Decent store that's kept mostly clean and organized-ish. Good prices and always had a good experience with the cashiers. Their security is really weird and funny though because they stand right by the cash register and watch you check out but then ALSO make you get your receipt checked and marked... meanwhile they literally just watched you check out. Only negative I have to say about this store is that it seems like there's ALWAYS a line and only 1-2 cashiers open. When you see there's 30+ people standing and waiting and you guys got 3+ more employees in the back just hanging out or talking, have them come man the registers. read more

My sister and I were checking out. The checkout clerk snapped at me to "get back behind the line and wait!" while my sister checked out ahead of me. I haven't been treated so rudely in a long time. When my turn came, she stared at me and said, "Next!" Then she refused to look me in the eye. As we left the store, the security guard asked how we were, and I told him how rude she was and needed a new attitude. To that, she yelled, "Not today, Karen!" Pretty picked through on my visit. Still love the chain. It is that time of year where the lines are long and there are few employees nice managers, nice and fordable clothes the prices were amazing and everyone were very nice while waiting. I was able to find a last minute dress and top at a reasonable price. I will return. read more

Terrible Ross, there is stains on clothes, open toys, and just overall trash. It's in a bad location.

The security guard does anything but make you feel secure. She is rude and obnoxious. She snaps at customers who ask her questions as if customer service is beneath her. The LAST time I shopped there they had only one register open with a long line of customers. She was joking around with an employee who was shopping on her break and standing at the back of the line. As a second cashier opened an additional register, the security guard escorted the off duty employee to the front of the line. As the cashier signaled for me to approach her, both the security guard and the employee ignored me as I said, "excuse me, I am next". The cashier just went along with them as they all ignored me. read more

Ross is basically like a T.J. Maxx. You'll find all sorts of items for men, women, kids, and your home for much cheaper that what you'd find at the mall. Gotta love that! I found a cute pair of heels for under $25 that were normally $60, and I have to tell you, I bought them four years ago and they're still kickin'. So, you'll find some quality items. read more

I just shopped at Ross today. They had a great selection of holiday dresses (I bought 4). Huge selection of scarves (I bought 2).They also had a very nice, full Christmas selection. I visited the Ross located at 2265 N Germantown PkwyCordova, TN 38016 United States on 07/15/2020 at approximately 2:26pm. I entered the store with my daughter and the security alarm sounded. There was a female black (masculine features) with a loss prevention shirt on standing at the door cleaning baskets. She did not say anything to us regarding the alarm sounding as we walked in. We shopped around the store and ran across the same employee, she appeared to be upset that a elderly lady in a wheelchair was in her way apparently keeping her from doing her rounds (she stated this very loudly). I proceed with shopping and made my way to the check out register. I checked out without problems. As my daughter and I exited the store with our bags the alarm sounded again. The same loss prevention employee was standing at the door and did not say anything as we walked out she look right at us. Seconds later the same employees is walking behind us and we thought she was trying to check our bags. She screams at us that we were suppose to stop inside of the store and she is off of work. (Very Rude) When we walked out of the store there was nobody but her standing at the exit. This employee was very rude and unprofessional and apparently didn't want to do her job. Not to mention talking so reckless to a elderly handicap customer. read more

This Ross is disgusting. Last night when I went in to pick up a couple t-shirts, I found a giant, clumpy glob of what appeared to be menstrual blood on the fitting room bench. The large, handicap-accessible fitting room closest to the door. The fitting room that everyone wants to use. It was as though someone had shed their pants and sat down on the bench with the intention of causing as much of a mess as possible, and that's not even the worst part. The worst part is that when I approached a cashier and tried to tell him there was a situation which required a manager, he straight up ignored me! Not even a glance, not even a nod - he just didn't seem to realize I was a human being who was speaking to him. I then told a manager and she actually got an attitude about it! She raised her eyebrow and said "well, we don't have a janitor on staff, sooo..." REALLY? You're going to leave a puddle of period blood in the fitting room with the highest traffic? I hope for your sake somebody's kid doesn't decide to run in there and play in it. Truly a foul store run by people who obviously couldn't care less. I am not going back, because I'd rather not get hepatitis C or something worse from the changing room. read more

