All are located within a 1/2-mile radius, and 2 are literally within about 200 yards of each other. We started our tour with Bulloch Hall. It is located a bit south of the main Roswell business district. They have dedicated parking lot. Adjacent to that is a gift shop, but visiting that is optional since there are no tickets to buy. This was also the home with the highest profile historical connection, that being Teddy Roosevelt's mother. It was her family that built the house and she had lived their for part of her childhood. We wandered up to the main house and entered via the front door. The docent on duty was friendly and just asked for our zip code and how we'd heard about the venue. You are then free to wander the house via whatever route you like. Most rooms have a sign with a 4-digit code. You call a phone number and enter successive codes as you proceed. For each code, there is an accompanying description of the room's historical context and of its furnishings. The mansions of this period all seemed to follow the same basic floorplan - a central linear hallway with 2 or 3 rooms off each side and a staircase at the end. There was also a cellar/kitchen area and an upper floor. Most rooms just had period furnishings but some were given over to history displays, such as the family tree of the owners or their family's military participation. The same code scheme extends to part of the grounds and one or two outbuildings. I thought this was a fairly interesting place. It provided a good overview of what life was like in the area in the 1850s, at least for the upper tier of local society.

Several different parking areas, we like to…read morego to the one on the south end off Cobb Pkwy as it huge and never full, this entrance also has bathrooms and can be used for access to CNRA West Pallisades. Nice views of Rottenwood creek along the Bob Callan Trail. You get to walk under 285 on the pathway, be sure to look for artwork near this area. Lots of bridges crossing the creek along the way. Clean and not too crowded. Folks of all ages on the trail. We go here about once a month and walk 5-6 miles including extra trails. Occasionally will take side trail into West Pallisades. Conveniently located and definitely worth a stop if you are an outdoors person.

They have baskets on the front of them to put your belongings in. The ladies room had Dial hand soap. The silver button on the wall is a hand dryer. Tissues inside stall. Not sure about the other ones or if they had a baby station at the big stall. My only concern was the doors being open to the bathrooms. The big trash cans had them propped open and I get it (due to "Covid") but I wanted some more privacy especially when this cute guy was standing by his bike literally across the bathroom door! And I was not going to move that big trash can. Only reason I rated this UPDATED review a 4 out of 5. Some of the trees limbs were hanging over the trails in certain parts. Causing a brief slow down during the trails busiest times on nice days. I went between 4:30-6p today. The gardens were a charming setting for the intimate ceremony. There were 8 tables (10 chairs each) on the grounds and another 4 on the wrap around porch. The guests (with the exception of the immediate family who sat in two rows at the front) just sat at their tables to watch. The band set up in the gazebo closest to the parking lot. I have to admit that much of what made it lovely was the weather, and having it at 10am helped that.

I think we all learned a few new things about where certain dinosaurs lived, and some dinosaur names we hadn't heard of before. The ONLY reason it's not getting a full 5 stars is because of a couple of reasons - 1 - A couple of the dinos could use maintenance. One of them has long claws that are a little broken. (You can see the inner structure poking out.) The small T-Rex looks like his eyes are having issues opening back up after it "blinks." 2 - The only staff member that wasn't very friendly was the cashier at the souvenir shop. He seemed like he really didn't enjoy his job. It's not the most fun position to have there, I'm sure, but it does have an effect on the full experience for customers. Definitely a place to check out for anyone that has kids that have any interest in dinosaurs.

Sure, you probably just walked past this eyesore and wondered what it was. I have walked past it hundreds of times and wished that I couldn't see it anymore. Am I being a spoilsport? Am I not understanding the aesthetic here and should take my snobby attitude somewhere else? You would be right to think so. I also think that this canker should be forever put to rest at a local junkyard rather than taking up a valuable parking spot in the busiest stretch of downtown in Cherokee county. One day he was at a bar; and met another car. He talked about a rainbow; that appeared once long ago. It turned all those that stood under it; into a bonafide hit! So Hippie car went and found the rainbow; and wouldn't you know; He went all aglow. Soon he begin attracting stuff; lizards and of course Barbie in the buff. "So what kind of gas do you use use?"
