I've never felt so embarrassed and disrespected in a store before. I grabbed a purse from a cart that had been sitting there untouched for 30-40 minutes because I genuinely thought no one was coming back for it. Instead of talking to me calmly, the manager and two ladies walked up to me in front of everyone and made a whole scene. I felt humiliated, like I was being treated as if I did something wrong on purpose when it was an honest mistake. There was absolutely no reason to confront me the way they did -- no privacy, no kindness, no respect. The whole situation left me shaking and honestly ruined my whole day. I hope this store trains their staff to handle misunderstandings better, because customers shouldn't be made to feel embarrassed or attacked over something that could've been explained politely. read more

I went to ROSS with my mother tonight who is 72 years old. We went to pay at the cashier. Tuesday may 28th 2024 at store number 1253 The cashier blonde AROUND 18 years old or 21 ...horrible attitude! She said to everyone shopping: I'm tired of working!! I want to go home now ! I don't want to be here! She dropped all my mom white dresses on the floor now once ... one time second time third time ! All my mom clothes i the floor After we paid 401.35 cents and she made my kids pack and work my kids are 8 years old and she asked them to work for her because she must go home ! And she's tired of working ! No smile no please no thanks ! Also she gave an order to my old mother " ma'am move that car and walk near to the window quick because I don't want to be here! Wow she was rushing a family who finished worked at 7 pm and we are so unhappy with the customer service here ! No greetings no smile no thanks and this blonde skinny girl at the cashier tonight was the biggest brat I saw.I was quiet because my mom is nice and my kids inocent but I will try to speak to your manager so you can get FIRED !who you think you are ? Absolutely ABOMINABLE! So so DIRTY, ZERO selection, RUDE and USELESS staff! 6 girls were working the the counter when I was checked out and I asked if they had low staffing or something. She said "Why? Do you think the store is dirty or something? Well, we can't get a lot done because we're minors!" So right there she admitted it was dirty while trying to deflect like I was crazy for suggesting it. I told her that there was no toilet paper and dirty diapers and trash all over the ground in the bathrooms and it smelled absolutely awful throughout the store. What in the WORLD does being a minor have to do with not picking up TRASH and DIRTY DIAPERS from the floor of the business you work for for a paycheck! I don't know what is more disgusting. I always end up going shopping at Ross, no matter in what state I find myself in. This particular store was somewhat a waste of time. I think because I didn't find anything to buy. They were reasonably stocked in merchandise but not much to choose from. It could also have been that I wasn't in the mood for shopping here. In any case I think I am going to stick with thrifts stores more. I may make more of an effort to buy used clothes and not be so wasteful purchasing new clothes every year. Reviews can be misleading -- I find that for stores, people don't usually think to leave a review unless it was a bad experience. Like I'm not out here leaving a review on every Target or Walgreens I go to‍ Anyway, back to the store. I have been to many Ross locations in a couple states, and this is definitely one of the better ones! They are decently stocked and the staff seem to enjoy their jobs. The store was relatively clean when I went on Saturday. The cashier accidentally scanned one of our items twice, but when we went back in to correct it she was extremely kind and apologetic. It was a busy day, I don't blame her honestly. It's hard to find an in-person store nowdays thats cheaper than Amazon, so Ross is definitely a win read more

The staff at this location are discriminatory and rude. The cashiers are especially at fault. I'm contacting their corporate office to make a complaint. Outside of their horrendous customer service. The store is dirty, the selections are mediocre and the dressing rooms are a mess. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Sunday May 31st 2009 Been searching this ROSS, until today I managed to find it, after getting accidentally "LOST" while driving around with Hubs. This location of ROSS was opened sometime in March/April 2009. Since this ROSS location is slightly new in this part of the neighborhood area of The Orchard Town Center, Westminster, CO ~ I like. This ROSS location, the things are kept in order, just the way I like it. Managed to get good deals for the house, home decor and personal usage like some clothes, couple of pants, jeans etc etc. I like. Definitely a return when I'll be in the neighborhood next time. Was at this store yesterday. Even though notice on door says customers MUST wear a mask, there were at least 6-8 people without them. When I questioned cashier, her response was "We recommend it but can't enforce it". So why have the sign on the door??? Also no sign of any way to sanitize carts. Very disappointing! read more

