Brightly lit gas and convenience store. Fried chicken seems to be a speciality and the greasy aroma permeates the place. Not bad, unless you have a queasy tummy and are looking for antacids. Breakfast sandwiches are average at best. Other sandwiches available throughout the day, including some "seasonal" specials. Good selection of brewed coffee, but nothing exceptional. In a hurry...good place to stop, grab, and go. read more

Stopped here to grab gas and some snacks from inside. Not much to really boast about, but it was a fairly clean gas station. They also serve chicken that I've heard is really good. read more

Boycott Royal Farms I pumped gas yesterday for only $5.88 I drive off and I got no gas Drive back to tell them and girl tells me to come back in the morning I come back and the manager on duty tells me "We can't do nothing about that" So bc their pump was not working they give me no gas and I still pay for air Then manager goes into his wallet and pays me 5$ bc the Royal Farms does not I did not take the managers personal money F Royal Farms as a business I went there all the time and now you lost me and future customers for your selfish greedy ways Rutter's you are now my new gas station read more

Normally coming to a place like this would start me up on my infamously famous default three star gas station check list but in this instance this was meant to be a on the go food run. But, you know that the best laid schemes of mice and men often get screwed and such is what happened to me at this Royal Farms. Now, I guess I should preface everything by saying that while I had been to a RF before, it was only outside for gas and never inside so I had no idea what to expect. There is indeed a MTO food area the same as a Wawa or a Sheetz with touch screens to order except that's where the similarities stop. Compared to the other two that I mentioned the menu at RF is at best half of the others in terms of options and for the most part if you're not down on fried stuff plus white bread you're kind of SOL here. Speaking briefly of the fried angle, if you're someone who is sweet on fried chicken (obviously I am not) then this will be heaven for you not only in terms of the menu but in terms of you smelling like fryer grease in the car for the next hour or more due to the odor in the store (Yick!). Back to the menu. No home style salads as I don't dig mass amounts of mayo, they were out of hot dogs and the only burgers available were sliders, six different sandwiches which bizarrely could only be ordered on white or on croissants and fried chicken. I'm sure I'm missing something or two but the gist is let's take a very small menu and make it even smaller by knocking out several options plus let's only have one young kid working by himself while four people were already waiting. #Nope In the end I bought some drinks and left to go across the bridge to the Subway in Columbia with no wait disappointed that while RF may look like a Wawa/Sheetz clone it by no means is in their league and in the future except for gas I will avoid them whenever possible. read more

For gas yes, I stopped today & filled up and bought a coffee. Yuck! I saw new equipment and thought just maybe for 2$ + it would be good. Never again! read more

Staff was polite and enthusiastic. The chicken is decent. Exceeded expectations for what I'd expect from a gas station. I did the the mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese could've had more flavor. All in all I'd return for more. read more

I just had a frustrating experience at this store. I ordered some chicken and fries after I completed my order i was told it would be 25 minutes until the chicken would be ready not great but I said I would wait. It took 48 minutes for them to complete my order. Great i got steaming hot chicken and cold mushy fries. They did apologize for the wait However during my waiting time i was ignored not offered even something as simple as a free drink. Nobody should have to wait that long for anything at a so called convenience store. read more

I've had royal farms before once when i went down south and i was surprised to learn one had come to this area. as far as food in general goes it's pretty good. as far as convenience store food goes it's AWESOME. the chicken is crispy cheap and they also have an option to get just dark meat if you're a fan of it (i am). their fries are perfectly seasoned and you can get cheese sauce on the side which is slightly spicy. their mashed potatoes are great and so is the mac and cheese. my girlfriend really likes their salads. really glad they moved a store up here so i wouldn't only have wawa (also sheetz is terrible). if you're not looking to spend a lot of money and you're not on a diet, check this place out. read more

Wow what a poor royal farms , today made ke relize why i avoid this specific one . most times when i stop here the food isnt great and the cashier service also very poor .. The only reason im giving it 2 stars and not 1 is because they do over a pretty good selection of just general things like drinks and quick bites type food .. But the last visit was the worst .. Got a drink a bag of chips and ordered some fries ... Went up to pay there was a person infront of me that already looked like he was standing there for awhile to relize the cashier was over switching coffee and didnt seem to care there was customers then she finally came over i went up no hi nothing rings me up i give the money then the cashier proceeded to just grab a bag and throw it on top of my stuff for me to bag my own things .. Then over to wait for my fries they set them on the counter no number and looked at me then decided after alittle to call my number .. Fries were cold and not very good .. Ive been to a few royal farms and this one is the worst so far ... I mean if cashier dont want to do anything then do like the other royals and put in like 2 self check outs .. read more

since they put the automatic checkouts in which i refuse to use i always have to wait for a clerk to check me out. also in the morning around 5:45 which you think would be one of the busiest times for coffee they are always empty. this morning there were people standing around waiting for coffee to brew. read more

I have never received poorer service at a gas station, which should say plenty enough on its own. We just moved to the area a week ago and this location was the closet place to pick up odds and ends. Cashier/manager were both rude and looked like minimum wage workers with no intention on helping customers. When my wife complained, they were rude and miserable to her. Will never stop here again. read more

I finally tried RF fried chicken and Western fries. Their chicken is great and their fries, like Jo Jo potatoes (fried coated potato wedges), are sooo addicting! Price is a little higher but they usually run a monthly special. read more

yes it seems like they have no manager, had problems with lottery machine on several occasions, but no manager not on duty, and key locked in safe gave person name and address said they would call but not today, it seems odd that they are not trusted with the key I am also letting lottery know how they operate, we will no longer do business here if you can trust your help sorry cant trust you will be talking to police about our problem also. read more
