I dropped by yesterday and a sales associate named Ua greeted me with a big smile and asked how she…read morecould help me. She ended up showing me every piece that caught my eye (at least a dozen) and quickly assessed my preferences. She then made suggestions and I ended up purchasing a beautiful ring from their Kabana collection. Ua never pushed or pressured me and when I asked her for a few minutes to think about my possible purchase, she smiled and said, "Of course, you need to be sure." When I returned and told her I wanted to make the purchase, she again explained everything about the piece to me to make sure I knew what I was purchasing. I am a kama'aina who will be returning again and again. I also am now going to be a loyal customer of Ua's. I hope the corporate folks read this review and recognize her in some way.

It was my favorite ring and brought so many wonderful memories....the flower had broken off and I have been trying to find a replacement. So I came here and I actually found a few rings similar to it. I narrowed down a few rings and ended up with this gorgeous wave ring with diamonds and a blue diamond in the middle. It was more than what I was looking to spend, but I couldn't put it down. It's stunning. All their diamonds are mined, each one unique as the next and this is a piece that I will be able to pass down. The staff were quite amazing and didn't push me at all. In fact they made it so comfortable and enjoyable! I had a lot of fun trying on all the different rings and styles. The gentleman that worked there was so patient with me. He let me go check out the rings outside in natural light. So although it was quite a bit more than what I wanted to spend, it is timeless, unique and one of a kind (there wasn't another one there). Thank you all for making this such a great experience. Now I have another reason to come back to this beautiful island.

That's when I visited Tiffany & Co here. I was just looking around and were greeted by the sweetest workers who didn't care if I was there to buy jewelry or not. Usually, I would get a greeting and that's about it. They would go back to chit chatting with each other. But not here! Everyone was so welcoming. We were helped by Mika. She showed us some watches and since I was there, I asked if I can get my rings cleaned. While waiting for rings to be cleaned, a couple more employees asked if we needed any help or wanted anything to drink. We politely declined, but the manager, Hassan took it upon himself and us some drinks in a Tiffany bag (one water bottle and one sparkling water) and said it's a hot day... we may need it later. He also gave us some cookies that are popular on the big island. A small gesture like that goes a long way and we were just so appreciative. Overall, such friendly staff that seems to work together as a team. No one cared if I was already being helped by someone else, they will do whatever to make you feel comfortable and do not need anything else. Seems like the manager is leading by example himself, which is why he such wonderful employees. I would definitely come back. Overall, I definitely recommend this Tiffany & Co if you're in the area and are looking to buy jewelry.

So to commemorate our trip to the Islands and do some way early Christmas shopping, I decided to get one for my wife. Leaving my wife shopping in Crazy Shirts across the way, I sneak over to Dolphin and ask about the charms. The nice sales ladies said I can buy one of the pre-made ones or customize my own, which is a great idea. I chose a bunch of sterling silver pineapples, sea turtles, plumeria, hibiscus, swirly glass beads and before I knew it, I spent a bundle. The bracelet is beautiful and is well worth it though. Completing my surrepticious purchase, I sneak back into Crazy Shirts with no one the wiser. Heh heh. (This review has been sitting in my bucket for the last 5 months after coming back from Hawaii. I had to wait until Christmas to post this review, so as not to let the cat out of the bag.)

My moms favorite shop in Hawai'i is Na Hoku and she would always buy something to remember our trip. So entering my mom's favorite jewelry store was kind of tough for me, but I felt so welcomed by Jo and Alexandra... I wanted to buy something that had meaning and paid honor to my mom... Jo found the perfect piece... It's a charm in the shape of a Maile leaf... The Maile leaf represents Aloha (love) Ho'ohanohano (Honor) and Mahalo (respect) It's a beautiful charm with a Mother of Pearl inlay and Koa wood ( Koa wood represents strength and resilience) It was like this charm was hand made for me... On such a difficult and trying time in my life, it's like my mom was telling them to pick this for me... They didn't push me to buy anything, but they made the void of missing my mom just a little more tolerable... by finding this perfect charm! Much aloha Jo and Alexandra...I can't wait to visit you again! Mahalo!!!

After we got back to the room I received an email from Tua saying she'd found the ring in another store and I could stop by the next day and try it on.
