This Midland, Texas-based Ross Dress for Less was okay. It was incredibly busy and undesirably unorganized back on 5.30.2025. Alas, my oldest daughter still managed to find some cute tops. My youngest found a cool acrylic organizer. I found a beach bag. All the staff members from the security guards to our cashier were nice. I only went here because the kids wanted to look. This Ross store probably has one of the best selections out of the countless others I've seen (mainly on the West Coast and DFW). I also found it a bit more organized than the average Ross and there was quite a selection of electronics including iPhone cables at the time I shopped here. It's also part of the mall which is a big plus for one stop shopping. read more

Rude staff some of whom didn't even speak English and a 20 minute wait in the checkout line. Unacceptable in today's world.

Twice now i've been in there and has a negative experience with a manager named Nayeli. The first time I didn't complain this time I am. She clearly remmebered me and does whatever she wants when she runs the store, to inclide treating customers poorly. When I got home today I realized the large bag they handed me only contained half the items I purchased. I called to see if they had the other bag I was clearly not given. She said she was going to look and when she got back on the phone she never told me she had it. She asked again "the front of the store?" and I said "yes I just want to know if y'all had the stuff". She then hung up on me. I called back Four times before she answered (i didn't realize it was her til later) and so asked to speak to a manager. She said yes and put me on hold with no intentions of returning. I kept the phone on the line and traveled to the store. No one helped me. I found my stuff buried at the front. I asked to speak to a manager and that's when a i was told "the manager said she's in her office right now". I let them know i could wait for her so finally she comes out and it all makes sense. She then proceeded to tell me a different story about where she was and why she never came back to the phone. No office was involved. She didn't care , she never tries to help, she hung up on me and then tried to avoid talking to me in person because she knew I would realize it was her on the phone whcih made it even worse: I asked to speak to a manager. She was the manager. Instead of assisting me she put me on hold indefinitely with no intentions of returning to the lime. that is just sad . read more

Ew. I know everyone here loves a bargain and saving money but this place is awful. I'm from a state where we have at least 4 Ross stores and all of them are clean, organized and have decent to amazing staff. Here? It's a hot mess. It's crowded, things are misplaced and strewn across the floor and shelves, kids are running around like wild demons destroying everything in their paths and messing up items without parental guidance and discipline. The security and theft prevention lady up front did and said nothing to the kids bouncing up and down the chairs and stools in the home section. I waited in a long line just for my mom to return something and to buy scissors. lol. I know, WTF. I don't recommend going here unless you want to lose your sanity. read more

This place is a mess, but there are great deals to be found here. This place is usually unorganized and messy. It's packed every weekend. Do yourself a favor and come during the week midday of you can and you can save yourself from waiting in the long checkout lines. read more

The absolute worst Ross I've ever been too! It's gross the customer service is the worst and the cashiers crazy rude

I took my granddaughters here last Saturday to get them a few things. The store is a mess. There were clothes laying in the aisles that kept getting caught in cart wheels. Very crowded isles and difficult to maneuver. Once we were ready to check out, there were 4 cashiers although none spoke English and all were talking to each other and none to customers. They wouldn't call the next in line..just kept talking in a foreign language. When I finally walked up to a cashier on my own and she checked me out, she pointed to terminal and said something to me in her language. I asked if anyone spoke English and the burst out "English" and starts laughing and they all continue talking. I checked out I think and walked out the door. We will NOT be coming back to this store. Worse than horrible...deserves no stars! read more

Worst customer service I have ever seen!!! Managers think they are too good to get on a register to check people out stood in line for 45 min!! Three employees standing around doing nothing even after seeing lines just pile up!! read more
