Taco 'bout being #TACOBLESSED and Taco Obsessed!…read more Farm to Taco in Trinity is bringing BOGO tacos to your Tuesdays and we are HERE FOR IT. Made fresh in-house by real chefs who care about serving the community and bringing back great service to their customers. While using incredible flavors while sourcing their ingredients locally you can actually taste the freshness in every bite. I had the chance to sample a bunch of menu items this week, and let me tell you , this spot is a MUST VISIT. A few of my top picks (which you can get as tacos, burritos, or nachos): Bah-Me-O-Mi, Drunken Clucker, and Who You Calling Shrimpy. Oh, and don't sleep on the tortilla chips... they're house-seasoned and fried in beef tallow for next-level flavor. #drool They're all about keeping it heavy on the bougie flavors, while being light on the bill and taco Tuesday makes that deal even better !! From smart sourcing of ingredients to zero-waste kitchen vibes (that fresh pico? used to the last bite in multiple ways to make sure everything is always kept fresh), this spot is serious about flavor and the future of our planet ‍ Friends don't let friends miss BOGO Taco Tuesday.

The people and owner created a great vibe and made us feel easy and provided lots of insight and information about each item! Very patient. Highly recommend you stop and have a taco! My served, Ryan, was prompt and knowledgeable of the menu. I asked for recommendations which he readily gave. I decided to try The Sparrow for a cocktail, which I enjoyed. For my meal I went with the Pasta Brava, which had ham, chicken, peas and mushrooms with a white sauce. It was delicious, as was the bread that was served. Good sized portions. Definitely enough left for lunch the next day. The pizzas looked amazing at the table next to me. Definitely a nice place for a bite.

It was our first experience at BellaBrava, and we met friends there on a busy Sunday evening around…read more6 p.m. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience and we will definitely be back. Hunter was our server and did a very good job taking care of our table throughout the evening. The restaurant was quite busy, so there was a little bit of a delay between receiving our appetizers and placing our entrée order, but after that everything flowed smoothly. We started with the Alto Adige Pizza -- prosciutto and cheese done in a very authentic Italian style. Absolutely delicious, although at $23 it felt a bit pricey for a pizza. We also ordered the Arancini, which were authentic, flavorful, and perfect for sharing with the table. Two of us ordered Caesar salads with extra anchovies. The anchovies were the pickled style and paired perfectly with the salad. For entrées, two of us ordered the Crostata, which I would describe as somewhat like an Italian shepherd's pie -- pasta, sausage, cheese, and sauce baked together into a pie-style dish. It already comes fairly spicy, and since I asked for extra spicy, it definitely had nearly too much heat! I probably should have tried it as originally prepared first, I think it would have been perfect. That said, it was rich, hearty, and excellent. Portion size was over the top. I took half of it home for lunch or dinner the next day. My wife ordered the Eggplant Rollatini and absolutely loved it. For dessert, we shared the Cannoli Dip Dessert, which was outstanding and ideal for the table. Crispy shells with cinnamon served with sweet cannoli cream for dipping -- simple and delicious. I liked it better than an authentic cannoli. All in all, it was a terrific first visit with authentic flavors, great atmosphere, and very enjoyable food. Looking forward to returning.

Cinco de Mayo Gem in Trinity: A Must-Try Local Mexican Spot!…read more After wrapping up a fun morning meeting our photographer for a photo shoot of our newest listing, my husband and I decided to celebrate Cinco de Mayo the right way--with an amazing lunch at a fantastic local spot in the Trinity area. Since this was the first time Cinco fell on Taco Tuesday since 2020, I played it safe and made a reservation on OpenTable. Smart move--it was *packed*! If you're a foodie hunting for authentic, flavorful Mexican food with really nice ambience and a welcoming vibe, put this place on your list immediately. You can instantly tell they care about every plate that leaves the kitchen. The house salsa was a standout--thick, rich, and packed with roasted tomato flavor instead of the usual watery stuff. The chips were made in-house and arrived perfectly fresh and warm. We asked for their hot salsa and they delivered with a housemade roasted habanero that brought serious heat! I mixed it with the regular salsa for the perfect balance, while my husband powered through it straight and loved every bite. The $8 house margaritas (normally $10) were the special of the day and excellent --perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too tart. The bartenders clearly know their craft. For tacos, my husband went with the Oaxaca tacos featuring grilled pineapple (his new favorite) and a Carne Asada that came in a very close second. I ordered the shrimp tacos and the Birria taco. The shrimp came on these housemade, grilled flour tortillas that were crispy, thicker, and absolutely addictive--I'm usually a corn tortilla loyalist, but these changed my mind! The Birria was delicious too (though I did miss having consommé for dipping). Three tacos let you mix and match, which made it easy to try a couple of different options. Even though the restaurant was buzzing, our server (whose name I unfortunately missed--sorry!) and the whole team worked like a well-oiled machine. Food and drinks came out quickly and everyone was genuinely friendly. This is a true locally owned gem. Next time we visit, I'm ordering the flight of four margaritas--something to look forward to! If you're in the Trinity area and love supporting great local restaurants, definitely check this spot out. Let me know if you go--I'd love to hear what you think!
