reservations but arrived at 6pm and they were able to seat us outside. (Also let me preface by saying closing hours is 8pm and Warriors were playing.) 1st irk: The male server didn't have a friendly presence and delivered our dishes with what felt like annoyance. Ok, maybe it was busy, I'll let it go. We ordered two flights: Blanca and Bubbly. These two options were perfect for the nice weather. I really enjoyed the Bubbly especially since one was poured in blue-- I call it the adult koolaid. We also ordered the gouda and prosciutto. The presentation was lacking--the prosciutto was stacked with a clear film in between in slice. The gouda was a heaping wedge, no complaints there! 2nd irk: We were taking our time and at 7pm, the servers took away my plate when clearly we still had food on our table. Rude. My friend gave me his plate but I ate from the charcuterie board. 3rd irk: a few minutes later, they came by with mini to go cups for our wine. Umm, why are we being rushed? From 7pm - 8pm, they checked up on us... I should say rushed us at least 5 times. Not only that, they started putting away the lamp shade, chairs, and tables while we were dining. 4th irk: Closing is 8pm but normally, from my experience, restaurants don't kick customers out exactly at closing hours. They asked us if we needed to use the restroom and if not, they're closing. I've never felt rushed or experienced such rude service and this definitely killed the experience. 5 stars for the bubbly, 4 stars for the view, 0 stars for the service. read more

I usually love to come here. I was a member for a year almost two now, until last weekend I canceled my membership. Misconduct took place due to me wanting to ask a simple question after driving over an hour away. I saw the floor sign stating the venue was closed as I stated prior I am a member and the communication is non existent. I didn't know the venue was closed until arrival, you cannot get anyone on the phone and no email was sent to communicate the closure nor can I update contact information from a far. I was rudely pushed out the venue by a staff member stating I shouldn't even be in here when I was already proceeding to leave. This experience was very disappointing. I am still awaiting to see what higher management has to say because I've just gotten its pending investigation if they see fit ramifications will take place. read more

Amazing service and views at this wine tasting room. We were helped by Jocelyn, who did not hesitate to give us the best attention the whole afternoon. Their specialty are Zins, but there are also great chards, rose's, and other reds on the menu. We ended up getting glasses but Jocelyn provided us with a splash of the wines we were considering so that we didn't end up with a huge glass of something we didn't enjoy (thank you!). We saw people getting cheese and thought they had ordered a double serving, but turns out this place gives you $9-12 cheeses that are HUGE blocks. Of course we then decided we couldn't leave without one. Only inside seating was available on a Sunday at 4:30 pm, but we didn't mind given that they had large windows making us feel like we were outside. We gather our things to leave and told one of the other staff members that I was going to complain and Tom said "I don't care email Lisa" and I told him I was not speaking to him and he said it again "email Lisa". I do not appreciate being treated like this as much time and money that I spend at Rosenblum. 5 people at that table were members and I know you will be hearing from them too. I'm not familiar with that concept so I passed. Our meat, cheese and smoked salmon were tasty- huge portions of cheese. Crackers and baguette were standard fare. They were also out of olives, bummer. Eating out has changed as people have slipped, ignoring proper etiquette and consideration for others: there was a guy talking on his cell phone loudly for about 30 minutes. Dude, we don't care to hear your convo-send a text! lol Ambiance is fine, indoor/outdoor options. Quite a pricey late afternoon "girls' dinner", but I will be back once in a while. Really appreciated the staff helping us get a table without a reservation. Such a amazing wines like the Petite Sirah that made me fall back in love with the varietal. Note to management: Whatever it takes, don't let go of Liz!! She's a sincere angel that helped me feel extra comfortable! I'm subtracting a star because the tasting menu is set and they don't allow substitutions, regardless of your membership status. The location is prime being right in Jack London Square, overlooking the estuary. It definitely makes up for the lack of tastings variety! Honestly, the location is the best feature of this place. The SF Ferry dock is maybe 30 steps away which makes after work happy hour super easy if you use the ferry to commute to & from the City. We also tried a salad, the salmon, bread and burrata.
