I was going to ask them if they can deliver them on on Monday 4/5 but right away they said they would deliver them that same afternoon! I was surprised I could get same day delivery. My wife & I recently moved to Grand Island, NE from San Diego County, CA and have been in search of a "quaint" customer-friendly flower shop. After introducing myself as new to the community, I was introduced to Judy the owner. Upon meeting Judy she enthusiastically introduced me to other long-term employees and kindly explained the history of the shop. The activity and energy in the shop is intoxicating and will draw you in. I pre-ordered Valentines flowers for my sweetheart and upon returning to pick them up, I was instantly recognized and greeted by name after having met the staff only once! The floral arrangement was beautiful and the flowers appear to be fresh and vibrant. We intend to make "Roses for You" our flower shop and highly recommend! read more

I called to have flowers sent to her for her birthday and my first question was based on the name, "do you only carry roses"? Lucky for me the answer was "no"! Today is my son's 18th birthday and I decided to send him a balloon bouquet at the last minute. I called Roses For You at 8:00 a.m. and the woman I spoke to was super nice, very helpful and said she could have a bouquet put together and delivered to my son at school by lunchtime. I recently needed a funeral arrangement and being out of state relied upon both Yelp and intuition. My call to Roses for You was met with a very helpful young woman who took the stress out of my ordering experience. She offered to check with the church for visitation, funeral time, etc.. I was reasonably clear on some of what I wanted my arrangement to look like and this florist over-delivered. The arrangement was simply outstanding. Gorgeous flowers all the way around. I ordered some roses for my mother since it is her birthday today. Since I live out of state I ordered them so they could be delivered. I receive a phone call saying they can't find the house and they would deliver them if I give them the right address or I go pick it up. I made sure this was the right address before ordering and I told the lady that was the address she starts raising her voice saying her driver wasn't going to go look for the place if I don't give her the address. She put me through with the driver, as soon as the driver answers he is is basically yelling saying there is no house with that address, to look it up on my phone. I was in google maps literally shows the house. This was the worst experience never ordering from here again. Did I receive a phone call apologizing for the mix up? No. No customer service. Not professional yelling at customers when it's not the customers fault. The address was correct BTW. read more

Recently married, I took in my wedding bouquet, my hair piece, groom's boutonnière, and some other trinkets to be arranged in a large shadow box. My grandma had done the arrangement and had hand painted a lot of the filler, I wanted a special way to preserve it. I explained what I wanted, showed exemplary photos and was quoted "less than $75." The florist promised to call for me to help her with design before glueing everything down. A week after the promised finish date, I called to see how progress was. They told me it was finished and would cost "about $100."Anxious, I went in. It wasn't at all what I had asked for, a mediocre piece that would have fallen apart in no time- even the glueing job was poor. I explained that it wasn't what I was looking for and was disappointed that they hadn't called to work on the arrangement as promised. The conversation quickly got heated. The florist yelled at me, told me there was no other way to have done it, and I reminded her she should have just called me. Finally she tossed the shadow box across the counter at me, told me to "just take it, I don't want to see it anymore." I gathered my things, and wished her s good rest of her day as I walked out. And as I reached for the door I heard her say "what a bitch." Never going back. read more

The flowers that were ordered for me for Mothers day in Grand Island, NE should have been gorgeous. They cost about $100.00 and the picture of what I was suppose to get was beautiful, but most of the flowers in the bouquet were already wilting when they arrived. My daughter who came from out of town saw what came and was embarrassed and disappointed by what came. She called the company and they replaced them immediately with a dozen roses they already had made up in orange- no choice of color - but they were pretty. I noticed immediately that most of the rose smell was nonexistent like they had been refrigerated and were not fresh but the big disappointment came 3 days later when all the roses were already wilting, losing petals and bent over and I had to remove them to preserve what I could of the remaining filler flowers in the bouquet. The bouquet didn't last 3 days which was disappointing especially considering the cost. I would recommend not ever sending flowers from this place. It was a gift and I hate to complain but this was the worst experience I ever had with a florist. read more
