Such an interesting little boutique in such a quiet outdoor shopping center! I liked all the loud extravagant bright pieces shown on the display nearby and I was curious to see what the inside looks like! They had one particular high heel that looked like a very interesting piece of artwork although it was a shoe that you could slip your foot into and it had interesting lines that swirled and curved around one's foot almost like a staircase. The owner of the shop was incredibly helpful and friendly and showed me a number of shoes in different colors as well as some changeable shoes based on different pieces of flair you could add onto the top/toe area. I didn't buy anything in particular this day, but I will definitely be back to see what they have next time I'm on the big island! read more

Only a one star because can't leave zero or less. The female working there claimed to be the owner, which was later confirmed (spouse of the owner). She seems exceedingly unhinged. The jewelry is fake and plastic. She berated my wife and my 8 year old daughter. They felt unsafe and traumatized. My daughter had literally just touched a plastic bracelet and it fell apart The woman tried to get my wife to pay $200 cash to be able to leave. My wife ultimately had to pay $80 on credit card. She was able to get the plastic junk though -- so we have the evidence of what in our opinion, the scam that this place is. Stay far far away. read more

After dining at one of the nearby restaurants, the window displays of Jaurabchi caught my wife's eye like no other. Sadly, the place only has one person working at a time and she was closed for her own dinner. My wife asked me to take a picture of the store name so that she could find out more about it. That's how much she liked what she saw. So when a couple days later, we were back in the area with a few hours to kill before our plane took off, she wanted to drive back here to see if the store was open. It was! I kidded with the owner (?)/person working that she better get ready for a sale! I browsed around the interior of this small shop and was impressed with the eye catching jewelry, colorful dresses, fantastic shoes, and bedazzled clutches that were on display. I knew my wife was going to be there for awhile, so I quietly waited outside at the convenient rest area located in the shopping center commons. At least the music (live) was pretty good. Every so often, my wife would appear wearing a different dress and ask my opinion. I think she was really just making sure I didn't wander off, but I tried to be helpful as she would then go back in and try on something else. She was happy with the dress she bought. I was happy that she found something to make her happy. I also was happy to go get some ice cream afterwards with just enough time to eat it before heading to the airport. bad service. the older man at the store did not let me try the piece of jewellery. he also said that the prices at the store are different from price tags. very strange and horrible customer service experience. the items they sell look nice from afar but when you look closer you will realize that it is just overpriced, mediocre quality junk for most of it. read more

If I could give this store OWNER a negative rating I would. I went into this store to purchase something special to remember my trip by. Instead my friends and I were immersed into something like the Pretty Woman Rodeo Drive incident. The owner would not allow me to try on a pair of shoes... even though he could see that my feet were narrow and "qualified" to fit the shoes. He acted as if my friends and I couldn't afford to buy anything and were there to steal. I have never in my life been treated in such a disrespectful manner. Prior to us leaving he had to check to make sure an item my friend was looking at was where she left it. I waited to post this for a day so I could see how I felt about it later. I'm still in such disbelief that it happened. There are lots of other stores that have friendly respectful associates to help you.
