My sister bought tickets online while having breakfast. She got us tickets and priority boarding. When we got to the station, her credit card was charged for 2 tickets and 2 priority boarding but when she was checking our tickets and priority boarding, only 1 was showing up. So, we went to the ticketing office to get clarification but the man was just plain rude and not helpful. He was not there to listen or help. Before you could even get a word out, he's already dismissing you and wants you to buy another ticket. This experience would have been an easy 5 stars if it wasn't for this terrible man.
We missed our train because of all this nonsense so we had to wait to catch the next train. The people in front of us at priority boarding was also having issues with their ticket and they had theirs printed. So obviously, it's the ticketing system that's the issue.
When all the drama got sorted, we were the first ones to board and got first dibs on seats next to the window so we get a good view of Matterhorn on the way up.
The return trip doesn't have a separate line for priority boarding so, it was a bit more chaotic but we managed to get window seats again. The train is a bit cramped especially if you're sitting with taller/ wider people - there's no first class carriages.
