Was very disappointed that this particular Ross had no maternity section. Very low selection on kid clothes too.

I love this little store! The other day I had wall sconces on my mind but, as usual, when you're…read moreactually looking for something, it can be rather hard to find. I wanted sconces that would hold taper candles, not the electric sort that leave you having to hide the trailing cord. So I decide to run to Sweet Magnolia to replace a candle that had recently burnt out completely when, lo and behold!, there is the most gorgeous pair of gold-leafed wall sconces hanging right before my eyes! This is why I love Sweet Magnolia - you can find such elegant pieces here when you least expect it. I also appreciate that their prices don't put a huge dent in your wallet. $58 for the pair? I'll take them! The store also carries the greatest soy candles ever by Aquiesse which last a rather long time and come in several delightful fragrances. They also carry an array of other home goods - Forte teas, place settings, bath and body products, stationery, baby gifts, and jewelry. Definitely a great little shop for finding last minute gifts or a treat for yourself. I've seen similar items at other stores like Anthropologie for twice the price, so why not patronize a local entrepreneur instead?

Whenever I need a little gift for someone (or myself) I know I can find it! To top it off she's really friendly, and always up for a chat. It is really nice to be able to shop local and we are lucky we have a boutique like Sweet Magnolia in the neighborhood.

Heirloom is a small, eclectic mix of the shop's own line of porcelain tableware, antique and vintage finds, and other treasures. Their porcelain products really caught my eye as they have and entire line of pieces modeled off of berry and peach baskets. I picked up a set of small cups that resemble the little peat pots one would use for seed planting - perfect for little succulent gardens! I also nabbed a glass cloche for my indoor terrariums. They are stocked with the sweetest tea towels, soaps, seed packets, and journals made from re-purposed book covers. You'll also find refinished furniture pieces and other odds and ends for your home. The shop also doubles as ceramic studio! Be sure to check their store hours as they are not open on Mondays or Tuesdays. You can also find their porcelain tableware at Terrain and Williams Sonoma.

We believe in displaying our goods functionally and artfully so that our shoppers can envision creating a similar environment at home and living with goods that are handmade, local, sustainable, repurposed, or vintage. We feature an ever-growing selection of goods from local artists and makers, many using repurposed materials as the foundation for their work: birdhouses skillfully assembled using salvaged architectural remnants, or wreaths, roses, and ornamental objects created from repurposed book pages.

Artists of all kinds....Jewelry, fine art, pottery, decopauage, sculptors, furniture, prints and knitwear too. They carry local coffee from High Point and local made snacks such as jams etc. They also carry one of my favorite brand of gorgeous handmade sliced soap which are vegan and made in Northern Florida. You can grab a bar of insanely smelling Finchberry soaps for $10 or 4/$35. What isn't local, but still handmade is either from women in countries such as Guatemala or repurposed dog beds from volunteers from Habitat For Humanity. Very cool! Speaking with Savannah the well informed sales girl was a pleasure! Unique items for the artsy person in your life! I found prices to be fair for handmade items. *Quater meter street parking or kiosk municipal lot which take cards. Either option is .25/1hr!
