I opted to call the store to see if there was anything that could be done since again this item was new and unworn but the owner im assuming was very rude and unprofessional. I explained the situation and she said "honey it was purchased in july, it is now november. We have a 14 day policy which you are lucky we even have that since most stores dont have that". Well actually most stores have a 30 day policy and are much nicer to customers unlike her especially with defective items. I explained to her I would make sure to never shop there again since she continued to talk down on me and treat me as if my concerns didnt matter. So now I am basically SOL on this item because of their poor quality in clothing. This store is not worth the money especially if the items that are brand new will not hold up and management will not do anything about it. Again, do not purchase from here unless you want unraveled and unwearable clothes.

If you don't want to read the whole thing: I've shopped here for years. The older lady who works here, with reddish hair, was rude and dismissive. Shes been rude before. This was the last time I'll be at Perky Peacock. When I shop here I typically spend a decent amount as I have a larger chest and they have many bras to choose from, as well as quite a selection of clothes. I've lost some weight in the past six months, but haven't updated my bra drawer so I decided to visit perky Peacock. I need an accurate measurement to buy some new bras as well as some clothes for a trip I have coming up. When I went in a young woman asked if I needed any help and I said I needed a bra fitting. She didn't have experience in fittings so she led me to the counter, where there was an older woman who would be able to help me. She groaned, looked extremely annoyed, and asked if I would be in the area for the next hour as another employee had just gone to lunch and she was helping another customer (I was the only other person in the shop outside of the two employees.) It looked like she was doing inventory from what I saw, but maybe she was working on a large order for someone who was coming back? Either way, l told her I wasn't sure but would shop for a while. When she realized I would be sticking around to shop she asked if I knew what band size I was. In which I replied, "No, that's part of the reason why I need to get fitted." She made another annoyed sound, rolled her eyes, and mumbled something to the other employee as I walked to a rack to peruse their sundresses. I didn't let on that I had heard her mutter to the other employee. She has been rude before to myself and other customers and I didn't have any desire to buy anything at that point. I just calmly walked out of the store shortly after. I'm writing this because I was treated as a burden and an annoyance. To treat someone so rudely who could be spending hundreds of dollars, or even someone just window shopping, at your establishment isn't ok in the least. I try to shop local. I love this town and I love the many shops around here. Unfortunately, there aren't very many locally owned places that cater to undergarments for women. So, I'll be heading out to get fitted at Soma and buying my bras and other various items somewhere else from here on out.

Princess Be's has been there for quite awhile (I think I remember venturing in during a family day trip in the middle school years). But I only remembered the fun candles and the cramped quarters. I don't think clothing was on my radar at that point...it is now. After working in boutiques for more than two years, you get a good feel for when you're getting ripped off. That's not the case with this place (jewelry aside). Bottom line: great clothing, reasonable prices, great sales, great baby clothing/gifts, and fun but expensive jewelry. Some of the stuff is a bit "bling" for me...really anything with "bling" on it is way too "bling" for me, but luckily, that's not the case with the entire store. I came away with a little dress I've had my eye on for the past month. I paid almost $40 but it's a good clothing line (thank you, boutique years) and it's a dress I'll wear all year round.
