I submitted my resume online for 2 jobs, and receive a phone call from Paula for a job I did not apply to. During our brief phone call, she asked me several questions and while I answered she interrupted me. (Perhaps she was looking for one word replies...) She seemed baffled when I referenced my resume, and then behaved as if she had never even bothered to look at it. I am using them to get an administrative position and have found them so far unhelpful. I contacted the office by phone and submitted my resume by email waiting to hear back after 4 days. I call back and kept getting sent to a voicemail. After leaving my information a few times I finally get someone to answer me after I called them never getting any call. When I call its very cold phone greeting with the person I am speaking with. When I ask if their are any job openings immediately get a No and dead air. They are just so cold and impersonal. read more

A perfect example of "Don't Call us, we'll call you." Sent a resume years back (This would be around 2011) and decided to follow up with a call. Rude guy answers and says they'll get back to me. You can imagine how that ended. No placement test, no interviews. It's a wonder to me how 90 percent of the businesses in Highland Park stay afloat. Since I posted this review, the owner has written me privately several times to say that TPG has corrected its past mistakes. I can't speak from personal experience on that one, but If you have gotten a successful placement, please let me know. read more

*Addendum 8-22-2017 Not sure what happened to my review of TPG Staffing? Tracy called me today from TPG Staffing to see how I was getting on in the position they found me and I mentioned to her that I wrote a positive review on Yelp about their agency. She thanked me and said that was a very nice thing to do. But then she said she was looking at the Yelp site and could not see it anywhere. I told her I know I wrote it and I have written many other reviews for other businesses and all of those posted without any problem. Was placed quickly at one temp assignment. There was a definite end date to the assignment when I first started. I have been calling and e-mailing contacts there for a week reminding them the assignments is ending and have not had a return response. The client has also called and advised them of the assignment end date. The unfortunate thing is the person who placed me at the assignment is no longer working there.
