We started with calamari, crispy orange chicken and honey prawns. All of our appetizers were delicious and delivered to the table hot and fresh. My favorite was the Honey Prawns ($7.50) The prawns were encased in a delicious bread coating and deep fried. Almost like a corn dog but much better. When it was time for ordering our entrees one of the owners of the restaurant suggested that I change my order from Sesame Chicken to Mala Chicken ($15.50) with fried rice. ($3.50) Mala Chicken is chicken in a hot numbing sauce. The sauce is made with Sichuanese peppercorn, chili peppers and several spices that are simmered in oil. The large location with its many seats and some complementary news papers also gives you the option to sit in. My only beef would be that the portion sizes are, like the price, excessive. Noodles served in cardboard with plastic utensils are not worthy of a 10 euro price tag in my opinion. Especially when you can go somewhere like Yum Thai and order something similar for 5.50. The portions are huge but without a friend to share your just going to leave it behind. This place can not be ignored as the food is quality, but you can find cheaper.
