I find Ross a bit less enticing than a Home Goods or TJ Maxx, but I still like to go in and check out their home accents. Every time I drive by one, I like to explore their offerings and see what they have to offer. I looked on yelp because I was drawing a blank where Ross was located in Aventura. I saw lots of 1 star reviews from fellow yelpers. I should have known, but I figured I would give it a try anyhow. Wow this place is chaos none of the clothes are in the correct sizes. I looked in the Small section and 80 percent of the items were not size Small. I definitely will not go back to this Ross. I will stick with the one at Midtown which is 100 times better, and cleaner ! read more

This store had a surprising large assortment of business attire and shoes. The selection of toys were a dream come true I was able to find more than enough gift ideas for the children on my list for both girls and boys. That's terrific! However with all the guests on the store there was surprising one available on the floor to answer any questions you may have and the restrooms have got to be one of the most gross in all of Dade county that I've been to. The overwhelming odor of filth and urine was more than I could bare and there was dirty toilet paper piled up in several areas throughout. An associate on duty even came In to use the facilities and I made reference to the less than tidy conditions and she smiled then walked out. They've got to do better!!! read more

Mom and I are always disappointed with Ross, but we were in aventura and decided to see how the aventura location was in hopes that it would be better than the others in the area. Guess again. We walked into the store and turned right around and walked out, we didn't even make it more than a foot in. The floor looked like it hadn't been swept in over a month, and within that month, a tornado hit. Leaves were EVERYWHERE, the floor was filthy, and from the door you could see the entire store was in disarray. Do yourself a favor & go to TJ MAXX or Marshall's instead, save yourself a wasted trip here. read more

This has to be the worst Ross I have ever been to. As a party planner and caterer I frequent Ross for props and decor items and honestly, this place is gross. This store is a liability nightmare. There are clothes, shoes, luggage and merchandise scattered on the floor and throughout the store causing trip hazards and the use of a shopping cart is almost impossible. I had to use the restroom and was so completely grossed out that I left and went to the Dick's Sporting Goods next door. Red Caution taped bathrooms, toilet paper all over the floor, no paper towels or soap in dispensers. This is disgusting. The signs advising their staff to that they must wash their hands is comical, as there is no soap or hot water to do so. No thanks...I for sure will never ever be back to this particular Ross. Better off at Marshall's, TJMaxx and HomeGoods! Ross Management, you should seriously review policies and procedures with this location. It is a disgrace. read more

The customer service was awful. I had three shirts I went to the fitting room to try on that dud not have a hanger. The lady manning the fitting room insisted rudely to bring in the hangers. When I explained I didnt have them not did the shirts come with them she refused to allow me into the fitting room. I went to TJ Max and bought shirts instead there. Ross lost my business read more

This is a great place to pick up good items for a good price. I usually only go here for things like flip flops and kids throw-away type shoes. This recent visit, needed to get my son some shoes for a field trip (where he will get wet) and was planning on hitting both sports authority and Ross. We went into Ross to see if there was anything that he liked and that would fit him. There was. Long story short, we ended up getting 3 pairs of shoes for a price that we would normally get 1 pair at another store. My only gripe with the shoes is that they are cabled together, so you cant really walk and test them out, but they do offer returns. read more

Ugh! Only go here is you entered a contest and lost and this was the "reward" for last place. It's dirty; the employees are awful, and the racks are jammed packed. It's impossible to look at any clothes without pulling out 4-5 other clothes. I never understood why people don't pick up clothes that they drop on the floor. I regret to say that I now understand why that is. After the fifth or sixth time of me pulling out 4 other clothes when pulling out one to look at, I'm ashamed to admit that I too left it on the floor. I hate myself for stooping so low (or rather not stooping so low, i guess). I like myself too much to become someone I hate again, so I'll never walk into this store again. On a much more upbeat note, I'm proud to say that after much rehab and therapy, I'm back to picking up any clothes or litter that i see, even if it's not mine! One world, people. Years ago I came in here and found Polo Shirts at a very good price, but not anymore. This dump is the high fashion spot for acrylicware. Yuck, if you want to perspire in Miami then come on in and grab some nylon shirts, pants, underware, in fact everything in this rip off joint in the way of garments in synthetic and as I read the lables, MADE IN CHINA. If it doesn't bother you to have money lifted right out of your pocket then come on in and DRESS FOR LESS. The messiest and dirtiest store I have ever visited and I usually shop a lot at Ross all around Miami and Los Angeles. The manager in charge should be ashamed and replaced immediately. It is really disgusting to see trampled clothes on the floor among broken hangers, dust and dirt, especially in the underwear section. I am aware that some customers are careless and misbehave, but there should be associates to clean up. I am crossing this particular store off my shopping list! read more

This store was full of RUDE customers letting their children run rampant through the aisles and people who step in front of you without excuse as youre looking at items. After spending 30 minutes in the fitting room making my selections, I was on my way out and stopped to try on an outdoor jacket over my clothing.... I tried on one and only one jacket and as I was trying it on, some ratchet manager walked by and scolded me and told me I needed to try things on in the fitting room even when i told her it was a jacket she repeated herself and spoke to me in a degrading way. Lines generally aren't long, store is the same as any other ross, cheap prices, but you gotta look through everything. you're paying a fraction of the price of retail, don't complain that its messy and that you can't find your size etc. read more

This place is awful. Too much merchandise, too little staff. You could spend hours trolling the place picking up great bargains (like a nice ladies blouse in your size in the middle of men's suits) but then just LOSE it all when you have to wait a half hour for checkout. Never no more! read more

Giving this store one star is actually a gift. This star deserves a -5 stars. This is the most unorganized store I've ever seen in my life. The lines are unorganized even the cashiers are unorganized. I went here recently and the line was filled with about 25 people. Then the not so bright cashiers said anyone using a debit card come to line 3. So that cause lots of people from the back of the line to rush to the front of the line. While people in the front of the line had to wait longer even though many of them we're using debit cards. My advice to you would be avoid this place if possible. It is not worth it. read more

I went on Sunday 2/10/2019, to do some affordable shopping,but customer service was a big turn off, I saw a beautiful silver bracelet in jewelry department ask the male security for some help it took 30 minutes before someone could come to assist me, the security guy kept calling but no one came finally when the cashier decided to come assist me, she said she is the supervisor and everyone is on break!!! Wow, then they called the manager Alexander, who just came to ask me what's the problem after all this I was so turned off I was not interested in the jewelry anymore, but I still went to help myself with other goods when I was ready to check out I notice they called the female security to come and stand by... so now I'm some type of a problem to them, thanks to manager Alexander for calling security, when you don't know how to be a manager. Very bad experience, next time I'll take my shopping to TJmax, way better customer service. read more

Went to new Ross store that opened just last week in the new mall in Miami Gardens located at Miami Gardens Drive (NW 183rd St.) and 27th Avenue in Miami-Dade County. Was very impressed by large selection of high quality clothing and non-clothing items at excellent prices. After choosing a few new dress shirts and making sure all of them were my size, I went to check out. There were at least 10 people in the line but only one cashier open out of the seven stations. There were two other cashiers behind the desk so after waiting around 15 minutes to move up only 3 places, I was in position to ask one of them if they could open up more cash registers positions, the other one replied to me, "Can't you see that we are busy, just wait your turn." I just left the 5 shirts in my shopping cart because I was surrounded by other customers and could not move it. Then I walked out and went a couple of stores down the mall to Marshall's where they also had nice selection of shirts plus staff that was willing to be friendly and efficient at collecting money.
