Waited 0ver 30 minutes to make a simple 1 item return!!! The cashier was great but she had to call for a manager 5 times before anyone came to help me. I will not shop here again! read more

I've known the Roses brand since I was a child, so shopping at one of their locations is nostalgic for me...brings back memories of my mom. Unfortunately, this location isn't very impressive. The pluses: - really, really inexpensive - wide range of products (yard furniture to food items) - can find some good bargains (Wrangler jeans for $10) The minuses: - buyer beware: some of the items are poorly made and don't last - the entire store is stuffed with stuff, making it difficult to maneuver - it's messy...and dusty... - the bathrooms are "iffy" The shopping experience here could be improved by simply keeping the store neat, clean and less claustrophobically crammed with products. This shopping center seems to be going through a transformation, with a new retail tenant (TJ Maxx) recently opening. If Roses doesn't up its game, it won't last. read more

This place is horrible! I've been in this store several times, given the store many chances (now my last) and it's always the same bad attitudes, substandard products, dirty & trashed. I've seen humans in slow motion before, but this place is where they go when they wind on down and are no longer human on any scale. Employees are rude and at the bottom of the barrel with their condescending/discriminatory attitudes (hey, you're stuck working there, not me). If they hate their jobs that much they need to quit, but I suppose Roses is their last resort based on the overall store qualities and acceptance of garbage. Most of the items they sell are "disposable" because they don't last more than one use or just long enough not to be able to return. It seems what the brand names toss out, Roses dumpster dives and puts in this store. Maybe that's why the employees have such lousy attitudes? Too much dumpster diving, lol. Remember if it seems to good to be true, it is! Example...so many, which to choose? Ok. Don't ever buy those multi piece bedding sets. They start disintegrating within 72 hours. They claim they're worth $149.99 but I'm sure they meant 149 point 99 pennies (1.50 rounded up) and definitely not dollars. They weren't even nice enough to donate to a thrift store after one short use in a home without kids. If you are drawn to people with the worst attitudes possible and also love dumpster diving this store might be for you. If you like even the most common of courtesies, well priced, dependable clothing and other items this is most definitely not the place to use up any moments of your life! read more

There are pluses and minuses. The minus is that the pants and jeans aren't sized well. I tried on a size 14 that fit like a size 4. And then tried on a size 10 that fit like a size 16. The plus is that there are some good-brand clothes (like Express) that are dirt cheap. Some true gems can be found **if** you're willing to dig through stuff. read more

Went in today for one thing and ended up with 2 arms full of items. Went to the first checkout, she said she was closing and sent me to the other on by the customer service desk. There were several of us waiting to checkout, but the girl working wasn't checking anyone out. She was braiding her hair while the line waited for her to finish braiding her hair. I put the 2 arms full of merchandise down and walked out. Went to Walmart and paid less and there was plenty of people there at the registers to check me out. Roses always has one open with a long line and in this case the girl working the register was too busy braiding her hair to check the customers out. I won't be coming back. It's bad customer service when you have the wait for the girl at the register to braid her hair before she will check customers out. read more

My wife and I are visiting from Augusta,GA and we have never heard of this chain before so we went in just to check it out. It reminds me of something like a big lots. They had a lot of quality things and some not so quality but the prices are unbeatable. We got a 12 pack of dog bones, cow knuckle for 4 bucks these normally cost 3-4 per one. I would recommend checking this place out if you are in town and need some things for your cabin rental. read more

I shopped at Roses for years in Macon Ga. and it was nice, but the one in Blue Ridge has more and better merchandise. The prices can't be beat. read more
