They have painted together for 26 years. And they made painting look ever so easy! I asked for a quote for my two story home as well as a quote for just the bottom floor-- both interiors. (No exterior work.) I later decided that I'd hire this couple to paint just the main floor because I can pretty easily paint the top floor myself... & I always like saving money. They came out & asked me questions, checked the square footage of the area I wanted painted, & took notes, etc. Within two days, I was provided with two written quotes (emailed to me). The work was scheduled, & they competed the job as promised over a 2.5 day period. (I didn't need to be home while they worked.) They not only completed the painting, they did a phenomenal job! I honestly cannot find one mistake on any wall or baseboard, & the tiny flaws on a few pieces of trim I easily corrected myself (although they would have quickly driven over to do it-- they texted immediately to see if I was happy w/ the end results.) Just incredible painting! They even painted my tall stairwell beautifully & hung a new (old) mid-century painting for me high on the wall -- see pic. Then they gratiously returned all my furniture to its original locations. This couple uses Sherwin Williams paint. They bring all their supplies & clean up their wares nightly. My home looked cleaner after they left...lol. I can't express how impressed I am with their preparation, painting, professionalism & work ethic! Not one speck of paint on my floors! Soooo impressed! I put down a deposit of 25% via personal check, & paid the balance via debit card (over the phone) after the work was completed. Had I used my credit card, there would have been a 3% charge to cover their credit fees, which is often standard for non-commercial painters. Why did I subtract .5 stars? Because they quoted a price, but erred when providing the estimate; they neglected to ask me the paint color I wanted for the baseboards, trim, & doors. Because I didn't select basic white, a second coat would be needed, which meant I needed to pay an additional $210-- that I had originally not been quoted. To be fair, they should have split the difference w/ me, but I can't fault them for wanting compensation for the extra paint & time. And I am very satisfied with the end results. Would DEFINITELY use this couple again! Have never seen better painting-- almost flawless! And their price was less than a popular competitor's estimate.

Two days after it was approved we were on the books. Ken and his crew showed up at 715 and did not stop working until 5. I found everyone to be very professional, hardworking and respectful. They had the old drive way out in an hour. After the driveway was removed, they set about to remove all of the tree roots and debris that was in place under the original driveway. After this they dug the driveway and front walk forms out, brought in some fresh fill and then tamped the ground down solid. Pavers went in, in 4 hours. After they were through, they cleaned everything up and even washed the street. Run, don't walk, to Superior Pavers. High praise to Kent and his crew. Very hard workers! Our garden tub sprung a leak which necessitated the remodel. We hired CMK Construction to remodel…read moreour shower/tub area. Best. Decision. Ever! We got 2 bids before hiring CMK. One company came out to meet with us and then never called us back to see if we wanted to proceed with them or if we had any questions. Their pricing was also higher than CMKs and even though their methodology seemed comprable, their lack of communication didn't bode well. Our first CMK visit on 3/3 was with Jason C. who went over all of the details with us. Hubby and I decided to eliminate the garden tub altogether and expand the shower area. We really didn't have a clear idea of what we wanted and Jason encouraged us to look at Pinterest and other sites to get a better feel for what it could look like. The printed information Jason gave us regarding their workmanship and guarantees was very reassuring. He even gave us a sheet to do comparisons with other companies and with questions we could ask to better compare bids. He explained how they use a special water barrier to ensure moisture doesn't seep into the walls. He also gave us printed instructions with what we could expect at each stage of construction. Super helpful! Once we decided on CMK, they sent us a proposal and we were off to the races! They estimated 4-6 weeks for the entire project. We signed the contract on 3/31. They let us know that we were in their queue for August. We then met with Grady S. who is one of their designers. Grady came out to the house on 4/23 to look at the existing bathroom and to ask us specific questions on what colors and hardware we were looking for. He measured everything and said he'd schedule us to come to their design studio to make final selections. We met Grady on May 6 and he helped us select wall tiles, floor tiles, paint colors, and hardware. Once we made the selections, he printed out CAD drawings of everything so we could get a feel for what it would look like. From there, they ordered everything for our job. We had a pre-construction meeting with our assigned project manager, Zach N. on 7/17. Zach said they could start earlier than expected and went over the contract and the change order we requested. Again, he made sure that we were all on the same page. From there on, Zach communicated with us throughout the whole process via phone and text. He also came by often to check up on the work that was being done. They began on July 21 2026. The contractors that they used were all very professional and easy to work with. Some of the crews spoke very little to no English (Spanish and Portuguese), but since I am a bilingual Latina, it was no problem for us, although I could see where this could be an issue with other clients. The demo team put down butcher paper from the front door to and including the master bath and also put down plastic on our carpet. Then they proceeded to put up plastic walls to cut down on the dust, which I completely appreciated!! It still got dusty, but that's to be expected. Demo was done in a day and then they started working on the shower. The contractors that came out were very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions, which we incorporated, as they were working. They came out most days. After the demo team was done, the concrete team (that's what I call them) came out and installed the Schluter waterproofing system and put up the wall tiles and floor tiles. The plumber Mitch L. came out to do his bit, as did the electrician who installed a new exhaust fan. Mitch was super informative regarding what had to be done. We had a termite guy come out and spray the floor before they poured the new concrete. The painter was very detail oriented and didn't leave until he was fully satisfied with the work. He really did a great job and went above and beyond. He took away all of the floor coverings and swept all the areas. Mitch came back out to install the shower hardware and ensure that it was working properly. Both Mitch and Zach were in communication with the Pasco County inspectors and all approvals were done via Zoom. Gotta love technology! Tomorrow they will install the glass above the knee wall and do the final clean. It took 3 weeks. I can't say enough about CMK as a whole and the team, including Jason, Grady, and especially Zach. They under-promised and over-delivered! Remodeling is very expensive work and I'm so very glad we went with CMK. I can highly recommend them!!
