Would not recommend. Came to clean up my eyebrows and add some shape. Had an appointment. I waited 15 minutes for the person to be done ahead of me and then she asked what I would like done. I said to clean up but not to make it thin. She ended up doing my eyebrows super fast instead of doing one eyebrow and then showing you, then doing the next one. She thinned them out so much there was no way to recover. She asked me if I liked it and it was just so awkward with the next person waiting in the chair. I just paid and left. My husband was like wtf when he saw my eyebrows when I got home lol gosh. read more

I live in Modesto. I found Roshni Beautycare when I used to work in Manteca. I had not found a good and reliable esthetician before this. At my first appointment, I was amazed that I was literally in and out within 15 minutes (for a Brazilian wax). It was relatively painless, and I felt "clean" after, without so much sticky residue that some estheticians leave behind. When I began working in Modesto, I stopped going to Hardeep, and tried a few local places. One never returned my messages, and I made an appt with the other, which was a TERRIBLE experience... so much so, I had to leave in the middle of my service. A month or so later, I booked with Hardeep again. This time, she did my arms, legs, underarms, and Brazilian (I came prepared! ). Again, relatively painless (and I was more appreciative after my experience in Modesto!), and the pricing for all of that was 3/4 of what the Modesto salon was going to charge me. Hardeep does a very good job. I am really picky about who threads my brows and she's the only one I trust in the Central Valley. Her low prices are also a plus! Update: a little over a year later I find myself still coming here. Most people become complacent with their customers who have become a regular. I'm surprised I haven't written a review for Roshni Beautycare before. This place is a gem. I recently moved back and I really am happy because Hardeep knows exactly how to do my eyebrows. Honestly, I'm not sure if that's her name, but that's what I'm seeing on everyone else's reviews. It's a little funny how I never asked what her name was and we actually can hold a conversation! I love that this is based out of her own house. The house is gorgeous, by the way. You can literally park on the public street and there's always parking nearby. You're only there for a maximum of 30 minutes so you'll be fine parking in front of someone else's house. It's public anyways, haha! I came back yesterday and that was the first time in two years since I've seen Hardeep. It's funny because I was going to ask her if she remembered me, but before I even got to, she was like, "It's been so long since I've seen you!" In my head I was like, "OMG GIRRRRRL" Honestly, that's the key to keeping clientele. Having that rapport with your clients. It makes them feel special, you know? When she remembered me, that really made my day! I got my whole face threaded- Hurt like crazy! I haven't had a full face thread in quite a while so it was just pain. Tolerable though. Her prices really cannot be beat. Especially how thorough she is. Hardeep made sure that every speck of hair was off my face. I was pretty hairy too. I had a 5 o'clock shadow.. Embarrassing, I know! The one thing that I didn't quite like was how I felt kind of rushed during the session. Maybe she was going fast because she didn't want me to be in a lot of pain, but then another lady came and I feel like they were both just waiting for me to be out the door LOL. On top of that, my appointment was originally at 4:45 and she didn't see me until about 15 minutes after. I was really patient though. It's all good though.. like I said, she was very thorough. I just don't like feeling rushed. I was reading about how she isn't quite talkative, but I'd like to say otherwise. This review is long overdue. I've been coming to Hardeep for about 2 years and I've been a very happy customer. Hardeep is a God send. If I ever move out of the area I will drive to come to her! My eyebrows are always exactly how I want them, she works quickly, easy to book appointments (I text), friendly (not extremely talkative), and you can't beat her prices anywhere. I've had my eyebrows threaded, various waxes, and facials with massage. She is amazing! Heads up, her business is in her home (Home is easy to find. My brows were done good--- fast and clean. However, i didn't find the lady who did the job friendly at all. She never introduced herself (but i heard the customer before me said Roshni), she never asked for my name either. No pleasantries even when it was my turn to be given service BUT she talked non- stop to the customer waiting after me while doing my brows---- in their language. I find that rude. When she finished, i paid and left quickly. I had tons of questions about the facial services but after one question i charged out of the room because i really find it rude that she was still talking to the customer after me as soon as she answered my question. Works out of her home but don't be scared because this lady knows what she's doing. The lady who does the eyebrows is a bit monotone but she cleans up eyebrows really well and arches it just perfect. Her salon is inside of her house, but once you walk into the small salon room you kind of feel like you're in a mini salon which I thought was really cool. I have been going here to have my eyebrows done many times. It is a beauty salon run of a home. Don't be scared... she is fully licensed and the shop is really a salon inside the 1st room in the house. I have only seen her for threading of my eyebrows and she does and awesome job. I have been to the places in the mall who charge twice as much and do a terrible job. She threads, trims, and tweezes if necessary. She is very quick and she tries to make it as comfortable as possible. If you have never had threading done before, I highly recommend it. In comparison to waxing it is much better for your skin and quicker than tweezing. read more
