Another stop during my rainy stay at the beach. This has all the stuff Ross normally has, but certain items stood out in greater number (like similar stores nearby) as stock geared toward rental home needs, vacationer needs, and seashore needs. For example, they had a bunch of small coolers (for bait or small catches), or for taking something to the beach. Useful, for sure. I didn't need it for those puposes, but I still bought two smaller sizes so I could keep frozen groceries in it when I trek out to do a million errands, and need to keep stuff cold while I make the rounds. It was a great deal, and will definitely work at the beach for me as a secondary use. This Ross was much better kept than the one I last visited in Key West a year ago (there aren't many near my home). It was well lit, clean, interior felt newish, merch was attractively presented, well stocked, and easy to navigate. In addition to the coolers, I had to get a Lacoste alligator towel! Straight out of The Preppy Handbook (yes, that's a real book). It was so 80s and too funny, I had to get one in blue. It's going to be my son's beach towel! I was surprised Ross had a deal with Lacoste because this was not a knockoff, the label legit says Lacoste. They also had weed socks and all kinds of crazy stuff in the Young Mens' section. This is the first time I've seen such stuff in such a large box chain store. I mean, Spencer Gifts, sure, but Ross? Staff was friendly, but while multiple associates were on the floor, only one register was open, which created a line, and was unnecessary. So they lose a star there. Thought the inside was better than a few years ago. I waited a long time in line but understand this because I live in this area too and know how busy things can get. I walked up to the cashier and she said not very nicely "he can help you!" Well the he she was talking about had his hands full with two women questioning every price. [952] 7/17/2018 Plenty of parking in this large strip mall parking lot. I stopped in for capris and it was the only thing they didn't have (well they only had the jean kind). I did pick up a few other things as They have a large selection of items They must have a large theft number there as the fitting room attendant wanted to see how big my backpack purse was. They had a very good home section which was fun to pick through. The rest not so much. Everything seems to have a security tag on it regardless of the price. Tag is most of the time on the collar making it awkward to try on. The almost constant security beeping in the store becomes annoying. Employees must not know how to remove tags because the entrance is also always going off. I also agree, there are a good amount of staff spread out on the sales floor following you as you try to shop and they just stare at you not saying a word waiting for you to put a $4 shirt in your pocket. When you get to the register yes those line comments are very accurate. The employees are very slow ringing up items regardless of how long the line becomes. I was in on 6/5 and the woman and younger man on staff behind the register spent more time talking to each other, stopping every now and then to just completely stop working and just talk (mostly trash talk on other employees and how lazy they are) I found that part hilarious. At the end he at least took the 2 seconds to push the bag forward and say have a nice day (so forced). So after a very awkward time in the store I will say it's not worth going back. Marshalls, TJ, HG and Burlington were much nicer and the staff is hands down much more pleasant and doesn't follow you around to the point you feel like a criminal! read more

Nice store with great prices!!! However, the longest lines ever!! I think there are at least 20 people in line, with only 2 cashiers open. One worker is organizing coffee and there is another worker standing. Behind a desk doing nothing. This place definitely needs more cashiers! read more

Not a four star review because my MIL works there but who doesn't love Ross. This is one of the most organized stores I have visited. Its usually hit or miss for my sizes but it's awesome when you come across that score . Yes the lines can be long at times but we always stop in especially during the Winter or on a rainy day. read more
