If i could give 0 stars I would. Rudest staff i have ever met. Even while entering/leaving the dressing room all I was greeted with was ugly attitude and mean faces. I understand a shift can be stressful but to make faces while i didn't even interact with you and to be rude when I tell you to have a good day? Yeah no thanks. I'm not usually a person to write a negative review but I don't think i'll ever be returning to this location. Some people really are just miserable. read more

For a while I avoided going to Ross just because the store had become very disorganized and the quality had gone downhill . I've come back and was quite surprised with the improved organization and customer service. Today I went in looking for a bag to use for travel. Although I didn't find what I wanted, I did find some very good buys. One of the Ross reusable bags was 50cents so I picked up 2. I finally replaced my wallet when I saw the good prices. I went to the nonperishable food aisle and picked up a bottle of coconut oil for $3 cheaper than it would have cost at the grocery store. You can find Quality spices, Asian spices, Greek style grape leaves for stuffing and herb infused olive oil. I found the employees to be courteous and helpful. One employee stopped what she was doing and walked me to the purse area when I asked where it was located, now that is going above and beyond and excellent customer service ! I think I'll be visiting Ross more often. read more

Would have given 0 stars, but you have to give at least 1. I can see why this store has 1 1/2 stars. The customer service here is NIL!!! Came in to browse around and found something i wanted to buy. Came up to the register to pay and there was no one in line. As we came up to the register the cashier just walked away with no explanation and walks over to chat with 3 other women. And those women are just standing around chatting. So we just stood there waiting for her to come back over to ring us up. We waited about 5 min then she comes over and says just a minute before she would ring us up. Finally rang us up. And then just walked away and told me to grab my receipt out of the machine. So rude and didn't even say thank you or here's your receipt she made me grab it from the place the receipt comes out. And then walked away to go chat with the other gals again. She looked like she was being put out by having to ring us up. Will NEVER come back to this store. And to boot the racks of clothes in the store were mostly empty. The place looked a mess. We left and went over to TJ Maxx. Much cleaner store and the cashiers are so much friendlier and smile and say thank you. read more

You have to be in the right state of mind to shop here. If not, you will be overwhelmed and leave. The lines can be ridiculously long and customer service really ain't their thing. If you are patient and love a good bargain then this is the place for you! You will find amazing deals but only and ONLY if you have patience and dig. I have luck finding things for my two puppies. I found great deals on bedding, crates, etc. do not come here expecting the most wonderful experience. You will be disappointed! Come alone, with time to spare and you will leave happy. read more

I understand that Ross is a discount store but let's keep it classy New Braunfels Ross.. nothing quite says keep shopping like wall paper torn off the wall and trash all over the ground in the dressing room. Maybe you need to worry less about making everyone have their clothes double counted before entering the dressing room and focus more attention on repairs and cleanliness.. read more

Can't beat the prices anywhere. They do have a an issue with not haven't enough cashiers working. This is a normal problem with Ross stores in general. So if you are an impatient type this may not be the store for you. There is one thing that is sometimes disappointing is that one day they have something the next never to be seen again. read more

I'd rather not hear the manager telling her employees how bad of a job they're doing while I'm shopping. All I heard from the minute I walked in the door was the blonde middle aged manager telling her employees "then go ahead and take a break" or griping about call outs and how she'd rather not have to clean up after the employees like she had to yesterday when they threw stuff all over the floor. I was standing in the shoe section and she was at the cashier station - she definitely wasn't using her indoor voice. I put the shoes back I was about to buy and left. read more

I returned luggage in January at the New Braunfels, TX location and today (6/6/2017) I tried to get another luggage with my store credit. The employees at the register could not get the card to work so they called the manager over. The manager Brandy Scott, rudely accused me that I must have used the card before without realizing that I did. That accusation is unprofessional and inappropriate. I will no longer do business with this company. read more

Usually I'm a big fan of Ross stores, however after my last experience at this New Braunfels location I'm so disgusted I doubt I'll ever go back. While shopping with my boyfriend I saw a cute pair of flats & sat down to try them on. I put my fingers in the back of the shoe while sliding my foot in & sliced my index finger pretty badly. It was a nasty surprise & hurt like hell but I was more shocked than upset. So I grabbed the shoes (so some other poor soul didn't get the same surprise) and went to the front in search of some help. I explained to the young lady what happened & asked for help. She walked over to the first aid kit, and as I stood there bleeding, with my boyfriend holding pressure on my finger she started chatting with another employee and helping a different customer. After a few minutes she came back over with a bandaid. No manager was called, a half-hearted apology was made & that was that. After all the years I've shopped at Ross, I'm really disappointed at the level of service. I wouldn't be surprised if those same shoes were put out on display again. read more

I was pleased with what good deals my husband and I found there, but the customer service and our cashier were horrible! She huffed and puffed that she had to search for a price because there wasn't a tag, i had to tell her not to stretch the collars as she took off the hangers off our children's t shirts, and the whole time she just made very unpleasant pouting noises. I'm not one to complain about something like this but everyone that worked there, seemed so unhappy or angry. I pray that some sort of happiness gravitates that way because no one wants to shop in an angry environment! read more

f I could give them 0 stars I would! Manager BRANDY is a rude rude person that sat there and embarrassed my family and I. Also kept threatening us to kick us out just because my nine month old baby dropped some candy. She said yelling the least you can do is pay for it. I didn't buy anything and left while she's there laughing with the security guard. I will spread the word and make sure to never spend a dime at another Ross ever. Please corporate fire these kind of employees and replace them with employees that will offer better customer service. A manger like Brandy that is rude and yelling even after I told her is this the way you talk to all of your customers all she did was laugh and said I am gonna have to ask you to leave. I will make sure so post the video on social media of her yelling so other people can boycott this store in New Braunfels. read more
