I would like to give 4/2 to this place. Food is absolutely spot on, lots of healthy options…read more(vegetarian and vegan), meat eaters won't be disappointed neither. I've tried a few dishes there and liked pretty much all of them apart from veggie quesadilla or burrito, can't remember, that was not really what I expected. All the rest really yummy! My husband is a fan too. They have fresh juices, their fresh lemonade with raspberry is deli! They are located just glued to Tesco Inverness and is very convenient going there before doing our groceries when we are hungry. We just haven't tried any of their desserts yet because we are always too full by the end of our meals, I'll try and save some room for it next time. Decoration is quite nice for a chain restaurant, very friendly service and lots of yummy food and drinks! Don't really need to say more, do I?

Needing to stop somewhere for breakfast on a road trip, we thought we'd pop into the cafe in Tesco,…read moreand were surprised to discover Giraffe rather than the usual supermarket coffee shop offering. We each had a bacon roll and tea, which came in at £7.50 in total. Fairly averagely priced for what it was. The place itself had a bit of a nandos feel to it in its design, layout and decor. It serves alcohol and looked like it had a reasonably sized menu. I'm not sure who it's aimed at, as being in Tesco it's not the sort of place you'd necessarily go for an evening meal, and oddly it doesn't have toilets, you have to use the ones in Tesco.

We ate here on our last night in Inverness after a very long day on a tour. We did not have…read morereservations but the restaurant was accommodating and kind. The World Cup Game was on so it was lively and fun. I will tell you, this was some of the best seasoned food we had the entire time we were in the UK (two weeks). Finally we didn't feel the need to add salt to something. The flavor was just spot on. My husband had the beer steak pie with puff pastry, I had the Cullen skink, my son had a pizza (I can't remember if it was on the kids' menu or not) and my daughter had a Caesar salad with chicken, which she eats a lot at home and had been craving. Both the skink and the stew were perfectly flavored! The fish in the stew was tender and so was the steak in the pie. If we ever go back to Inverness, we will be sure to be returning to Johnny Foxes. Oh! And our waiter was wonderful! I don't remember his name but a young blonde man with a mullet kind of haircut. Thank you to him!

We dropped by for an early dinner and got seated right away in a booth. The menu is broadly pub fare, with a focus on burgers and a couple of more upscale dishes (including an excellent fried camambert). We split the camambert (panko crusted and served with a fig and onion jam); my wife had a vegan Scotch broth + house made bread + tomato & pesto bruschetta, while I went with the highland burger: haggis on top of 6oz of dry aged Angus beef. The burger was exceptional, with a deep and pleasantly gamey flavour while the haggis added some richness. Paired with a pint of a local cask ale (Cromarty Brewing Happy Chappy pale), it was as good as dinner as we could've imagined on our first night in the Highlands.
