For each visit, he asked "Does it feel better?" Not every PT does that and i did improve with each session until the end when i no longer experienced pain. His goal is to "obliterate" the pain thru homework (stretching & excercise, accu-ball which Lifemark gave as part of insurance coverage), moist heat, Medical Accupuncture (hurts like a mother for a split sec but works!), TENS and i think ultrasound but not so much. He is excellent and very knowledgeable about PT and how it will feel for the client -i sing and he told me how the neck stretches might feel awkward for me and he was right! Now that i live in London where Medical Accupunture and his expertise is hard to find i do appreciate the kind and professional team at Lifemark! John and Sai were excellent Massage Therapists. They were a great compliment to my PT treatments with Sal and team. Susan or Suzanne didn't really help and isn't as firm in application or pressure. Robert was an awesome OT for the 1 session we had early on. He is very caring "We're/I'm here for you" is what he said during our session and he was! Don't talk to Catherine their receptionist after a massage. She'll bother u about ur next appointment, discuss treatments as per insurance, when all u want to do is rest. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by such a pleasant receptionist and this mood permeated to all the staff. I just want to make a special mention to my physiotherapist (Ms. Parmar) and her assistant. Their professional attitude and knowledge about my condition helped to relay any anxiety that I may have had about my treatment and outcomes. They both always took the time to ensure that I received a thorough treatment including exercises, ultrasound and TENS treatment. (And I can't forget to mention the soothing warm packs that were always applied to the involved areas, to ensure my comfort). Loved this! I always looked forward to my treatments knowing that when I leave, I would be in better condition than when I arrived. I am a retiree from the Nursing profession and I am fully aware of the professionalism and dedication that is required from health care practitioners when treating patients in a health care setting, so all I can say is...... My primary physiotherapist was Joanne. My first visit, she put me through several exercises to assess my injury. The next step was to go over recommended exercises to help with my recovery. She let me know that if I had any reservations about being in the common area with everyone else, they were able to set me up somewhere else. Not every physio facility is able to do that so this was definitely a bonus. Subsequent visits were more treatment oriented like using the TEMS machine and some soft tissue treatment. They had assistants of both genders and I was asked if I was okay being treated hands on by those of the opposite gender. The staff are all very pleasant and courteous. Very happy to have my treatments here.

I had to have a second surgery and suffered unnecessary pain and a lengthy recovery. Once I realized the mistakes we were making, Salim ignored my concerns and disregarded the objective scientific video evidence. I would be very cautious with Dr. Manas ability to manipulate you while ignoring your concerns. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Now as for the location itself, whenever you start a new place you are afforded the opportunity to make sure the place looks and functions great from the get go, and that's what they've done. The office is spacious and inviting and contains something I can honestly say I've never seen in a medical office: a waterfall. Everything from the individual treatment rooms to the bathrooms have been done in a way that make the place feel new and professional. If you are looking for a chiropractor, or physical therapy I highly recommend this place.

My chiropractor is Dr. Solanki and I can't really say I trust anyone else to crack my back and neck. Once someone has jerked your head to the side quickly to adjust your vertebrae, and you don't die, you feel a certain level of comfort with that person. So I can (without hesitation) recommend taking your chiropractic problems to the PULC and having a visit with Dr. Solanki. Aside from his skill as a professional, he's a good guy. Now a few extra details about the PULC. As far as I know there are more than one chiropractor at this office, but I never see them because of the time my wife and I both go (yes, she's a fan of Dr. Solanki as well). They are open on Saturday mornings but with reduced office staff. They also have on site massage therapists. The last time I was there I over heard the receptionist talking on the phone. "... all of our massage therapists are female." So for those of you out there who are calling around the city in an attempt to avoid a massage from a dude this could be your place! So if your medical coverage covers massage make sure you book early. Appointments for the end of the year fill up fast as people try to exhaust their coverage limits during the holidays season r

And I've been to chiropractors before but have always been suspicious of their efficacy. Anyways, I saw Dr. Town at Westhill and after a short assessment, he adjusted my back. My attention was not really on my back after the adjustment until the Dr. asked me how I felt? That's when I realized that the tightness (which I thought was in the muscles down my back....Rhombus??) was gone! As I said, I have never had such immediate results before and was in dis-belief after the treatment. Dr. Town said that the relief would be back by next morning and a return visit would be necessary to continue to loosen up my back. I had so gotten used to popping Advils and living with the pain that I was truly grateful for his help.
