We've worked with Rowland Pest a few times now for some ongoing termite issues and we couldn't be happier. Long story short: we made the switch after swarms at our house were getting more frequent and our previous pest control company that we had a termite bond with just wasn't cutting it. After the first visit, termite activity completely disappeared for over a year. As you may know, without tenting your home, you can't ever fully get rid of termites, especially living in the Colonialtown neighborhoods. The large majority of older homes deal with it in some capacity. Our last two visits have just been quick spot treatments because of the protection and treatment we got the first time. We only ever have 1 or 2 small sites of activity a year (no more swarmst though), which is a huge improvement from the last company we used. All in all, we're happy with the service and recommend them for termite bonds. Every employee that's serviced our home has been on time, professional, and easy to communicate with. Rating: 1/5 Stars I am writing this to warn anyone considering Rowland Pest Management: Do not trust this company with your home or your money. I have been a client since February 2025. I initially hired them to handle a rodent issue in my grill area--a contained problem. I paid them $1,800 to seal my home and signed up for their monthly monitoring contract. Despite this significant investment, the result has been a total failure. Here is the reality of their "service": * Zero Results: After nearly a year of payments, I have the exact same infestation in my grill area. The initial exclusion work was clearly ineffective. * Blatant Laziness: I have watched technicians arrive and sit in their vehicle for 30 minutes before finally getting out to do "work." They are burning the clock on my dime. * Proof of Negligence: The incompetence is staggering. One technician actually admitted to me that a rat had made a nest inside a bait box. This is undeniable proof that they are not checking the equipment I am paying them to monitor. They are simply going through the motions. * High Turnover & No Accountability: I have seen three or four different technicians during this time. There is no consistency, and they clearly cannot keep staff. When I demanded a manager come out to see this mess personally, they refused and just sent another low-level technician. Management is hiding behind a revolving door of untrained employees and refuses to take responsibility for their failure. Pretty amazing and rare 5 star experience ! Had a squirrel in the living area of our house and had Rowland out for inspection. After a very thorough 1.2 hour visit he determined the roof and attic to be airtight, small opening under our patio screen door sash ,then through our open patio doors the culprit ! We had an inspection done. They showed up on-time and were VERY thorough crawling around in the attic and taking oodles of pictures to show us all the damage they could find; both inside and outside the house. When the technician wasn't 100% on a conclusion, he called in to get a second opinion from a supervisor, and they were quick to get us a quote. Ultimately it ended up being out of our budget for the month ($799 for foaming a wall cavity) but we plan to schedule the treatment later in the summer. read more

Horrible service never again !!! They say they do spider webs but I had to call them on numerous times. Also they put this gel all in my house that doesn't come off my walls and counters. The lady told me the reason was because that was meant for outside not inside. Never again !!! read more

I previously paid for an entire years service up front, and everything was fine no bugs great. Apparently my years service ended without my knowledge and rowland just decided to start auto debiting the card i used previously to pay the year up front without notifying me. Now i have to wait 5-7 days for my own money to be returned to me. Poor practice and if i had not seen the charge i assume this $50 per month would have been ongoing? read more

We started with this company after finding a few mole holes in our yard back in February 2024. My husband spoke to our technician on at least 3 occasions about the moles getting worse. each time he said he would let his supervisor know. Fast forward to March 2025. Not only has the problem increased to the point that our yard has been overrun, but after several calls (only 5 calls were actually responded to): 3/12/25 4:26pm 3/13/25 3;33pm 3/14/25 10:45am 3/21/25 1:05pm and 243pm. I had asked on each one of those calls that I receive a full refund if they could/would not remove the pests as advertised, since Rowland did not only NOT remove the pests and I am now inundated, but told me that they do not trap, when it clearly says on their website that they do. On those calls, I spoke to a female who said she would forward my info to Jessie. I called again the following day and was again told that Jessie would call me back shortly. Jessie called on the 14th. I explained to him the issues that we are having and asked for help. He offered an extra application of the same useless service I was already paying for. I explained that I saw no point, since it obviously wasn't working and said that they do not trap. He said that he would notify management. After many more calls to the company with no response, I finally spoke with Wes a week later. I let him know that I now wanted a refund in full since I now had to call another company to get rid of the pests that they had been contracted to remove for over a year and had not fulfilled their obligation. He offered me a 3 month refund. I want a refund in full. I finally to asked to speak with the owner Chris Rowland and was told that the owner has nothing to do with his business. Since then, I have not received any communication from the company, despite calling 3 more times. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. the only reason that they got 1 star from me is because 0 stars was not an option. No integrity. read more

