Prices here are even cheaper than the duty-free prices at the airport, so definitely worth a visit for your souvenir shopping needs. This shop is located at the bottom floor of the St. Lawrence Market, which closes quite early so keep that in mind. They are right next to the bottom of the stairs, you can't miss them! The taffies come in these adorable cloth bags with either a bear, moose, maple leaf, or Canadian flag logo -- perfect to gift as is! I was particularly craving taffy, so this was perfect for me, since the Werther's Maple Éclairs are so hard to find recently. The maple candies are made with pure maple syrup and come in a variety of flavors. The candies are in a super cute maple-leaf shape. They make for perfect gifts for anyone with a sweet tooth. I bought the blueberry flavor, and it's pretty much exactly as you'd expect. According to my local friends, these aren't exactly easy to find as they are only sold at souvenir shops. I also bought some ice wine tea. Won't be able to try them until much later, but the round containers are super pretty with the gold embossing. Also perfect for gifting as ice wine is a Canadian specialty. The employees here were also super friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to ask them if you have any questions!

Just because! I did kind of fall in love with the fuzzy bunnies. At $28, they were a little out of my impulse buy price range; then my eyes landed on the mink one. OHMYGAWD. I'm not normally into fur stuff... but guys... SO... SOFT! But it was like $100+, so I knew I had to shuffle my ass out of there before I pulled the plastic out. Whew. I got myself a cute pair of socks for $4 and a cat ear headband for $10. The reason I'm docking one star is that the prices seem a little inflated. They have a surprisingly large inventory of items considering their small space, all absolutely adorable! Somethings you might want to keep in mind- they don't restock very frequently (which makes sense because it's quite a small shop!) and certain items such as the washi tape and 6-ring binders only have one copy (and likely won't be restocked quickly)- so if you're eyeing one of those, make sure to snag it!

They have a very nice selection of ceramics, a crazy pipe collection, and overall well chosen home items. I ended up buying a nice striped apron. I asked the employees for help and they were super on the ball and not at all too cool to help me out, which is something I time happens a lot with trendy places in the area. My only note is that a lot of items seemed to be quite pricey, but I'm sure everything is locally and well made so I'd hope that's what warrants the hefty price tag. I will be back!

However, I find that I am most often buying cards from here. Walk to the back, and there is a really stunning section of (Canadian made only?) greeting cards on a wall at the back. Really beautiful stuff and a rotating collection is much appreciated. When they have sales, I scoop up several at a time for toonies. Otherwise, it's the kind of place you could browse for hours, fully entertained. Or you might just walk in and buy the whole shop. Come to think of it, I haven't bought many things for myself here, but now I want to.
