While definitely an older building/property, the Rosevenil has a charm and quirkiness you should expect. The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms, while dated, offer you everything you would need for your stay. The attached restaurant was great as well. Most importantly, the air conditioners WORK. And that's important here in the Philippines, especially for guests like us who aren't used to incredible humidity all the time.
The one-time use WiFi access codes for each individual device is a little much, especially with todays technology, but it's not a huge deal. The water in our bathroom (both sink and shower) also didn't get very hot. The tiny parking lot is kind of a nightmare. We had a driver so we didn't have to deal with parking, but can only imagine our crazy it would have been if we did have our own car.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Rosevenil and would definitely recommend it. read more
