PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR..Dont give these people your personal information. It appears they are targeting college students that dont have much professional experience. They operate under several different names Block, Medical Staffing and Industrial Staffing and several different phone numbers. The number they call you from you cant call back to and the number they leave for you to contact them back at is not the number on their website. The website reroutes you to other websites of theirs.The BBB has no phone number for them but address....... and biggest issue is they have suspicious business practices. I called back and spoke to Mary Beth who said it was against their company policy to answer any questions for me. BTW all I asked her was where where they were located. This place is wretched. After I waited 2 days to receive my Prove-it tests, I called the office and had to tell them to send it again. Took the woman three times to send since she was unable to simply copy and paste my email address from my résumé. When I met her face to face, she complained about previous people that came through that happen to work at my current place of employment. Then stated that I looked unprofessional. I was wearing a dress with a sweater, and my hair was straight and pulled back into a ponytail( I probably resembled a librarian). She stated that I didn't own a suit. How asinine to make that assumption. During a phone conversation, she also thought it was necessary to explain to me how I am sabotaging myself since I am hard to get a hold of. Mind you, it was written on my résumé and I told her that I had a full time job and cannot have my personal cell phone out. When she would call or email me. I would ALWAYS return her phone calls within the hour and if she ever emailed me, I would respond within minutes. But of course during her professional rant, she stated that it took me a longer than day to get back to her. Overall, if you want a woman to preach to you on professionalism and chastise you for quickly returning phone calls and emails instead of answering her phone calls while you are at work, then this place is for you. This place is a fraud. They operate under multiple names. Industrial Staffing, Staffing the Universe etc. I got injured on one of the jobs through this company Iron Hill. First Jeff Slifer tried to lie and say I walked off the job after reporting the injury so they won't have to be liable for it. When that didn't work, they got Brooke Hockenbury who approved me of workmans comp. 1-2 months later after I started getting treatment. She lies. She is a liar along with the company by sending me a fictitious and ridiculous rejection reason for workmans comp. They blamed it on me after knowing that, that didn't happened. Now I'm paying for medical bills, have an injury and left the horrible temp position because of it. Happy I left. Just abandon these cheap low paying jobs. It will save your health. Let's watch this place fall and see all the bad they are doing to people come back to them. They don't deserve your labor. Stay away! They are unethical evil liars, scam artist and frauds. read more
