My business has operated in Chamblee for 38 years. In the past two years the City management has…read morebecome very unfriendly to business. Code enforcement has tried to make us move our company vehicles from our own parking lot. Notices have been sent to wrong businesses. We have been working for over 1 year to get a business license for another business and this handled by a company in California. After over 25 attempts, they cash the check but continue to come back for more information that was already provided. They tell you one thing and a month later tell you just the opposite. The past three City Managers, do not followup when the promise to do so. After multiple visits to a grand City Hall where there are few workers, it is clear the staff is completely incompetent. They have all been nice but do not communicate and are harrassing business owners. It this from the top down?

Especially the Chinatown Food Court which is full of gems like a Chongqing and Tsingtao. It was built as a "new Chinatown", where the area is constructed before the Asians move in, as opposed to the older, natural Chinatowns which sprung up in a more organic way (to quite hipsters). Full list of ATL food recs: - Get a Gyro at Nick's Greek To Go. - Ghetto Burger from Ann's Snack Bar - Fish Tacos at El Rey Del Taco - Brown Butter Gelato from Honeysuckle in the market - Bakery treats from Sweet Hut - Brown Sugar Milk Tea from Snowflake - Chongqing in Chamblee for Cumin Lamb w/handmade noodle' - Tsingtao next to it for Lamb Cumin Sticks - Flavors of Chicago, Lucky Dog, Chicago Delights for Chi-dogs Chamblee is an absolutely wonderful little area that is highly underrated. Whenever I'm in town I head straight over here for some of the deliciousness they have on offer. It's a chame that most ATL Yelpers don't know about these places.

So many great restaurants yet ratings in the 70's and 80's. That is not only gross but unsanitary. You really should promote or incentivize responsible restaurant habits for your community.

The City of Woodstock was originally a stop on the Louisville and Nashville Railroad. This route…read morewas known as the the "L&N" or " The Old Reliable". The primary use for this route was to haul coal and iron ore which we know are the basic ingredients for making steel. Originally the L& N route didn't even come through Woodstock at all.... It came through Marietta and went on up to Canton. It wasn't until 1879 that the L& N begin coming through here. (Interestingly the Old Woodstock Train Depot in the downtown area was originally built by the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company for which L&N was named after....The LNRC was later sold to CSX who sold to Georgia Northeastern Railroad and they sold it recently to Patriot Rail Company....who runs this route now. You can see their train zipping on through here once in awhile.) If you go on GDOT http://www.dot.ga.gov/IS/Rail you can download and or take a closer look at the railroad system that build the country and launched us into the Industrial revolution. According to the city of Woodstock's website there are about 30,000 people that live here with the average income of $73,000. The average house here is about $204,000. But this is yelp so I'll spare you the boring statistics and get right to the point....where can I eat? Here are the top places according to yelp that you can eat.
