There are at least two reasons to love this particular Irving - the car wash. It's inexpensive, and does a great quick clean, especially when it's cold and I'm too lazy to do it myself. And the fact that it's open 24 hours - you never know when you'll need gas or something. The K store is well maintained - meaning lots of goodies on the shelves and clean.

I find the pumps are faster than a lot of other stations where I find that $30 takes 4 or more minutes to pump! I always use my Petro points card as well. Why not earn points for money you would spend anywhere. I always find that the gas doesn't burn as quick when I use Petro-can.

I haven't really been into a bad situation here so nothing from there. I usually just pay outside, so communication is rare, only if I buy something from inside. The problem I think is the location. This is located where the main highway 102 starts, and as you may suspect, this is where people accelerate. Well, trying to turn your car to enter the area of the gas station is a test. You make a mistake, you pay for your life. One or two incidents have occurred in the past, explaining why people coming out of the highway are NOT allowed to make a left to Romans avenue. The manager--who insists on being called "sir" like he's running a medieval castle--acts annoyed the second you walk in. Instead of helping customers, especially younger ones, he treats everyone like they're wasting his time. It's honestly ridiculous. Kids shouldn't be overcharged just because they're young, and a gas station shouldn't feel like you're walking into a lecture from someone who hates their job. Bottom line: Do better, Esso.
