    Mimosa flight
    Karen C.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our birthdays here and had a good time. I ordered a mimosa flight that was $25. The flight was delicious and was enough to share lol. We're both lightweights. Lol. We had chicken salads and everything was really good! Our server was really sweet but I don't recall her name. The location sits on the marina in Jack London Square right where the ferry docks. Really enjoyed our visit.

Decided to randomly stop here last weekend while in town. We sat outside and the view was stunning. It was such a nice day. We did a red and white flight of wine. The wine was so nice. Bottles are reasonably priced. We also had lunch here. Food was decent. Takes a minute to come out. Staff was friendly enough but not very attentive. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the Jack London area.

Stayed in Walnut Creek and attempted to visit a vineyard but couldn't find any open. Ended up making a reservation here, was pleasantly surprised at the nice view overlooking the bay by the ferry terminal. We sat on the patio and it was perfect weather for a mimosa flight. Loved the red pepper gouda bisque. The mini baguettes and castelvetrano olives were perfect to snack on as we enjoyed the view. Great service and nice ambiance.

Quality/Quantity - I am saddened to write this update. Rosenblum has updated and changed their members' benefits within the last few months. I noticed changes as early as the beginning of this year. And the changes are NOT to my benefit, so I will probably cancel my membership if I have not already canceled it as I post this update. We have been members for years and rarely visit, usually once every 2 months for pick ups or when entertaining. So it should be very profitable for you. We just rejoined the Livermore Wineries who give better benefits, well the same benefits as this winery used to give. Plus now my wife can go outlet shopping; a win/win. Great wines, Kent Rosenblum (RIP 2018) has done an outstanding job with his zinfandels and the current parent company has done an impressive job maintaining the brand until recently. Well, the wines are still good. Atmosphere - Still a beautiful decent size location. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, but of course we come on weekdays and early. Table, high tables, bar seating, etc. Free limited street parking, free for 2-4 hours. Also be careful of car break-ins. Validated garage parking (not free, discounted); see website for specifics. Service - Still 5 stars, good to see some of the regulars still working here. I'm going to miss them. Price - As a member, the first drink is complementary with up to 1 additional guest now. So I guess I have to take all my future guests to our Livermore wineries... Which also means less potential future customers for you as they will sign up as members there instead of here. We spend approximately $50 on snacks + generous tips. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1978. We have been customers since you operated out of that "shack" in Alameda next to the main ferry. We used to love going to your annual events; we sure miss that! 2014 - Moved to this location. 2022 - Welcomed Charlie Tsegeletos to the Rosenblum brand as the new winemaker.

I really enjoy coming to Rosenblum. The space is beautiful, I love that it sits near the water. The staff is always kind and are always on top of things. I do wish that the servers had a little more knowledge about the wine selection. My party and I were asking questions about certain wines, the server did not know. They also did not take the time to ask someone that did.

We came for a birthday celebration right when they opened. Chill vibes with people watching while sitting outside. Good selection of wine and snacks.

I haven't been in, in a while unfortunately. We stopped in on a lovely Sunday afternoon for some wine and snacks, and it did not disappoint! The staff was wonderful, friendly and attentive. The wines we tasted were outstanding. And we have some cheese, olives, hummus and veggie sticks to snack on. Everything was fabulous! If it's a nice day, snag a table on the patio. It was perfect!

I've been here a few times. Service has always been great. I'd recommend making a reservation as they get busy on weekends. There's a 90-minute table limit but you can take your wine to the lawn. They'll give you plastic wine glasses. My favorite aspect is the large, expansive lawn in front of the winery. You can also enjoy a picnic while sipping on delicious wine.

I feel so lucky to have this winery within walking distance of my house. It's in a beautiful location overlooking the bay and makes for a great pitstop before or after taking the ferry. On a sunny day, the patio is bustling and the wine is flowing! My roommate and I love the wine so much that we constantly buy it as gifts for friends. The sommeliers are knowledgeable, friendly, and always up for a chat. A true staple in Jack London Square!

The weather was perfect and it was a fun, engaging experience. They narrate most of the ride out, pointing out significant ships and places along the channel. You pass Alameda, sail over BART, glide under the Bay Bridge, and cruise by Angel Island. If you listen, you will definitely learn something new. The best place to sit or stand is on the right (facing Oakland). I was inside, because I needed to sit, but there was easy access to the back of the boat. I got some great pics. There is also easy access to the snack bar. They have candy, chips, soda, and other snackables. The surprise offering was cup of noodles, which seemed really popular. They did a brisk business the whole trip. The best parts for me were the cranes, seeing the bridge up close, and check your the lighthouse on Angel Island, particularly the cranes. Shout to George Lucas. He claims the cranes weren't the inspiration for the imperial walkers on Hoth. We all know better. Anyway, be prepared to stand in line a bit before boarding (like at least 1/2 an hour), lots of people, and lots of kids. It seemed popular with families. Time seemed approximate. The tour started "late" and ended a bit late. Nothing too obscene, just don't plan anything immediately following. The tours are popular, so sign up early. Again, it's free, and it's pretty delightful. Definitely recommended.

For those who have never been or heard of Eat Real, it is a free event that is a combo of a state fair, food festival, and block party to celebrate good eats, along with bringing awareness to where our food comes from, who grows it, how it is grown, and how to cook it. There were over 50 vendors, and 30 craft beers, wines, cocktails, and nonalcoholic beverages to try! There was also live music and cooking demons, family-friendly activities, and other ticketed culinary experiences. The fiancé and I were able to find street parking nearby, but parking in general around this area is fairly difficult. There were also a lot of people at the event, so unfortunately trying to find a place to sit and eat was challenging. Additionally, lines for some of the food trucks were extremely long. This limited the foods we wanted to try out. Despite all that, the fiancé and I enjoyed the festival as first timers. It was a nice to check out the different vendors and learn about their mission. However, I would take a pass next year.
