Hello I notice most reviews are positive about Auto Quest…read moreon here so here is one not so positive (ever wonder who writes positive reviews online). I have never ever posted a review online but felt the need too now since my life and my family"s was put at risk last evening while driving back from Orlando. First off realize many of Auto Quest cars come from auctions (think why do dealers send trade in cars to auctions). We bought a Toyota Solara just over a year ago from Auto Quest at a fare price. It had 123K with new looking tires (Thunderer tires, real cheap tires) . First thing needed to put new struts on because upper mounts were shot on the front struts. Then now after 7K miles need catalytic converter, torque bar, and brake switch. Ok at 130K stuff fails. But last night when driving back the front end started to shimmy by the time we got off the highway the steering wheel was rocking back and forth. This morning found out steel belt was coming lose on right front. Service mechanic said you were real lucky if that tire had let go at 75 it would have ripped the right front off the car. He would even let me drive the car home while waiting for the new tires. So 15 months later $3700 extra into the car. There are three other solara's currently on the Auto Quest lot at dealer prices (Wanted to buy second one). The black one has had three accidents, the white one has an accident with under carriage damage, and the red one has separated dash on passenger side. Just writing as a caution, do your homework before buying from Auto Quest (remember cars from auctions. Who put the cheap tires on the car that could have killed us on the highway? Guess we will never know.

There is a quiet, deliberate deception happening inside Estero Bay Chevrolet, and if you aren't…read morepaying close attention, you won't realize you've been bled dry until it's far too late. I walked into this showroom as a highly qualified buyer with a transparent, official Capital One pre-qualification in hand. We negotiated terms, but the moment it came time to finalize the paperwork, the atmosphere changed. My salesperson, Jay, and his finance team began aggressively pushing a bloated monthly payment. Their explanation was delivered with practiced ease: "the bank came back high because of your credit profile." It was an attempt to make me doubt myself, to make me feel small enough to just sign the lines and stop asking questions. But when you shine a light into the dark corners of their operation, the narrative falls completely apart. I demanded to see the specific APR breakdown and the details of the Capital One hard pull. Suddenly, the slick communication turned into a brick wall. Jay claimed they were "unable to share the rate or application over text." Let it be known with absolute certainty: there is contractually and legally zero reason a dealership cannot provide a required Truth in Lending APR disclosure to a consumer. They weren't protecting a process; they were protecting a lie. While they were stonewalling me, the truth leaked out from the one place they couldn't control: my direct credit alerts. Estero Bay Chevrolet never even submitted my application to Capital One. While they looked me in the eyes and blamed my credit score, they were secretly shopping my identity behind my back to TD Auto Finance, Wells Fargo, and Fifth Third; hunting for a lender that would allow them to maximize a massive, hidden interest rate markup and pack my contract with invisible junk fees. They are running an underground bait-and-switch operation beneath a corporate smile. They would rather let a guaranteed, ready-to-sign sale walk right out the door into the Saturday morning sun than allow a customer to see the real math. To the General Manager reading this: your team let a clean, done deal walk away today because they got caught red-handed running a cheap hustle, and they were too cowardly to face the music when unmasked. To the public: do not step foot on this lot. They do not see you as a customer. They see you as prey, and they count on you being too blind to see the trap. Stay far, far away.

He Said We Are Only Doing Oil Change So It Won't Take 2 Long The Max Maybe 1HR. So I Got There Around 1O:45 AM And Due To I Was Told It Won't Be 2 Long So I Just Sat In The Waiting Room And Waited. I Went To Check With Front Office To Find Out How Much Longer I Had To Wait And He Said Itms Wrapping Up Now It Won't Be 2 Long Maybe Anothee 3O Mins So I Waited Again So Around 1:4O PM And I Went To Check Again He Said Almost Ready And Ask Me To Start To Pay. I Thought After I Paid My Car Would Be Ready For Pickup But He Said Car Not Ready Yet Because They Have To Wash Car So Told Me To Wait Another 3O Mins But In The Meantime Regarding The Payment I Was Gonna Pay With Amex Card But They Said They Don't Accept This Type Card And I Was Surprised With The Maintence Well Known And Expensive Vehicles Couldn't Believe They Won't Accept Amex. After Waiting Until 2:25 PM Finally Was Able To Pickup Car. Very Frustated Because It Took Over 3 HRS. The Staff Not Even Told Us Maybe Suggestion To Grab A Bite To Eat 1st While Waiting. They Never Smiled At You Just Look At You With A Rude Reaction Besides That The Waiting Room Is Very Small And The TV Wasn't Even On To Let Us Watch TV And No Comparison With The Previous Alfa Romeo SVC Centers In Fort Myers

I haven't had the car for 60days never washed it myself hints why I showed up with bird shit on it , they politely offered to wash it. My fault for saying yes , all managers dismissed me and my allegations as if I was trying to lie. Wouldn't suggest them. Now I have to go through Alfa to get my paint fixed when all they could do was to offer a good polish but they didn't nothing to rectify the situation or issue. Service manager washed my car her self with a brush!!!! Brand new car she used a brush and probably one bucket. Wouldn't recommend them for a car wash or to even anything even trying to fix any problem you have. I'll also report to the better business bureau. Social media is a great tool. Don't worry I'll post an update once Alfa contacts me with a true resolution.

I initially called the Honda dealer in Estero and did not like anyone I spoke to there. A friend of mine has an Acura and suggested I call Scanlon. So glad I did. I initially called and spoke to someone, but for whatever reason he told me someone else had to call me back to make an appointment, but never did. My friend told me to make an appointment online which I did. My service rep was Jose. Excellent customer service! No pressure, respectful and very professional. They had to order parts since they don't carry Honda parts. Rather than bring my car back and deal with my car potentially not starting and wait again, Jose set me up with a loaner for 4 days. Very much appreciated. Luckily, only one part had to be replaced which cost 40% less than it could have been. As I said, they didn't try to take advantage of me. They didn't force the inspection on me, I always decline anyway because dealers always find something. And washed my very filthy car! I think they may washed extra. Lots of bugs-long drive from Chicago, plus it was not clean to begin with. Anyway, if you have an Acura or even a Honda, definitely go to Scanlon!! Ask for Jose!

The sales process felt more focused on closing the deal than addressing my questions and concerns. The dealership has a nice showroom and a decent selection of vehicles, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. However, customer service after the initial interaction left a lot to be desired. I expected a smoother, more transparent experience from an Acura dealership. Hopefully they improve their communication and put more emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Prices are upfront and even their dealer fee was only $800 which is about $300-$500 less than most. I took time off work based on the offer and left without service. The Service Manager made up some vague excuse and refused to complete the service without a charge. The promotion clearly states: "Complimentary Multi-Point Inspection." The only fine print visible says things like: * Must present offer at time of write-up * One offer per visit * Cannot combine with other offers It does NOT say: * Oil change required * Purchase required * Minimum service required That means the plain reading of the offer is: They should inspect the vehicle at no charge, period.
