No service or access to that heavily damaged 2014 Escape has been permitted, but a 46th Dist.Ct. Hearing on May 10th turned out really strange, and that Court's Animus against me was confirmed. Ross never showed up, and that should have triggered a Default Judgment in my favor, and return of that $1560 that was going to him. Instead, a No-Name Judge confirmed that the Court is indeed functioning as Ross's Collection Agency. The Judge and her Clerk got together, and worked out a goofy pretext, involving the word "Telegraph", to excuse Ross's no-show, and give him an Adjournment to next Friday. Having gotten wind of Southfield's withdrawal from the Case, they even called in the Southfield attorney, and seemed to be trying to make her come back in! The Judge's Clerk spoke fondly about Ross's previous appearances before the 46th Court. As planned, I informed the No-Name Judge that I was hereby Gifting the 2014 Escape, albeit without its Title, to Ross. She refused to enter that into the Record. Although the telephone conversation between the Judge and Ross or his Rep seemed congenial, that definitely didn't carry over to her treatment of me! She forced me to sign a Notice to Appear and Pay, on the 17th of May. None of that nonsense about Innocent unless proven guilty, for her. These Warnings lashed out at me: "If I fail to appear in Court or pay as stated above, a warrant may be issued for my arrest and additional cost of $75 will be assessed." She didn't even sign her own name to the form. This bizarre scene illustrated that the 46th District Ct., or at least this Judge, are the powerful enablers upon which the Junkyard King relies. For my sake, and for the benefit of our Community, please let the 46th Dist. Ct. know that what they are doing is wrong, and that you care about that. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I called to get a quote on a tow In my area and was quoted at $95 and $5 per mile. while cost was no issue I said woah and the guy responded by laughing at me and saying uh yea it cost money. worst customer service I have delt with in a while. read more

A friend of mine was involved in a accident and he left to go to the store and had my ( registered) gun under the seat. The car was towed to Ross and my friend wasn't able to go get his belongings until Monday morning. When he got there a pair of his designer glasses and my gun was missing. When I called to let them know about the gun, the guy that answered the phone acted real shady and put me on hold for a minute and came back telling me that "It's they're policy not to go into people cars and don't take belongings and the cars are always locked". That's the biggest crock of shit,they all tell that lie!!!! I called Southfield Police Department and notified the gun was stolen and the last place that had the car was in Ross possession. My sons truck was towed by these guys. When he went to get his stuff out of it. Everything was there except his Nintendo Switch, which is in high demand right now. They sent an employee out to make sure he didn't steal any of his own belongings I guess. As soon as the guy heard him and his friends talking about it being missing, the guy took off. read more

My car was towed from guitar center I'm Southfield and their customer service skills are terrible!!!! When I called to find out how much my car was going to be to get it out the guy over the phone could not tell me any information and said I had to call back on Monday. When I called back on Monday they still had no information on my car because they said it wasn't in their system yet but my car had gotten towed on a Saturday. I called back a hour latter and they finally told me how much my car would be. When I went up there and got my car my bumper was falling off my car when I pointed it out to them they said it was already like that but my car was in perfect condition! I asked for the report they wrote up before they towed my car and they guy went in the back and wrote bumper falling off in a blue colored pen but the rest of the writing was black! They charged me $320 to get my car out $20 a day for storage when they were closed and told me they were not responsible for my bumper. Worse company ever!! read more

Rude employees with zero service skills. My engine died due to a timing chain issue and was towed my Police. Went to get my car the next morning, well over $200. To make it worse, the flat bed driver backed into my car when they went to tow it and totalled the front end. They tried to tell me that it must have happened from snow due to a plow truck. I wish I could give zero stars but it's not an option. Got charged over $700 for a 6 mile tow because of a flat tire and damaged rim. They drove the car onto the tow truck yet still managed to itemize every service available with a cost associated even though none of these were used. Terrible!!!!!! Do not call these people!!! Extremely rude and very unprofessional. They take Police tows overs a regular civilian. They Told me originally 45 mins at 3:50, that turned into an entire day. As far as the actual tow is concerned, they came within a reasonable time (but it was a police call), and the girl who came out was friendly and professional. However, when my insurance company tried to get the car the next day, we were told that we have to go in and sign a release to have our car released to a third party! WHAT??? This is the insurance company! This is nearly impossible for us to do as we do not live anywhere near the area where the accident happened, and we work even farther away than that. It is extremely inconvenient and now I have no idea how we are going to get our car because of this policy. Extremely rude!!!! They hold your car hostage for exorbitantly high fees. Since they are under contract to the city of Southfield, you do not have a choice in who tows your car if you are involved in an accident. Regardless of whether the accident was your fault or not they impound your vehicle and unless you pay their "ransom" you do not get your car back. Every day the fees continue to accrue. My husband got into an accident two weeks ago at 3AM on a Saturday morning. We had someone with a tow truck go pick it up for us but it was already gone by the time he arrived after noon. The Southfield police gave us the number to Ross and when we called the number, the guy said that his system's were down and they were closed. So I had to wait two days (Monday) to verify where our car was. They said that the car was towed there at 9AM... Six hours after my husband's accident and he had to walk home in December at 4 in the morning! We finally found that the car was in Ross's lot. I went there around 4PM to get the title out of my car. They said that they needed a release form from the police...for me to go into my car which was 200 yards from the door and get proof that I owned the car. I went all the way to SPD and by the time I got back, Ross was closed up. It was a total nightmare and now we're $500 in the hole because it's taken us two weeks to get our car back.