They show up when they want to. They cancel appointments and don't tell you about it. They Dodge phone calls and text messages. Don't take time off of your busy schedule to wait for them because they won't show up. They supposedly come out to my house every two months and spray the exterior for insects and almost every couple of months. We start having problems with palmetto bugs and have to call them and ask them to come out. Whatever they're doing is not working. read more

I contacted Chris at Rowland Pest Management over the weekend to schedule a termite inspection after having a bad experience with another company. Chris was able to immediately schedule an inspection for Monday afternoon, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. Rowland's technician, Jesse, called when he was on the way and arrived in the window that Chris had provided. Jesse did a very thorough inspection of the home, and alleviated any concerns that we had regarding the previous pest company we had hired (who told us we needed to have up to $100k in remediation work). I felt like Jesse was very honest and wasn't trying to upsell me services we didn't need. Jesse promptly sent over a report with his findings and made the process seamless. He inspected the entire house top to bottom and then offered a contract that met our needs at a price we could afford. I reached out to Rowland a month ago (May 11) about wasps and another bug I'm believing might be termites. I was told a supervisor would contact me by the following day (May 12). May 19th I reached out again because I received no contact back and was told someone would be to my house in the next week. It's been 3 weeks and they are not contacting me back at this point. I am no longer confident in this company. I am canceling and will search out another company. Rowland Pest Management is an awesome company. I called because I realized after Hurricane Ian, some unwanted house guests (thousands of tiny ants), had taken refuge in my attic. They were falling from the lighting and fire alarms in the ceilings. Ick! I called Rowland and they scheduled for the next day. Mark came out and did the inspection and he was awesome. Extremely thorough, took his time and answered all of my questions. While he was here, we found out I not only have an ant issues, but rats living in my attic as well. Then Chris came out and did the pest control on my house. He was also great and very professional and answered additional questions that I had. Fast forward a week later, and the ants have dwindled down to nothing. I haven't seen an ant now in almost 24 hours which is amazing because I was killing at least 2 - 5 every few minutes in my house since the hurricane. They have set the rat traps and "rat proofed" my house today. I am looking forward to being pest free moving forward. Fantastic and thorough. I had a critter problem and initially contacted Heron. They suggested the critter was gone and to just seal up the hole. A rep from Rowland's came out and took a very thorough look. He identified other animals that had gotten in and even took pictures in the attic so I could see for myself. The conversation turned to AC flow issues I was having and they were able to suggest fixes for those issues as well. They were very thorough with the critters and came out multiple times to check traps, fix issues, and look for potential new entry points. They will also be installing new insulation and review will be updated after. But as of now I highly highly recommend the company and will use them in the future. read more

He was incredibly thorough with the services and was great at explaining step-by-step what he was doing, the process as well as how our follow up will go. Horrible company. I contracted with them to get a raccoon out of my attic. The raccoon had pulled one single piece of soffit loose and entered my attic. Their employee jammed a trap into the corner damaging both the soffit frame and at least two pieces of soffit. They refused to replace the soffit and frame they damaged and were supposed to reinforce the corner and instead left me with the mess you see in these pictures. Do NOT use Rowland Pest Management. I feel the need to write this review so that others will not be led down the path and expense that I encountered. During a mold inspection, the tech discovered that I had rats in my attic. I read some reviews and called Rowland. They did an inspection and told me that I would need new insulation, rat inclusion, they quickly arranged a loan totaling 7,000. Work was started the next day. Being a single older woman, I was trusting because the salesperson they sent out seemed kind. What I learned, through a contractor was that the insulation did not need replacing. I cancelled that, but kept the work for the inclusion. Long story short, the repairs they did not last, 2 months later, rats were back in. I contacted another company, and they found the work on the roof was subpar, they put a screw through my new tiles, and left a gap, that even a racoon could get in. I tried calling"Chris" left many messages to no avail. I am still paying off 2,000 along with another 850. that I had to pay the other company to fix the mistakes they made. I am thinking what my next step with this company will be. buyer beware read more

We've been using Rowland for almost 3 years. When we first moved in our home we had a German roach problem. Chris was able to come over within days and gave me such a good price and explained that I did not have to sign a contract for him to perform a one-time service. This was so refreshing after the phone calls I had made previous to talking to him. When he came to do the treatment he was very thorough and explained what we could do to prevent going forward. We have 2 fur babies and one has allergies. They've never had a reaction to anything that he's used. We've never had a problem with anyBus since... let alone roaches. Today we had David come to spray our house (this was our first session), he was so kind and thorough and was so patient even though we have so many dogs who were loud and disruptive. I highly recommend this company. We moved here to central Florida from California and I was horrified at the ants and roaches in our rental. Supposedly it had been treated prior to our moving in, but you could never tell. This was a no go for me. I looked into several companies before going with this one. They are professional and most importantly, I haven't seen ANY pests since they treated my house. They were very personable and taught me about the methods they used.
