I just want to say that Dr. Kiene is the most patient, compassionate, kind doctor I have ever met…read more I went in for a consult before scheduling Mohs surgery on a Basel Cell Infiltrative cancer in the front of my scalp in my natural part line. I had spent days in tears thinking I was going to have a permanent bald spot in this area after surgery as the infiltrative Basel Cell cancer can go below the dermis where your hair follicles are. He spent at least 30 minutes explaining everything to me and even heard me out on my concern on which direction to place the stitches. Dr. Kiene's surgery team including nurse Jill who was every bit as patient, kind and compassionate as Dr. Kiene performed the surgery and kept assuring me it was going to be ok. Today I am two days past the surgery and I cannot believe how they were able to place the stitches right in my part line as I requested as well as what a great clean stitch job they performed. They placed in dissolvable stitches which is a bonus and based on what I see right now I wouldn't be surprised if the scar is almost invisible once healed. Thank you Dr. Kiene and staff for making your patients feel heard and cared for as if they are family and for the skilled, professional, clean surgery they performed on me.

I really liked Dr. McCormack very much. She did my procedure just like I asked her to, the only…read moreissue it took months of healing time and even now I feel a twinge here and there in my implants. She did a procedure that's called a "exchange " because I had an implant that burst. I'm not sure why it did but it hurt me tremendously. I initially was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and had a double mastectomy at the time. That surgeon did a horrific job because they were incredibly tight so I had them redone in 2014 to make them smaller and just more comfortable at that point. When I started to have pain in my right implant I could tell that the implant had ruptured just because how it looked and felt. The pain is also a good indicator. I went to see Dr. McCormack at her beautiful office that has the surgery center in the same building. Great for her! Nice planning. The front desk people made sure the would not be happy to help with the insurance in anyway...My surgery would be covered since the implant burst. It was a complete pain to get them to get me the doc notes and photos. The lied to me a couple of times until I FINALLY received them. I mean 10 grand is a great vacation for me. I would never get any further procedures at this office because you barely deal with the doc just with those awful front desk persons. I get it you don't want to deal with insurance but seriously they just couldn't be bothered with my request. Annoying

Nice offices, nice staff, but the results were not what I was hoping at all. She asked me what my…read moregoals were, and she made recommendations that seemed to be based on reaching my goals. She did not disclose all the details of what her recommendations would look like. Additionally, my results were the opposite of what I had hoped, and now I have to live with it every time I look in the mirror. I'm not convinced that Dr. McCormack is even concerned with her work, since I never saw her during any of my follow ups. And when I expressed my concerns during my year of healing, her staff would just try and reassure me. It's been over a year. I healed well, but the results are not good. I spent a lot of money on my surgery, but spent additional money on having to pay my bills while being off work during recovery, which I expected. With all the money I ended up paying all together, I certainly did not expect to get such poor results. And I cannot afford to go take more time off work and go back into surgery to get it fixed. When I can afford to get this fixed, I will certainly be going to a different plastic surgeon.
