In the plaza shopping other stores and saw my old trusted Ross. Good selection of men's tennis shoes (I prefer men's tennis shoes over women's), and dresses. Sometimes I can find really awesome stuff here but this particular location doesn't have good inventory. I've been here numerous times and almost every time, we don't find anything good. There are a bunch of other stores worth going to in this shopping plaza so that's why I'm hopeful and keep coming back but I've been to better Ross' that carry stuff worth buying. read more

I'm always intrigued to see a Ross next to a TJMaxx or a Marshall's. Ross is definitely the two's less attractive little sister. The store is not as well stocked as the Marshall's next door, but you can still find some great bargains. For me, today's visit was all about t-shirts and underwear. I grabbed some AMAZING Jockey t-shirts retailing for $24 each for $5.99. They feel like linen and love on my back. It's a great little location and there's tons of parking. Ross is a hit or miss kind of discount store, so you can't really be too disappointed when you don't find anything worth buying when you visit. That said, I couldn't rate this place any higher than three stars because I strongly dislike the way the store is set up. When you walk in, there's so much obvious security that really kills any kind of casual shopping vibe you might otherwise get. It feels more like visiting a three time felon doing time in Leavenworth than a retail shopping experience. Add to that the fact that this is one of the messier Ross stores I've been to, and it's decidedly not my first choice shopping venue. I really do like discount retailers; I just wish this one had a better vibe and more organization. read more

I used to shop here a lot but never again after the other day. I walked into the area where the bathrooms are which already seemed gross and sketchy but I had to go and decided to venture on.. then I opened the women's bathroom and had to immediately leave the store I was so disgusted. The bathroom reeked.. I held my breath and peeked in the stalls. One was clogged, the other had no seat covers and looked too filthy for comfort. I got grossed out and turned to leave when I saw it... human feces in several spots all over the floor by the sinks... I tried not to vomit and ran out thankful that I didn't step in it coming in. I felt so filthy afterwards that we left the store. I can deal with the disorganization and the employees who act like they'd rather be anywhere else. But I cannot and will not bring myself to step foot in this location ever again after this. read more

IT ONLY TAKES ONE! It only takes one good purchase from Ross to keep you coming back. That is why despite poor reviews, customers continue to return. I can always find something unexpected at Ross. Last week it was a pair of leather gloves. Now there are leather gloves and there are LEATHER gloves! These were LEATHER gloves and they were beautiful. I has been several years since I've owned a pair of leather gloves because I kept losing them and it was just difficult to get the perfect fit. These gloves fit like they were custom designed for me and they did not interfere with my ability to wear my rings. I was shocked because never in my life would I even think of looking at Ross for leather gloves. At the time, I was looking at the hats. I love the Polo thermal tees because they are undeniable quality and actually keep you warm. I purchase them for my son and myself. Tonight, I found the king of muffin pans. A regular pan makes 12 standard muffins and this one makes 24. It is the perfect pan for a muffin maven and will save me loads of time. I also scored a really nice pair of Columbia socks which are extremely comfortable and well cushioned. This store was a bit messy from the holiday rush but not near as bad as a different location I visited a couple of days ago. The registers were well staffed and our wait was minimal. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Ross in Smyrna . It's clean.. Organized & fully stocked with low price items ! This location is exactly the opposite. I walked in & though it was spacious , it lacked product . I couldn't find an associate to assist me . I walked aisle from aisle ... I walked towards the front for help . I didn't find help... Just more ehhh mess .. All over the store . I'm in the process of moving so I enjoy places like Ross or Tj Maxx for small decor . Upon coming to this location I figured it's an high volume area which means better product . I was sadly mistaken . I'll stick to the Smyrna location & more miles on my car ... Ross is the place where my son has scored some great shoe deals...Jordans! He's happy so I'm happy! I don't particularly care for Ross, I'm a TJMaxx chick! Jewelry selection just doesn't compare! Nor does the home section. I always head for the kitchen, linens and towels area. Few times have I purchased anything for myself or home from this location! Staff greet you as you enter and I like that! Store isn't cluttered, actually it's quite sparse. I'm a neat freak BUT I love my overly stocked shelves at the Maxx! I love choices and selections! I've rarely seen any new items week to week here...is business that bad? I know everyone has opinions and preferences and I am completely biased for the Maxx! No slight to this store, though. Staff are friendly and accommodating as they should be! Check it out! read more

Nice place to shop for decent clothing. I even find stuff i can wear to work for less than 10 dollars a piece. But, you will need to have the time, energy and patience of going through all those clothes because most times they are not so organized. It is not unusual that you will find an XS or XL in the medium section. read more

OMG the lady working dressing rooms is bad. She ignores you until you call her several times. Then she mishandles your clothing , drops it on the floor etc. . She needs some very basic customer training. I watched customers give up and leave waiting for her to let them into dressing rooms. read more

Ross has amazing stuff and unbeatable prices. But I would skip this location and drive to another. The upper management doesn't seem to have a grip on their employees. How do I know? From the employees loudly chatting about how they hate their job, hate customers and would rather have any other job than their current one. Not only do they speak these things loudly but will gladly do it while you are checking out. Another reason- complete laziness. The place is dirty and out of order. The cashiers shout for all customers in line to remove their own hangers and place them on a rack. I have never been to a place that would allow this?! Like you can't remove a hanger from an item for a customer? Say thank you? Nothing?! And asking for help is like pulling teeth, either you will hear cussing under heir breath while attempting to help or will get zero help.