Beware!!!!! They steal your money!!!!! I was charged $6.99 for a decor sign I did not buy! Horrible customer service is absolutely no help and just basically blew me off. I even contacted corporate and no response. After not being able to sell me an item because it had no price tag then forgetting to ring up an item, I got charged for an item that was sitting next to the register whether intentional or not and didn't realize until I got home. Well I called and was told sorry, nothing I can do unless I come in tonight, well they were going to be closed by the time I got there.......let's just say they won't be winning any customer service awards anytime soon! read more

I love Ross in general, but as Ross stores go, the customer service here is not great. On one particular visit, I felt bad about asking to see some jewelry in the case because it was clear the employee did not want to interact with customers. What irks me the most though is when I hear a large amount of jovial laughter when the employees are interacting amongst each other. I figure everyone has bad days right? But when I see his immediate change to positive attitude when going from customer to coworker, it's clear that he just was not interested in dealing with customers... read more

I love Ross! I fell in love with this store when I visited TX. Growing up in NYC, I've never heard of Ross,so I am very happy to find locations here in TN. Ross is very similar to a Marshall's or TJ-Max. The big thing about Ross is there dress selection. Now that it's summertime, I like shopping there to find cute and affordable summer dresses. The selection at this particular store was pretty good as I was able to get some cute stuff. Plus, the store was organized and the staff was very helpful. read more

I usually love shopping at Ross... I even got a part time job there during grad school and took advantage of the employee discount. However, this particular store, while clean and usually merchandised well ,disappoints almost every time I go. Either everyone else is beating me to the punch or they don't turn over their merchandise very much. The shoe racks consist of slim pickings and the clearance ranks have had the same old damaged stuff hanging for months on end. Other locations seem to have more variety and more items made by better name labels. I will probably still stop in looking for bargains, but I've been disappointed so many times in the past year that I am not getting my hopes up. On the plus side, I have chatted with the manager while shopping and he was very nice as were most of the employees. read more

I loove this Ross!! I bought a lot of Christmas toys that I would have paid double for at Toys r Us or Walmart and Target. Was a little junky, but its the holidays, what store are you not going to find junky??.....have to go back and get some killer boots they had!! Worst customer service I've ever experienced. For years I have shopped at Ross & returned things that have broken with no issue. Today was not the case, I bought a pair of sandals a few days ago. I wore them TWICE, & the strap completely broke off making then unable to wear. While trying to return them the girl proceeded to tell me I couldn't return them even though I had the receipt. She said you cannot return things that have been worn. Not only that, but she wouldn't even give me store credit or exchange them. She was also very disrespectful & degrading. This is one of those stores I run into when I have a few minutes to kill or just out and about. Depending on what I'm looking for occasionally I have some luck. In my experience if your looking for home goods ( i.e.: decor, bedding, rugs and even dinnerware) you'll probably find something. Clothing ... They have oodles of it, but iv only found maybe two-three items in this section that iv actually liked. It's alright. It's a hit or miss, selection/clothing wise. At times they will have the same dress, shirt, etc. on every isle in every size imaginable. .... or just one of them. Besides that, I go in there for great deals on clothing all of the time. But you have to make sure that you're not paying an arm and a leg for poor quality of clothing. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely GREAT deals in there, but you just have to have an eye for them. :) The ladies at the dressing room are typically rude, but a couple of visits ago I encountered a truly amazing, kind woman. Not to mention the CASHIERS ARE INCREDIBLY SLOW... The song, "Any Day Now" by Ronnie Milsap comes on in my head every.single.time I am walking towards the check out lane. They usually have one, MAYBE 2 Cashiers (if you're lucky). There are ALWAYS tons of people lined up at the check-out. Always. So just be ready to be calm, cool, and collected when you go in there. The "MANAGER NICOLE" is a horrible manager! This lady decided she was going to follow my boyfriend (he is a grown man) and my brother. The fact that she just decided to pick on someone because she said "I'm the manager". She said my brother damage property && he was playing with the dang tape. So she made my brother and boyfriend go to the register to pay for it. && told one of her employees that she "caught one". So she said they damage the box to "I caught one". She is so unprofessional! Why would a grown adult && teenage boy still a dang NERF gun that was like $8?! Then when I went to get a different size outfit for my daughter. I saw her talking to one of her employees && she saw me (Nicole) and said something && they went different ways. So that right there told me she was talking about them (boyfriend && brother).
