I also loved the menu on the wall...but what I didn't love was that I couldn't try everything that was on offer! So for $22 my wife and I shared the tasting plate that included ×3 cakes, ice cream and x5 sides...now you know why we should have skipped dinner :) Best of all, if you are gluten free or vegan they have something for you. There is a lovely green area fenced off for children to play in. Also in the same building the is the Wyndham Cache shop which sells local produce and products as well as some imports of more exotic gourmet food. The place is adorned with "Go Cats" and Geelong grand final posters, along with an Australian flag and a tin to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital Appeal. Sam's is a family business. Wishing to spare the lives of innocent lambs I do not try the sharwarma but choose the felafel instead and the crinkle cut chips of course. Whilst waiting to place my order I am struck by the neat and efficient way in which the worker assembling the wraps is working. All the staff work like a premiership winning team. My order comes to $11. I then have some table anxiety as I am unsure whether I will get one by the time my meal is ready. Joy, someone stood up just in time and I happily snagged the table. A few minutes later I am greedily eating my felafel and crinkle cut chips with the all important vinegar and I am very, very happy.
