So I decide to run to Sweet Magnolia to replace a candle that had recently burnt out completely when, lo and behold!, there is the most gorgeous pair of gold-leafed wall sconces hanging right before my eyes! This is why I love Sweet Magnolia - you can find such elegant pieces here when you least expect it. I also appreciate that their prices don't put a huge dent in your wallet. $58 for the pair? I'll take them! The store also carries the greatest soy candles ever by Aquiesse which last a rather long time and come in several delightful fragrances. They also carry an array of other home goods - Forte teas, place settings, bath and body products, stationery, baby gifts, and jewelry. Definitely a great little shop for finding last minute gifts or a treat for yourself. I've seen similar items at other stores like Anthropologie for twice the price, so why not patronize a local entrepreneur instead?

I arrived during their slow hours so it was fairly quiet. The shelves seemed to be fully stocked with tons of things to check out. BYOB- bring your own bags not bottle! Lol The staff is generally nice, and they stay pretty well stocked. Just make sure you check your bags carefully before selecting because sometimes you'll find a bruised tomato or something that's starting to spoil. Prices are decent, and they have a nice assortment of flowers with reasonably priced vases, which is always a plus. Overall, it's doable and convenient if you know what you're going for. I found the website easy to use and ordered a birthday basket on Sunday evening thinking it would arrive by Wednesday. The basket arrived Monday evening! The person loved the basket and was impressed by the presentation. I saw pictures that she sent. I also received an email from Craig at Main Line Baskets alerting me when the basket was delivered. Craig's email attached several pictures of the basket (in progress) so I could see the items that were in it. This is amazing customer service, and I will definitely order from here again!
