My friends and I wanted to try a breakfast venue. After some research Rosi had great reviews. We did sleep in, It was great that they served breakfast until 4pm. When we arrived, I loved the interior of the venue. It looked like to could've been a lounge in the past. There was a breakfast item that was for 2 people it included a salmon omelette, a crossaint with berries, cheese, fruit, meat slices and 2 glasses of prosecco. It was a great deal and a lot of food. I wish there were some crackers for the cheese. The service was great. It is a place I would go back to. The restrooms were clean.

This restaurant was our first stop in Munich, conveniently located near our hotel. We ordered breakfast and were pretty much the only ones there, enjoying a big table by a large window. I had potatoes with eggs and bacon, while my partner had muesli. Both dishes were delicious. My favorite part was the orange marmalade and bread basket that came with my breakfast. The service was great, and the place had a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

A wonderful cozy stop for a mid morning breakfast, or early lunch depending on the time you show up! Have a hot cup of kaffee, with a drop of cream is how I like it, or maybe a beer, this is Germany! The service here is excellent, and please don't stress the waitresses out by expecting them to speak perfect English, they try and I tried some German as well! The food was delivered quickly and steaming hot, with a delicious basket of assorted breads for the table. Don't be unnerved by the color of your egg yolks, that is the proof of their freshness, and if you order (Weisswurst) white sausage, it just might be in what looks like a soup terrine of hot water because it is boiled! If you are a fan of breakfast skillets, try the Deftig, a mix of fried potatoes with onions, bacon, cheese and eggs. It comes with more fabulous bread and a small pot of butter and berry jam, superb! Prices are very reasonable, a full breakfast will cost between 10-15 depending on your order and drink. The attitudes around tipping vary depending on where you are, while tipping isn't always expected in certain spaces, it is always greatly appreciated! Remember, if you are visiting during Oktoberfest, millions of tourists are in town as well, so make sure you are treating the service staff everywhere with a bit of compassion for the crowds, and always with respect! So if you ever find yourself in Munich City Centre, drop in and enjoy breakfast, lunch, or even dinner at Rosi Kaffeehaus and don't forget to tell them The Unnerved Traveler sent you! Super cute and cozy atmosphere here with friendly staff. We stumbled upon this place for breakfast as it was near our hotel and were surprised at how packed it was. We were seated at the bar since there were no other seats but that was perfectly fine. We had omelette and caffe lattes, the coffee was very good and so was the food. Complementary bread was also a nice addition. Nice spot for breakfast!

The cutest bar/restaurant with the best bartender. Superb drinks. Fantastic location.

Gesund breakfast - avocado toast, fried eggs, granola with yogurt and berries and big latte.

We went to Rosi for breakfast, and we really enjoyed this place. The ambience, decoration and service are great! The place looks modern and has great food options. We had the Gesund breakfast -- which came with an avocado toast, eggs, granola + yogurt and green smoothie. The latte was very good as well. Highly recommended if you are visiting Munchen and on your way to the city. Service is fast and they speak English.

    Chai latte

Absolutely delicious! The perfect breakfast to start our day of exploring Munich... and well-worth the 25 minute walk. Waitstaff was kind and helpful, restaurant was beautiful, and right near the river. I ordered a chai latte, and it was one of the best chais I've ever had. Einfach breakfast was a hit, and was a great chance to try a traditional German breakfast. Deftig was absolutely delicious and a ton of food! Omelettes are HUGE and probably enough for 2. Waitstaff was patient and fulfilled all of our requests. Can't recommend enough!!

Quick service and tasty food. Luckily they we're able to squeeze us in even though we were trying to eat as a family of 4 on a Saturday night. I really liked their kartoffelsalad, interesting with the extra additions.

    Kaiserschmarr'n

Great atmosphere after a long flight to Munich. Staff was friendly. Music was good, food was excellent and don't forget to order the Kaiserschmarr'n early!

