Had visit 11/14/25, 8:15 . Was seen 20 minutes later , They did XRays right away, PA Hind read XRays. She did and exam of my knee said it was fluid . She extracted 30 cc of fluid and gave me a Cortazone shot. I was feeling good right away. I highly recommend this office to any one feeling discomfort of knees. I would give zero stars if that were an option. Worst medical advice/experience I have ever had. After 4 appointments @ $40 a pop for coats, a steroid injection for a foot neuroma and an MRI, (all in, close to $1,000 out of pocket), the doctor gave me a p ad to put in my shoe and "make the best of it, noting we can do." A month ago I fell and hurt my Right Shoulder. I actually felt the ball pop out of the shoulder (and pop back in). I went to Rothmans Urgent Care in Newtown and had X-rays and was seen promptly by a PA who I thought was thorough. I was dx with a Rotator Cuff Strain and Labral Tear and told to start physical therapy which I been doing for the past month. I came into Rothman today to see Dr. Craig Rubinstein for a follow up appointment. I felt this 3 minute appointment was a total waste of time. I had a quick cursory arm exam and asked did I want a steroid injection or to continue PT. I opted for PT. The doctor was out the door as I was trying to ask questions. I am an older female that was very active before this injury. I wanted to know when I could resume some of my previous activities. All I got was "when it heals" as he was walking out the door. I received no explanation of what was wrong with my rotator cup or the usual timeline for healing. A very disappointing visit. read more

I should have never went to rothman. I've only ever have seen a PA. the staff calls him doctor,but a PA only has 2 yrs education. I'm a BSN, these Pa's don't have the experience of an RN. he told me you only get to see a real doctor if your having surgery. read more

Rothman started off strong and the providers actually cared about their patients. I began going there 20 years ago for a neck injury when it was the best. Now you're just a number. There is no reason why it should have taken 4 months to get an MRI. Rothman received the denial almost immediately and never resubmitted more documentation to the insurance company. I had to call them and in the end had to wait over 4 months for an MRI. Totally absurd. As a patient, I don't feel like I should have had to spend 7 hours trying to figure out what I had to do after I received the denial. I can't imagine an older person doing this for themselves. Rothman should be ashamed of themselves. Doctors don't call you back after several tries. I requested FMLA papers in July because the epidural injection I was given failed and I still have not received them...yet my portal stated they were sent. They drop the ball CONSTANTLY. It would be nice for them to just fo their job without their patients chasing after them to f/u. This is NOT what a practice is supposed to be about. There are better ones out there. So do your research and choose someone else. read more

I was assisted almost as soon as I stepped off the elevator. The office was bright and clean. The staff was professional and courteous. Dr. Rubinstein was friendly and patiently answered all my questions. I went to Rothman in February or March 2019 I paid approximately $700 $700! out of pocket For a prosthetic ankle support heel support. My insurance paid a couple hundred also. A couple days ago I got a bill for 47.51 from date of service March 2019. I explained I believe I paid in full and this was along time ago. I also remembered the similar situation in 2020 where they I also got a bill this bill at least I believe it was his bill. I called all week multiple times to try and speak to someone and finally this no customer service lady did say that there was only a four dollar a couple cent balance for 47.51 was wrong. I said this was a long time ago and this could be a billing error and she said because of Covid everything was slow down now come on that's a bullshit excuse especially with bills because those motherfuckers didn't slow down at all during Covid and this was a year before Covid so who should eat the $4.71 me or them "F" you very much Rothman and who ever was on the phone. I do not feel that doctors are compassionate to the patients, they pass u around, from they seem they are in it for money.

They get you in and out quicker than you can bat an eye. Dr Rubenstein could not get out fast enough. They should actually listen to patients pain areas and concerns. Last time I've I'll be there. Finding somewhere else. If you expect them to sit down and care you have another thing coming. They should work on compassion not just a bigger pay check by seeing a lot of patients read more

This was my second appointment to get orthovisco injected into my osteoarthritic knees. Dr Rubenstein is very nice and gentle. I barely felt a thing. Prior to my appointment, Rothmans institute e mailed me forms and applications to fill out, in regards to my background and medical history. It took me two hours to fill all of it out (that part did not bother me) and I sent it in immediately. When I arrived for my appointment, I approached the front desk, only to have the receptionist ask me most of the questions all over again. After about 15 minutes of me standing there in pain (I have a fractured vertebrae) while she was asking me the same questions that I had already answered, I told her that I had already filled out the applications and could she please obtain the information from them. She said "No". She even had the audacity to check the box that says "Non-Hispanic", in regards to my heritage. As I am from a Latin-American country, Spanish was my first language and I only recently became a U.S. Citizen, I was rather annoyed that she would assume that I am "non hispanic", and I pointed out to her, that I am INDEED Hispanic, and if she had bothered to read my admission form (that I had already filled out), she would have known this. Additionally, I was standing right in front of her, so she could have asked me. Dr. Gautam Kothari as well as the X ray technician were both very professional and the Dr. has an excellent bedside manner. He did not talk down to me like many other medical doctors have and this, I found, to be refreshing. Overall, the actual medical care received at Rothman was a good experience for me. I had bought all my tests , 7 in total, mri's and xrays. Dr Okon came in , never looked at my knee or thigh, and said he could not help me, In my opinion he should of least checked my knee and thigh to see how swollen it was, and if there was heat coming out, which would suggest an infection, Dr. Okon said that i needed to see another sports medicine Dr. down at Jefferson. He did suggest i get a thigh ultrasound. Felt it was a complete waste of time. Would not suggest anyone to go there........ read more

I was recommended to see Doctor William Hozack by Dr Lane in Eddison office. I had Hip Therpees and I was in much pain . I had previous x-rays and other results of all my test. Dr Hozack had additional X-rays done at the office to confirm my issue . He was absolutely respectful and a true professional . I wanted to have both of my hips done at the same time but Dr Hozack explained that I was too heavy to do both at the same time and it would be very difficult for me to recover . After discussing my options , we agreed to do one Hip at a time . He also suggested that I should trim down in weight for a better recovery . When it was time for my first surgery, i had dropped 27 lbs . The recovery was outstanding , YES I was in pain for 1 to 2 weeks but that is normal , for major surgery. The staff was excellent and extremely profesional . I was pleased with his results that I immediately did my second surgery on my other Hip. The institution sends you PE on your cell phone or computer , you can send them information on a daily basis and if you have any concerns they answer it within one day. I have recommended everybody to Dr William Hozack . I give the staff 100% satisfaction , the facility is increadible modern and clean . Dr Hozack is incredible profesional and curtious .
