I wanted a concrete pad because I knew we were not going to unhook for the night. We will do the same tonight. They do also have covered sites, if they are available. I did not even ask about that for tonight. It is overcast and cooler than normal for West Texas in August. The manager is super friendly, and all transactions take place over the phone. The access road is wide, the property is fenced on 3 sides, and the entrance is well-lit. There is a convenient, access controlled, laundry and shower building at the front of the park. The park is well-lit. The photos on the website are very accurate. Most of the spots have concrete pads and some places are covered. During my extended stay, the park patrons were very quiet and very helpful. All of my questions were promptly answered and the management was quite helpful. The park is located within a few miles from everything that Snyder has to offer. There is a 24-hour convenience store and gas station less than 1/2 mile away. (It has gas and diesel). The Tractor Supply store is about two miles down the road and they offer propane refills. There is a train track located behind the rear of the park, however, in 3 months, I only head the train blow a horn on two of the nights. It is otherwise a very quiet neighborhood/area. The water is city water and is nice and clean. High-speed cable internet and TV services are available at a reasonable price from Spectrum. It only took a few days for them to set me up. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and pleasant experience.

In this part of Texas you don't have a ton of RV spots that have character. This one does. It's…read morenot just a flat piece of cleared land. It's far enough from the freeway that you don't hear the traffic yet close enough to easily get on and off the freeway. The owner is a really nice guy and he'll make you feel welcome and glad you stopped in. The place doesn't have amenities like a public shower or laundry facilities, but, the folk are really friendly and the price is very fair. Stay a night or longer, this place can really feel like a quiet spot.