Great ambience, and wonderful service. Great drink selection, and cool variety. Plenty selection of dishes, and good variety. The food, delicious!!

Amazing brunch place offering such a wide variety of great options! I loved that they had a whole dedicated vegan menu as well. Among the 4 of us, 2 ordered the vegan options and 2 none and everyone agreed the vegan food was a LOT better (Powerfrühstück and Bsonders Gesund). Coffee was good as well. Service was fast.

So happy I found this place…read more Located a hop, skip and a jump from Rosenheimer Platz, this place was my savior after a day at the Wiesn. Having had my fill of beer, I just wanted a glass of seltzer (or mineral water or whatever you choose to call it). Now, don't get me wrong, I love Germany but everywhere they seem to serve water in tiny glasses. I wanted a giant glass of water...and the awesome bartender set me up with a half liter glass full of sparkling water. So I had my water, which helped a lot and now I needed food. Luckily, even in my state I was able to read the menu and see they had a cheeseburger and fries platter. I know, not Bavarian but at that point, all I'd had all day since breakfast was one of these ginormous pretzels and the skin off of some roast chicken. The food was tasty (as far as I can recall) and it really helped getting some food on my tummy. Aside from the water and food, what made this place great was the service. The bartender, whose name I regret that I didn't get, was amazing. She was so nice and friendly and really took care of me. I'm sure I looked like another tipsy American tourist but she was a sweetheart. She had short hair and glasses and maybe some tattoos. Anyway, she's the real deal. There was some music that was nice too. Overall, a nice, friendly, clean and welcoming place. To be frank, it can be intimidating to enter a big German beer hall by yourself because it seems everyone knows one another and you're an outsider. Coming here was the exact opposite...I felt welcome right away. Definitely recommend this place!

I'd give four stars for the food and beverage, and zero stars for the service…read more We really just wanted to find a local pub to post up at, with a good beer list and maybe a small selection of nibbles. Munich has no shortage of beer halls, and a wide variety of restaurants, but we wanted a pub. A no-frills, come-as-you-are pub. The Royal Dolores was supposed to be that. It can be a bit tricky to find, if you come in the wrong door (which we did). Luckily, the nice man at the host stand walked us to the entrance of the Dolores, and told the waitress in the doorway that we were looking for a table. She got us squared away fairly quickly, which we appreciated. We were at one of the tables by the door, and it was warm. It was such a good start, but it all went downhill from there. We were seated at about the same time as a family of four, who were given the table next to us. We both placed orders at about the same time, and we both spent the rest of our evenings trying (and failing) to flag down the waitress. We each ordered a Löwenbräu Dunkel to start, and decided to share two of their tapas plates: the Dream of Schnitzel and the Fromage de France. I lost track of the amount of time it took for our beers to be delivered to our table, and stopped trying to track time when it came to the food. The Dolores isn't very big, and they weren't all that busy when we got there, so we were at a loss as to why the service was so bad. At one point, the mom at the table next to us leaned over to ask for our help flagging down the waitress, if we saw her before they did. The Dunkel wasn't that great - it had the flat flavor that always reminds me of a brown ale, though this draft did have just a tiny bit more flavor. My husband didn't really like the beer at all. He had planned on ordering a different beer to finish the night, but with the aforementioned missing waitress, it was impossible to do. The Schnitzel was delightful, and the cheeses were good (the sauces they served with the cheeses stole the show, to be honest). I wasn't particularly hungry at the time, but my husband wanted something to nibble on while we reclined and drank - that was the plan when we arrived, at least. I know we weren't the only ones bothered by the terrible service - the family next to us made it a point to tell the person who finally stopped to help us - not our waitress, by the way - about the amount of time it took for us all to receive our orders, and the fact that we were ignored the entire evening. It's unfortunate, too, because we both really wanted to like the Dolores, just given its location and the fact that it was the closest thing to a pub we could find at that time. It really only takes one thing to ruin a night for people, though.