I will be writing to corporate as well but know that this store associate decided to refer to my black children as "the help". I had purchased a large canvas, two larger rugs, and a trash can. She was super rude when I walked up and I kept trying to ask her about her day and she would ignore me. I realized you couldn't take the carts outside and asked her how they expected me to get everything out to my car. She had no response until the loss prevention worker stepped in and told her to bag up my stuff. She HANDS me the bag and I ask her to please hold it while I place my items in it (which is supposed to be her job to start with but I was thankful I was even getting a bag). Then she just let go as I go to grab something else to put in it! She then said, "well looks like you have "the help" to help you." I asked if that was a comment directed towards their skin tone and she wouldn't respond. If it wasn't intentional...she should have corrected herself and I would have let it go and wished her a better day. As a white mother of two black children I found this beyond offensive! When I left the register to finish bagging my own merchandise that she refused to, the loss prevention employee was kind enough to apologize and tell me he would discuss the matter with her. Anyone boycotting for #BLM...this is the place to boycott. I was so upset I didn't even get her name but the receipt said the associate number was #973399. This store is a joke and the managers probably don't even care. Lack of products and check out is horrendous. I don't understand why they separate the return lines and the check out lines, it should all be one line. It's frustrating when there are 10 people in the check out line, who have been waiting for 20+ minutes, and the cashier takes the person who just stepped into the return line, with the intention of returning 5 items and buying 50 more. It's not fair to those who have been waiting. The cashier's aren't friendly at all either. I shop around these stores when I'm looking decor/gifts and I've been to Marshalls across the street. They get the same clientele, yet their employees always manage a smile at check out. I consider myself lucky if I get a hello here. The cashier here even started ringing up another customer as I was gathering my bags. She didn't even hand me my receipt, she made me rip it out myself with two heavy bags occupying my hands. This store was a disgusting pigsty! It looked like a bomb exploded! Shoes all over the floor, I mean everywhere. Clothes off the hangers, racks spewed all over. Baskets full, empty all over the store. No employees cleaning stuff up. Nothing was in its place. I have been shopping at Ross since I was 4 years old with my Mom and G'ma. I still shop here as an adult, but I have to be prepared before hand. This location was no different. The racks were mostly neat and the place was "clean", but the dressing rooms smelled like urine and some other offensive rank. I went here with my sister as she was looking for socks and tennis shoes for my nephew. There was no one greeting when you walked in. it was a weekend so it was packed. People disgust me! There was clothes and hangers and shoes all over the floor and just shoved anywhere. Why is it so hard for customers to PUT THINGS BACK WHERE YOU GOT THEM ORIGINALLY?!?!?! I do this! This Ross is typical, and awesome. As the discounts at all Ross stores are usually amazing. The line here got long fast and it took a little long for the second cashier to stop cleaning up and instead tend to the line with the other cashier. I would have left if the shoes I found weren't so cute. Their security guard greets guests on the way in and that can either be charming or annoying. Probably depending on your mood. read more

Disappointed with the service at this store. They are slow to serve - I walked in and stood at the counter while the woman stood and counted hangars, ignoring us, even though she saw us walk in. Then when I tried to return a Christmas gift I didn't want, the manager didn't allow me to because I didn't have a receipt and rudely accused me of using it, which I hadn't. This store sometimes has great stuff (usually when I don't need anything ) and then can't find anything when I really need something. Great deal on a pair of boots about a week ago. I shop here often. Lines can get really long during the weekend. Return policy is good. Great selection of accessories. Yes....you can DRESS FOR LESS!! Staff is ok....typical for this caliber store. This Ross is more organized and cleaner than most other Ross's that I have been in, but it still leaves a bit to be desired, especially towards the end of the night within the two hours before they're about to close. I went in tonight and it seemed very understaffed. There was only one cashier, and the customer he was helping was paying with a check that kept causing problems, just making the line back up even more. After seeing two employees walk by the line and ignore it, a girl finally came to help check people out. I always find at least a few things that I like, & they usually have a really good clearance section, especially for the purses & shoes. The fitting rooms are always pretty messy, though, with hangers scattered throughout each fitting room, and fingerprints on the mirrors. I do like this location overall, and how much "luxury" can you really expect from a discount clothing store? read more
