i am a "type A" perfectionist. i have difficulty trusting others to do a good job because i'm…read morealways thinking i could just do it better myself. i received linda's name from a friend who is also a fellow perfectionist. i hired linda for "day of planning" which i should say is really more like 2-4 wks before planning (and frankly from the day i hired her, we were in contact at least once a week). the only major differences between her 2 levels of service are whether or not you want her to negotiate contracts and attend tastings with you etc. by the way if i could do it over again, i would have TOTALLY used her to negotiate contracts (i hired her after i had all of my vendors/contracts solidified). anyway, linda is professional, efficient, organized, responsive, extremely easy to work with and exceptional at her job. i would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. she literally makes it so that you don't have ANYTHING to think about worry about or do on your wedding day other than have fun. my wedding would have been so much different (stressful, stressful, and more stressful) if i didn't have her taking care of all of those last minute details. i cannot stress how wonderful linda is and how happy i am with her services. i sincerely believe my wedding was such a success and so enjoyable for ME and my husband because of her!

Prospect Public Library held for spring break. He did a little magic, a little comedy, and some fun balloon tricks. This guy has been doing this all his adult life--unless that's also a joke and part of his act--but regardless, he's great at his job. She can do a lovely, refined bridal shower at the country club just as meticulously as a loud, techno party in a loft space. No response for days, multiple phone calls in the same day trying to book the party (apparently no good record keeping system, no central location for info of people spoken to). But my main issue is after the party. My daughter received "insta-snow" in her goodie bag. 4 hours after the party she was using it and it got into her eyes. I immediately called the only phone number I could find and am still upset with the response I received. First of all, they have "no phone number" to their location in Northbrook - where we had our party. They can't transfer you, you can't get any answers. The only thing they could help me do is book a party. They can't get in touch with anyone, can't get in touch with a manager. Nothing. So we left it as he was passing an "urgent message" to their manager. I'm not interested in their urgent. It's been over 30 hours and no response. Still waiting. They don't care about the safety of my child. We will never participate in any activity at KSL again and will also share that they don't have good safety and communication protocols in place.
